From the moment I arrived at Cortland Brackenridge, it felt like home. The community is beautiful, the amenities are modern, and the pool area is like something out of a resort. Everything around the property is so convenient, which makes day-to-day living easy. But the real difference here is the staff. Christopher, Susan, and the Henrys maintenance and cleaning team treat this place like it’s their own, and it shows. They respond faster than anywhere I’ve ever lived and go out of their way to make sure residents are happy. It’s not just good service—it’s genuine care. That’s rare, and it’s the reason this is a 5-star place to live.

????? I’ve been temporarily staying in San Antonio and choosing Cortland Brackenridge has easily been the best choice I could have made. The property is beautiful, the pool and amenities are top quality, and the community around it has everything you could want close by. It’s a place that feels welcoming the moment you drive in. But the biggest reason this place stands out is the people. Christopher, Susan, and work orders get handled unbelievably fast (usually within an hour), communication is clear and respectful, and you can tell they genuinely care about residents’ happiness. Even small things like stopping by the office for a package or coffee, you’re reminded of how rare that level of service and kindness really is. Cortland Brackenridge isn’t just a pretty property—it’s a community run by people who pour everything they have into making residents feel at home. If I could give it 6 stars, I absolutely would.
The maintenance team is the best there is. Henry, Adrian, Junior are kind, courteous, and always helpful. They work so hard to make sure everything is in excellent shape, and they take time to get to know the residents. They always say hello or wave when we see them. They take care of us like we are family! Olga does a wonderful job keeping things clean and neat. We really appreciate her.

When I first went to go pick up my key, Miss Susan was wonderful. She introduced me to Mr. Henry and Mr. Adrian and they have all taken really good care of me through the move-in process. Everybody’s been super sweet super helpful very accommodating. I’m looking forward to my leasing experience under this management. Additionally, I recently brought a concern to the Cortland Brackenridge team, and they went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. Chris in particular made sure I felt heard and valued, and he followed through until we reached a solution I was satisfied with. I really appreciate the level of care and professionalism. I would not recommend cortland Brackenridge to anyone. It seems nice when you come in and tour the place. But once you are a customer and are living here, you no longer get treated with any appreciation or priority at all. The place is not friendly and even the management staff go out of their way not to help. When we go to get a package, the management team always looks at us like, what now. We had high hopes for this place. The one good thing this place has going for it, is the Maintenace staff is quick to respond. You may have to call them multiple times about the same situation, but they are quick.

If you are seeking an apartment home, Cortland Brackenridge is a gem. It is exceptionally maintained, had a great management and maintenance team, beautifully appointed apartments and wonderful amenities. And it is convenient to parks, museums, The Pearl and downtown. Couldn’t ask for more.

Great location! Some restaurants & parks are easily walkable. Staff is great always friendly & helpful. Lots of community events to attend so you can meet other residents, grab refreshments & be social for a bit. Pet friendly, dog park is large & open with a few skill building obstacles. Plenty of Pet waste stations throughout the complex as well.

Lived here for 8yrs, its been such a great experience. Even when I had times to browse other apts, I couldn't pass up this location and the people that work here. I've been treated with respect, and prompt service. Very friendly staff that's made a good home for me for some time.

As a single “older” female, one of the best things about living at Cortland is that I feel safe in this gated community. I like how the buildings & adjacent areas are well lighted. Even though I don’t personally know all the folks who live around me, people here are friendly and I believe they would help me if I was in need.

When I looked into an apartment in San Antonio Cortland Brackenridge, I checked all the boxes. I enjoyed and still enjoy living at Cortland Brackenridge, and I renewed my contract. It is the best bang for your buck, centrally located and close enough to downtown SA, near a major highway, among other city amenities. Walking distance from great food. Great gym (two stories), resort-style pool. Staff and maintenance teams are top-tier—great community (students, military). If you are looking for a place to live in SA, look no further. Plus, the maintenance team is top-notch and prompt.

This was my first time as a renter and set the bar for the future apartments I’ll live in. I’m moving for work and sad to say bye to my apartment with the BEST view. The area is quiet and my pup and I always felt safe. The team is quick to help and friendly. You won’t regret choosing Brackenridge.

I have been living at Cortland Brackenridge for almost 3 years and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience. All staff here are wonderful. Cortland Brackenridge is an excellent place to live. It is close to so many things, but most important is the feeling of being cared for, always being treated with respect and always feeling safe.

Good apartment management team. Overall safe environment for military couples and families. Lots of fun events, pet friendly, money well spent for a sense of security. Great location, Close to Fort Sam Houston, Downtown, parks, museums, golfing, country club, and college.
This is an excellently managed apartment community, from the front office staff to maintenance. Everyone is so friendly and helpful! Any concerns I report have always been handled quickly. I’ve lived here for 4 years now and have no plans to leave anytime soon!

Staff is top notch, any rare issues that occur are promptly taken care of. I love the Huge dog park and the convenience of having the Pearl so close as well as the Brakenridge park. If you are noise sensitive highly recommend the top floor!
Cortland Brackenridge is a wonderful place to live—excellent staff and maintainence crew; well appointed apartments; close to The Pearl, Brackenridge Park, the zoo and downtown. Parking for residents and guests is easy. Lovely amenities. What more can you ask?
The management team here is so friendly and responsive. Maintenance requests are answered promptly and they go above and beyond to help. Very happy living here.

Cortland Brackenridge is a wonderful place to live! It is in a quiet, safe neighborhood but still close to downtown and everything you could want and need. The office staff is very kind and responsive and provides residents with everything needed to make the complex feel like home! I would definitely recommend Cortland Brackenridge to someone moving to the area. Generally, I feel pretty safe, and the amenities are just about the best you'll find. While it might not be the cheapest option, the management team makes up for it!
