Lively, upbeat and casual, Mission Dolores captures the spirit of diversity that represents the heart of San Francisco culture. Located in the north central portion of San Francisco at the crossroads of Noe Valley, the Castro District, and Haight-Ashbury, Mission Dolores streets buzz with activity all day and well into the night. Mission Dolores is wedged between Dolores Heights and the Mission District. The neighborhood wraps around and is named for the Mision San Francisco de Asis. or Mission Dolores. This historic mission was founded in 1776. The current mission building replaced the earlier log building and was built in 1791, making it the oldest building in San Francisco.
Mission Dolores has become one of San Francisco's hippest neighborhoods in a city known for its unique, trendy communities. Here, old Victorians with tiny, well-tended yards dot steep, tree-lined streets, and small wine and tapas bars dot the landscape.

Fantastic staff! They know their residents and it is so nice to be greeted by name when I walk through the buildings.
Property Manager at The Brady, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear our team’s personal touch makes your experience special. We’re grateful to have you as part of our community!
It is a very nice looking and modern apartment until you move in. Then all the problems start - the biggest being the staff is completely unresponsive. I have emailed and talked to them several times about issues and they have ignored me every time. There is no soundproofing - I can hear my neighbors, the elevator, and even people talking by the front gate all day long. Building material is cheap - despite me being the first tenant, the floorboards are coming loose.
Property Manager at The Brady, Responded To This Review
Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback about your experience with us.
I love the new feel of the Brady and all of the amenities! I love how it caters to business people and the gym is huge!
Property Manager at The Brady, Responded To This Review
Thank you for the positive review, and so happy to hear you are loving the gyms and common spaces on-site!
The apartment facilities are generally good, but there were several flaws present in the interior prior to occupancy (indentations, discolorations, etc.), as well as noise issues (noise directly from the hallway, interior construction sounds, loud barking from dogs, etc.). I don't find that most staff members react very promptly when I bring up some issues.
Property Manager at The Brady, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you like the facilities but apologize for the issues with the interior and noise. We'll address these concerns and work on improving staff response times. We appreciate your input and are committed to improving your experience. Please reach out if you have any further concerns.
The Brady is an exceptional community and the staff/management is top notch. They've created a a safe/comfortable community here and really look for ways to connect us. By far one of the best communities I've lived in and I can't wait to see what's in store going forward!

Move in was a breeze and I feel super welcome to the community. Fitness center has all the things that you need (it has only one rack and a handful of machines but there is a cable pulley, trx, and cardio equipment) and the rest of the amenities are incredible. Security is great and the premises are very clean!

Living at The Brady has been a wonderful experience! The features in the community and in our apartment are great and we are centrally located so it’s easy to experience everything San Francisco has to offer.
I enjoy living at The Brady. The apartment finish is contemporary modern which I really like. They have built-in wood closet, double layers microwave and a large refrigerator.
The Brady's staff and residents really makes this place a community and a very welcoming place to call home. The amenities are really nice and the units are cozy!
As a newer resident at The Brady, I’m excited to become more involved in and learn more about the community. The recently refreshed management team prioritizes resident concerns and plans events to connect with the community.
VERY UNSAFE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING Building Management ignores residents concerns on safety. I have been living here for 4 months and REGRET signing this lease. During these 4 months: -I have had THREE run ins with unhoused individuals that have breached the building. -My daughter and I were swung at with a thick chain right out side of the building. - From building breaches, residents property have been stolen (packages and items from storage units). - Resident’s guests were held at gun point right outside the building. Management did not communicate this to residents. - I never use the gym as the walk to the building where Gym is located is UNSAFE, especially at night or early morning. - the parking stacker breaks frequently and due this I can’t get my car out in time or at all. I have arrive late to multiple commitments. I have reached out to management multiple times requesting increased security and nothing has changed. I’ve just been strung along with promises of change, or “we will look into this” or “come talk to us”. I chose Brady because they offered a good leasing promotion and layouts were spacious. I REALLY REGRET IT. I dread coming home and I’m on edge ALL THE TIME. The savings are not worth it.
The building is absolutely gorgeous with a variety of floor plans and amenities. The staff are always gracious and greet residents as they come and go from the community. The neighbors are generally nice, especially those that attend the variety of fun resident events. I would strongly suggest giving this community a look! :)
Wood Residential is unprofessional, does not communicate clearly, and does not take accountability to address tenants safety concerns, including an armed robbery that occured at the building entrance. I assumed issues would come up as it is new. I also knew this area is a isolated/dark so can feel unsafe. I love my unit but the overall experience has been disappointing as there is little to no accountability from management. There was an armed robbery at the entrance on a weekend morning. The incident is not the building’s fault, but management has not sufficiently responded to tenants concerns or even notified us. I only found out because the victim is a friend. Safety/Crime: Living in a city has certain risks and exposures that are not the fault of any apartment building. There was the robbery at gunpoint in the middle of a weekend morning at the entrance and Management did not inform us. I suggested a 24 hour armed security person and also offered to set up time to discuss this matter. I was told that it was an “isolated occurrence” so I guess nothing is going to be done about it. We have night patrol, but don’t seem to be effective. There was a package room theft and little information about how they got into the building or access to a seemingly secure package room. I offered suggestions to make the building more secure and no one acknowledged my email. The fire alarm also goes off regularly with false alarms. Move in: The team was not very responsive. I asked for virtual tours and they told me the service was bad. I had a friend take a look and he was able to FaceTime me from the unit. Other people had better experiences, maybe this was just because I was one of the OG tenants and working out kinks with the process. They did apologize when I moved in so I appreciated the accountability here Maintenance: It was quick to schedule and fix my maintenance issue. Other questions I have go unanswered. I sent a note asking what to do about ventilation as my unit has no windows that open and never got a response. Amenities: The gym is nice. Currently you can only access it by walking in a sketchy alleyway(allegedly there is an underground path that will open at some point). The 9th floor lounge is nice (firepit, BBQ, and tons of outdoor space). The second floor office area is nice if you’re working from home and there is also a guest suite you can rent for a short term stay. The tenant events are thoughtful and fun.
The day I was moving in there was some issue with my unit but Mychaela went above and beyond to resolve the issue and ensure everything was taken care of making it super convenient for me. The staff is very friendly and responsive. Attention to details with the unit is amazing too and location is ideal. Happy to call this home :)
I've really loved living here! The quality of the common areas, gym, friendliness of the staff and overall atmosphere at the Brady is far above any other apartment building that I toured in SF.
Love the specs of the apartment - especially the electric stoves. Great views. Amazing lounge. The team - Mychaela and Mac - are really wonderful. Always on hand to help and made us feel welcomed right from the start.
New spot, the staff is really nice, good amenities and nice neighbours
We moved in from out of state and The Brady made our move to San Francisco much more pleasant. The location is great! Christopher is friendly and very responsive. Feels like Home!
