Go to hometown favorite Bear River State Park, a 324-acre park with breathtaking overlooks and a plethora of activities. This natural area has space for archery, camping, geocaching, boating, fishing, horseback riding, and more. Bear Meadows Park is another popular area featuring sports facilities, exercise stations, and an amphitheater. In the winter, Evanston has a variety of ice ponds for ice skating and fishing as well.
