The Brookeville

Moved out years ago due to poor management, roaches, mice, garbage pileup, and many more issues. They flat out refused to give me my security deposit back despite there being zero damage to the unit. Unit was thoroughly cleaned before leaving. Attempted to get my deposit back for years now with no actual reply ever given. It's been five years.

I received a tour from Sara yesterday for a one bedroom apartment and it was super informative! I love the way the buildings are set up and the way the sidewalks give easy access for walking. They give you a packet with renter requirements, so it’s easy to see what you need to apply. The apartments looked in great condition from the outside and I loved the demo apartment I got to see inside for the one bedroom.

Ieshia was very helpful and very detailed oriented when explaining all the information needed for me to get an apartment. She took the time to walk me through the neighborhood and show me the unit and I will be moving in soon and I am happy that she’s the manager of this property.

Ieshia is so nice I have been here since 2008 and this is the best I have been treated since I have been a resident here I love the new office staff.

I have been living here for two years now and I never had any problems. If something stopped working they would always come on time to fix.

Two roomies and I recently moved into the complex. Needless to say, we had quite the process to get here and were slowed down by various exterior factors unrelated to Brookeville themselves. Jason and the rest of the team were very patient and committed to getting us into our new home. There has been quick response time to issues we have had thus far, namely the AC not working when we first got here. The problem was fixed quickly!

I've lived here for over 10 years and rarely had any problems. Maintenance takes care of problems quickly and I've enjoyed my stay here. Really my only complaints are a loud downstairs neighbor and the old style windows let in too much air when it's cold.

This has been the absolute worse experience I have ever had renting anything in my life. The apartment was not ready when I moved in, it was invested with roaches which took them months to rectify, the cabinets are literally crumbling way as if there are termites here, there is always trash all over the complex, I can't use my dishwasher, there is water building up in my basement, a visible water stain on the second bedroom ceiling, and the people in the leasing office are unorganized and rude! I have never met a group of people so unenthused to do their jobs-and because of how they treat people out here, I have no respect for them. The customer service standards are so low and ridiculous and unprofessional they need to get rid of the person responsible for managing this place! I didn't want to believe all of the negative reviews online, before I chose to sign a lease here, but now I regret ever choosing this place! They are the worse group of people to try to work with!! Because I care about my credit I don't want to break my lease, but I think about it often.

I was a tenant here for 4 years and due to a job loss I had to forgo my apartment. The team at the Brooksville really worked with me to get my balance owed paid off which was amazing. My kids loved living here. There are plenty of children there with a safe place to play which is rare at a lot of complexes. So I never worry about them when they go out my front door to play. There is also 2 locations to catch the busses to school so I never worried about them walking to or from the bus stops. My neighbors were great and friendly too. Although I've been gone for 4 years I still keep in contact with those families. I'm very excited to come back. The kids are super excited so to me, move in date can't come soon enough.

I chose these apartments due to Westerville City Schools being their school district. I have not had any problems with the apartment, maintenance has been a huge help when necessary. Not a loud area, and overall it has been great since I moved in about five months ago.

I wouldn’t even recommend this apartment to satan himself. The office staff is so horrible and rude, like really? Y’all have no place to be actin out with your mold filled apartments. You pay for pest control but honey you sure as heck don’t receive service from them. Bugs all over the apartment and a few mice have been caught. They refuse to fill your work orders. I went to the office to let them know that and they said every work form they have says completed WHEN NO ONE CAME TO OUR APARTMENT TO FIX IT. Just don’t live here, you’re wasting your money..a box would be better than this.

Good morning!! I want to start by saying that Brookeville team is the greatest group of rental assistance I’ve ever received. Jordan made it easy and simple to get me all set up with my new apartment. Very reasonable pricing in a nice neighborhood.. am very happy to be living in my new place. Come check them out .. I would recommend anyone looking for a one bedroom , 2 bedroom apartment to go see Them. Ask for Jordan tell her Omar sent you. Thanks have a great day

I Livis in a apartment there and and the last 3 weeks i Call at the office to make some report about the air conditioned and some people come and i think do it something about the problem but few days later back and again the machine its broken....finally Call to tus office año no body answer my and its hot inside the apartment....to bad service

Office staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. They show nice pics of the model but wen you actually move in you'll notice poor work being done. I've had roaches that they have sprayed for on 3 separate occasions now. My A C. Been out for a week now. I was told they have over 400 apartments, most of which don't have a.c. either and will now have to sit on a waiting list which could be as long as another 2 weeks. If you move here I imagine it's your last choice and its for the school district because the apartments themselves are horrible and the staff is even worst

I have lived at this property for 4 years and moved in with the expectation that yes its an older community but I will still have my repairs done in a timely manner and I will be treated with respect. For the first couple years everything was fine but as of lately, everything has been terrible and I am only staying because this is a good school district and good location (I have a home in contract so the madness ends soon!). I have submitted work orders that have been yet to be completed (this is now weeks after). The office staff is EXTREMELY rude and seem to act like since your problem isnt their problem then the problem is null in void. I have been called names by their staff, my daughter has been mistreated and a staff member even tried to hit on my boyfriend all because she didnt like me. WoW! Good thing he prefers a woman with class. But my ceiling leaks every year, my windows dont lock, maintenance has entered my home with no notice while my daughter was changing into her uniform for practice, my basement floods every year, my car has been broken in to. The police are here not to monitor but to answer crime calls almost daily and the trash area is disgusting! They allow residents to have torn up blinds which looks trashy and the community as a whole has just been overtaken with people that dont care. Kindda like the staff so I guess it takes one to know one. I hate it here and hate that I had to leave this review but I would only wish this place on my worst enemy.

The brookeville apartment was the worst apartment I ever been in,the house was full of roach the office people wasn’t doing nothing I have to go there a lot of times for them to come and do something about it,and even that didn’t work I have to trow alot of my stuffs before a move out I was there for a year and in winter time my heater wasn’t working so I hade to wait almost three months for them to come fix it,I was paying almost a thousand dollares for a two bedroom thrown house, the complex is so big and they only have one place to trow the garbage and it was so far,the office people was mean and when you got a problem in your apartment u have to wait weeks for them to come fix it the manager wasn’t doing nothing, it was the worse complex I even been I’m not going back there never

I am a long time resident that moved to this property over 6 years ago because of the pleasant experience I had with the prior staff as well as the good school district. Since they have hired new leasing agents, I (along with many of my neighbors) have been treated with the utmost disrespect. These agents have the worst attitudes and have a blatant disregard for those that have been long time residents. They act like they have better things to do than tend to their residents and its really disturbing. I will be moving once my daughter graduates in a year but until then, I will try to figure things out/ do repairs on my own. Its better than being disrespected by people that are supposed to be in a "customer service" position.

The biggest problem I have encountered being the office staff are extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I value customer service. They speak in such a demeaning manner. They are not welcoming and have a tendency to handle personal affairs (like chatting with friends) before assiting you. I am a long time resident. The current staff is fairly new and the attitudes they carry cause this to be the first time I have ever said I wouldn't recommend these apartments.

They are very helpful and polite anytime I call in.

it takes them 60 days to fix your stuff on the weekend the traffic so bad.

The trash pickup area has piles of people's garbage just thrown on the ground. There's literally rodents LIVING under the garbage compactor. So gross. I went to take my trash out and a raccoon was staring at me. The trash compactor breaks every week or two.

I would not Recommend this apartment for anyone bad Maintenance also I only resigned my lease because there was a pool but the pool just opened July 19 rent is over priced for quailty of apartment
