Located in the northern part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Hurst is a bustling suburb in the Mid-Cities region located 30 minutes from Dallas, 15 minutes from Fort Worth, and 20 minutes from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Access to these areas is made even easier thanks to Interstate 820, which runs through town. Along this interstate, North East Mall, one of the state’s largest malls, and surrounding retailers find their homes. Shopping isn’t just confined to this thoroughfare; plazas filled with all the essentials as well as great dining options are located in other parts of the city as well. Take a break from shopping and go to one of the many parks and recreation facilities in town; indoor skydiving, Hurst Athletic Complex, and Chisholm Park are just a few of the outdoor adventures in town.
