Hugging the Congaree River and stretching east, Columbia is a sprawling city with a history dating back to colonial times. Nicknamed the "Capital of Southern Hospitality," Columbia is a welcoming, warm city -- it is also a college town, home to the University of South Carolina. The university is located downtown, covering over 359 acres. The historic, top-ranking university dates back to 1801, but the oldest structure in Columbia is the Seibels House, built around 1796. It currently serves as a house museum.

Recently transferred units and staff helped make it a very seamless experience. Very clean and well taken care of amenities and units. Very generous catering events as well
I fell n love with Cardinal on my first visit to see the property I love living here it is very mature adult grown living even though ppl have children just renewed my lease for 15 months not going anywhere I once lived n a apartment n the area for 13 years until I came to Cardinal, also ppl need to keep all pets on leases because everyone does not like BIG or little dogs and dogs have teeth and do bite, let your dog relief themselves where I don't have to see it, that's for #1 or #2, oh yeah keep ALL trash areas clean and change the water filter n the gym

It’s going in my 3rd year as a resident here at the cardinal and it has been an extremely pleasant experience! The rental office staff is super friendly and responsive in addressing concerns! I love it here!
The staff are friendly as can be! The location of the apartments is perfect, the grocery store is just down the street and not to mention crumble cookie is just a 3 minute walk! The apartment is so quiet, only thing i hear everyday is my ice machine for my refrigerator. 10/10 recommend!
Nice and very convenient. Units have updated appliances that work well. The amenities stay fairly clean. I feel fairly safe, but the parking garage can be scary at night.
I think the staff means well but just can’t get some things together. Apartments are expensive without proper insulation. So noise, heating and air problems are a serious headache. No lighting in garage parking lot for over a month. Heating bill is through the roof as heat is not distributed throughout unit properly. Maintenance request filed again and again, with no resolution. Location is still one of the best but pack your patience in your moving box if you decide to move here.
Great place to live! Staff is wonderful and there are lots of amenities. Location is perfect, with lots to walk to from your apartment! Convenient to 77 and most of town!

I have stayed at the Cardinal for more than 2 years now and thoroughly enjoyed everything the place has to offer. Will plan to renew my lease and stay here longer.
Generally very happy with out apartment. Been here for 4 months now. Only one suggestion: wish the corridors were vacuumed once in a while. Otherwise services are good.
My time here has been pretty good so far. The people are nice and the community has been quiet. The staff has been prompt when reaching out with questions.

The Cardinal Apartments are convenient to so many things ranging from restaurants and services to food store. Sam’s Club and Walmart are just up the street as well. The apartment complex is very nice with a super gym and pool complex. The folks who manage the apartments and maintenance are quick to act when you pass questions to them. We’ve been here a month and we are very pleased that we are here.

Some struggles here and there, but still a solid property with so much in the area and they do respond to all requests and concerns quickly. Valet trash needs to go away as it takes away from the hallways and the smell is too much for an A-rated property. In all, the staff is great and I have been with the property for 3 years.

I've loved living at The Cardinal! The apartments are clean and the building is newly built. The units are spacious and get lots of natural light. Great location!!!

Just moved in. So far, so good. My apartment is lovely and just perfect for me. I particularly like the security system. It makes me feel safe.

Wonderful community location. Apartments are well furnished with great amenities. Minimal maintenance requests have been handled very professionally.

Love the Cardinal! Super close to everything and pet friendly! The spring cleaning has been great! I love the amenities and being so close to all my friends that live here!

Beautiful gym. Love the pool view and the working elevators. The kitchen is just big enough for people to gather and cook together. Wish the postal service understood how to deliver to the location.
