Located along the Flint River about an hour northwest of Downtown Detroit, Flint is the largest city in Genesee County. As a college town, it is home to the University of Michigan-Flint, Kettering University, and Mott Community College. Flint provides easy access to the entire region, with I-475 and I-69 passing through the area. Bishop International Airport is located on the southeast side of the city.
Flint is known as the "Vehicle City" -- General Motors was founded in flint in 1908. With a history dating back to 1819, Flint features a variety of architecture along its tree-lined streets. Poorly designed. Loud tenants
Building design: someone’s downstairs living room is below yours livingroom. Someone’s downstairs livingroom is also above your bedroom. If they are loud - you hear it. Walls are thin. Floors are thin. $150 electric bill for 1 br. Unresponsive Managnent. Trashy neighbors.
