The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Emerge Vista
I live in a nice 2-bedroom apartment. Very quiete, service is great! The office staff is very friendly and helpful. The pet park is HUGE, and my dogs love it! I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice quiete place to live in the Northwest side of San Antonio.
Been here for 4.5 month, nothing gets done, fence are wide open everybody can come and go ,every wk end trash dumpster is full and tons of trash laying by it.roaches every where on my apartment The entire property is over run by roaches and all they do is come by every other week and only spray. Toaches are not affected by it. My apartment is over run buy roaches, and management only says we put you on list for spraying. This place says it luxury .but its not.

Hello, we appreciate the time you took to leave us feedback. We're very sorry to hear you had a disappointing experience when it comes to pest issues in your home. Please contact the office and request for a heavy cleanout treatment vs a regular spray so we can help resolve this issues in a timely fashion. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with you further so we can improve.
Garbage disposal is always filled to capacity leaving you getting attacked by flies if you decide to use the dumpster. Some people don't even use the dumpster and leave piles of garbage along the fence. Dogs left out in the heat with animal waste all over. Car break ins were constant during summer times. Spend the extra few hundred and live in a better area of SATX.

We appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. We're very sorry about your experience. We would appreciate another opportunity to improve. Please contact us at your earliest convenience. Sincerely, Anthony
If I could give zero stars I would. They never answer their phone so if you want anything done you have to go in person. They also lost my previous roommates desk legs that were $200?? Which we’re still not even sure why they touched them in the first place doing maintenance?? My apartment lost electricity for a whole WEEK while I was out of town and nobody (including cps) could give me answers why. Their front desk staff literally doesn’t know a thing and will give you conflicting information based on who you talk to. I’ve had to fight tooth and nail with them just to get them to keep their word about paying the early termination fee online. They also give me incorrect information regarding rent during my 60 day notice. I would rather sleep on nails then deal with them again

Leaving sort of a long term review as I moved in September 2020 and I have to say the experience since has been very nice and extremely welcoming. The front office was very accommodating during the sign up process and they were able to get me approved within the same day, much faster than other complexes who were sitting on my application for 3 days. There hasn’t been any hidden fees or unpleasant surprises ever since moving in, the valet trash is consistent and the trash compactor is easily accessible to throw away any extra trash away. There are also about a dozen recycling bins next to the compactor so there are spaces to recycle in addition to just trash. The maintenance team is on point, I haven’t used them much but every time I put in a request they came the same day, and with the new online portal they make filling out a request really easy. The parking can get busy next to the buildings at night but they have a large lot near the entrance & the reserved car ports are only $35/mo, there is also a good amount of lights around the complex so it doesn’t look sketchy at night and easy to maneuver. The actual apartment is very nice, the carpet feels new and the kitchen looks amazing with the white cabinets! I have to say that the patio is also really nice, enough space to put a table and chair outside if you wanted to get some fresh air. Also there isn’t any noise issues, most of the time I don’t even hear my neighbors at all and the only time I do hear them is if I hear dogs barking which is not in their control and not that disturbing. Honestly there isn’t anything wrong with the apartment units, if I wanted to nitpick I would say that that the laundry room door and the pantry door get in the way with each other which is kinda annoying but you just have to close one and move the other. Also at night you can hear some loud cars trying to race or something, I’m fine with it since I used to live next to Lackland and those jets were much worse haha, normal traffic isn’t noticeable. The location is also pretty good, there’s a H-E-B, Walmart, & Sams Club all down the road and a good amount of restaurants nearby for eating out. Traffic around the place also isn’t bad, getting on DeZavala from I-10 is gonna be busy as that intersection has a lot of cars during peak hours, but it clears up fairly quickly. Overall I would highly recommend this apartment complex if you’re looking for a place in the DeZavala area and near UTSA.

We greatly appreciate you taking the time to provide us with some great feedback about what we are excelling at and where we can look to improve. As always, please do not hesitate to let us know if you were to need anything in the near future.
Most of the reviews on this site are old. I've lived at Benton before it was Benton and it was pretty bad office staff wouldn't fix things. Lights throughout the property were always out and it didn't feel safe. In the last year ot has become a place to call my home. The property has been painted and updated and its improved 100%. The new staff has been here a little over a year and they've improved the property.

Benton is quiet, comfortable, amenities are great. Staff is friendly and the maintenance too. They fix whatever u tell them to fix. The apartments are roomy and spacious the walls are with calm accent. Am very happy here

We love seeing that our staff is providing attentive service and care. As always, please do not hesitate to let us know if there is ever anything else we can do for you moving forward. Thanks again!
DO NOT I REPEAT, do not move here!!! It’s completely been taken over by roaches! And it doesn’t stop there. Its bug infested. I have requested pest control (since we pay pest control monthly) multiple times and they came about twice and stop coming. Obviously it didn’t resolve the roach problem. The units are small and not worth it compare to the price. I only been here a couple months and there is already new management. They already went through a couple before I got here. These are the most dirtiest apartments I have ever seen. I honestly can’t wait to move. We made such a huge mistake signing.
Not safe ,there is no light at all in the parking, car broken twice ,everything stolen. It's dangerous to park by yourself at night no light at all in the parking. Management don't care they never respond to your email. Everything is old in the apartment oven, refrigerator, dishwasher never work. Trash on the stairs .
Do not move here!!!!!! Upon moving in, it was Roach infested and everything was dirty and broken. I only signed a 6 month lease and my door was kicked in every month, the first time was the first day I was moving in. The apartments would not return my calls or online workorders, one time they left my front door broken for a whole week. My car window was busted, along with the two cars that were parked next to mine. The older lady’s that work in the office are so rude and told me they didn’t have to answer to me when I asked them for the copies of the work orders that allowed them to enter my apartment to fix things. Do not move here!!!!!!!
Trash. Don’t. Do. It. The office ladies are extremely rude and maintenance shows up 2 - 3 weeks after you put in the request. No one picks up their dogs poop so watch where you step. The pool barely gets cleaned. The gym is always out of order. Only one of the gates works. It’s not the end of the world but for the price you can live in a much nicer, put together complex.
Apartment management never seems to take accountability for issues and blames previous management. The staff gets rotated and doesn't keep a set foundation. Neighborhood is getting more dangerous from weekly burglary and gun held situations. Not safe and staff doesn't care for community safety. Not enough lighting and vulnerable to crime. Keep out if possible. Own car port right by apartment and criminals still manage to clear my belongings of my car. Witness several crimes.
If you have a problem, good luck getting anything done. Management is not responsive. I am moving out ASAP. Also not a safe place for my young children. Pot smoking in the units surrounding me.

