About The Cliffs
The Cliffs feature large, one bedroom-one bathroom and loft-style apartments in Highland Park. This property features ample storage, carpet or vinyl flooring, and plenty of natural lighting for indoor plants. Select units have washer/dryer hookups, otherwise, there is laundry on-site. The Cliffs has on-site parking for tenants only. Residents are within walking distance of some of the area's many parks, golf courses, and tennis courts. A short driving distance will get residents to Forest Park with restaurants like Red Or White and The General. Lakeview, Downtown Birmingham, and Avondale are all also very close. Every unit at The Cliffs is a little different, so we suggest touring in person with a leasing agent before applying. New residents must set up their electric accounts with Alabama Power. One of Alabama’s oldest and most historic neighborhoods, Highland Park, is also one of its prettiest. Highland Park features hilly, wooded streets lined with a diverse collection of architecture that includes historic mansions, office towers, and apartment buildings. Other important landmarks include the Highland Park Golf Course, Virginia Samford Theatre, and the Donnelly House.
Highland Park sits along the east side of Five Points South and Southtown and is within a few blocks of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. St. Vincent Hospital and the Southview Medical Group are also located in the neighborhood. Residents enjoy local hotspots like O’Henry’s Coffee and Tea and Rojo, along with several parks, including Rufus Rhodes Park, William J. Rushton Sr. Park, and Caldwell Park. Highland Park Golf Course, the oldest golf course in Alabama, is located on the east side of the neighborhood.
