The neighborhood is located just three miles south of San Diego State University, so it's a great option for renters looking to be close to campus. Except for El Cajon Boulevard, Rolando remains largely residential. Rolando's curving streets are famous for their nostalgic, bungalow-style homes and charming, rolling hills.