Thank you for your review and rating, we appreciate all feedback from our residents. I would love the opportunity to meet with you to discuss the concerns that you have. I am available Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm. Thank you, Korinda S. Hillstone Ranch Community Manager
The management that was here when we moved in was absolutely horrendus. The new management company is fantastic. Sure the gate was broken for a month or two and it's open on the weekends. However, I don't people have noticed that the police department patrols our complex over late night hours. They actually drive in and check the area. We feel very safe here. During the last managements reign since we moved in our dishwasher hasn't worked properly and had to call maintenance at least 6 times and they wouldn't fix the fridge for like a month. With new management we reported the dishwasher being broke twice and on the 2nd time they replaced it. The new maintenance personnel are fantastic and at the office they are so helpful and friendly. Things have changed much for the better. However, the tenants let their dogs take a dump anywhere, even right next to my patio and none of them EVER BOTHER to pick it up. There are like 5 or more designated dog pooping areas around the complex WITH doggy bags and bins. NOBODY uses them. Most tenants seem to be stuck up. The pool is by no means full all the time, hardly anybody uses it. The pool guy comes multiple times a week and it looks like there is a hot tub. There are some very well taken care of gas barbecue grills under a covered area with plenty of sitting area. And a clubhouse right next to it, a fantastic one. Package acceptance is fantastic at the office. All in all I'd knock off like $200 of rent and say it'd be plenty worth living here. Though I think it is over priced for the quality. I've seen some much much nicer and luxurious places for the same price in this area.
These apartments were managed by Greystar, a new company took over and they do not care about the tenants. The gate has been broken for a month with no end in sight. You call the office or stop by with a concern and the response is always "I don't know what to tell you". The pool is now full of people who do not even live here, people are moving out at all hours of the night. If I could give zero stars I would. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
Worst experience EVER!!!!! Started even before we moved in. ONE day before our move in they call us and say we have to move in a week later because it wasn't ready. Even after we scheduled our move in nearly 2 months before. 2. We moved in, light switches didn't work. Fire detector batteries were all low (continuous beeping), missing all four drip pans in the stove. Missing a drawer from the kitchen. 3. Oh, how could I forget. My tub wouldn't drain at all! 4. There is NO PARKING in the back, the first couple of nights I had to park at the leasing office and had to walk to the back, which forced me to rent a garage. 5. Our mailbox keys didn't work, when we tried to go get a new set of keys made. The MASTER set didn't work. We had to wait two weeks to get into our mailbox. 6. Next, we rented a washer and dryer. The washer stopped mid cycle and didn't spin our clothes. The dryer didn't warm to dry our clothes. Here's the worst part: I filed a complaint through email (because that's the only communication they would give us because they never answered their office phone), a week later no response, I emailed again the lady apologized and said she would put a work order in, of course she didn't, so I went in the office to put the work order in myself. Long story short, a month later my washer and dryer still didn't work. When I complained to the office the manager was soooooooo rude and sarcastic. 7. Last but not least, we got roaches.......................... NEVER AGAIN!!! I HATE HILLSTONE RANCH APARTMENT COMPLEX SO MUCH! I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL MY 5 MONTH LEASE IS OVER IN JANUARY. HORRIBLE PLACE.
i likewhere i live its a quite place and very friendly place evebody gets along and they are animal friendly and its alwasys clean
I think its a great and small community they treat you very nice and make you feel welcomed and they try and accomadete you . We were very luck to fine this place. We had just move to this city and we felt like this place was the place to start our new journey in San Antonio .
I never write reviews but I felt compelled to do so just to do a service to anybody thinking of moving here. Don't be fooled by the Luxury units sign out front it's anything but that. It's like the sirens calling you to the shores. For starters they don't fix anything and not only do they not fix anything when you put in a service request they'll mark it down as complete when they don't even set foot in your place. There are so many things wrong with this place I don't know what to get into next. Maybe the tallest mountain in San Antonio of garbage in front of the dumpster every week. There's no security so people's cars have been broken in and women have been attacked at night. I've lived in pretty dumpy apartments and I didn't have as many problems there as Hillstone "so called" luxury apartments. Happiest day when I moved and no longer give these people my money. You were warned.
It's pretty close to everything apartments are pretty nice. Its near the University Fiesta Texas and The Rim. I really like the neighborhood.
Even though I've recently moved in these apartments, I feel so safe here. The other tenants are very friendly, as well as the staff in the leasing office. I haven't had any problems at this apartment complex, all and all I'm glad I live here.
