Disappointed Smells like garbage 50% of the time. No one ever picks up my recycling. Last week dog poo bags overflowed from the trash for several days. I don’t get notifications of packages. Geese and duck poop all over.
Fast service! The maintenance team at The Charles has addressed my requests the same day and have done a great job fixing my issues. Thank you!!

Our experience at The Charles was pretty solid. Here are the reasons we liked and disliked living here: Pro: -Great amenities. The pool/gym/clubhouse are all excellent. -Floorplan. We got the 2 sinks in the master and loved this. -Most maintenance was timely. Con: -Awful cancellation policy. Technically there is no cancellation policy on the lease, so the offer they provide through corporate is the worst we've come across. 2.5 months rent, forfeited deposit, $300 lease break fee, and extra fees for painting/cleaning. If you do the math, that's $3,000+ for any unit. We didn't think that we'd be moving anytime soon, but circumstances change so we just have to deal with it. This is our second year in the unit and we also confirmed that they have a waitlist for the unit we live in, so we know they could cut us some slack. No luck. -You have to pay for burnt-out lightbulbs. Yep... lightbulbs. -Relatively cheap/fast construction. We had paint splatter on appliances, countertops, and carpet upon move in. The finishing touches were rushed. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors pretty well.
I am enjoying my space here!! Completely new, very helpful staff (ask for Zena), and not so busy (except still expanding, but very little construction noise). Can’t wait for summer and the beautiful pool!! Was well worth making the move!! Only downside is it is too new for your address to be found on google maps.. lol

I've unfortunately hit the character limit. But noise, lack of willingness to help, an unprepared apartment and nothing to make up for that fact, among other things has lead us to give a one star. Do your research on this one!
