Fun, Tidy and secured Apartments in downtown phoenix! Its walkable distance to all the fun places, stadiums and stores! Rooftop pool is big and confortable for all weathers! Loving my stay in Battery since 2 years almost!

When I first moved in, maintenance was great—quick responses, solid fixes. Now, it’s definitely not the same. I had an issue with my outlets, they came to fix it, but the repair didn’t even last a week. Things just take way longer now. The overall upkeep of the building has also gone downhill. The parking garage is always dirty, the elevators smell like pet accidents way too often, and the entrance gate is constantly broken. It’s frustrating, especially when we’re paying for things like secure parking. When I signed my lease, I was told there would be resident events, at least two a month, but those seem to have disappeared. The community feel was one of the things that drew me here, and now it’s just lacking. That being said, I love my actual apartment. The layout is great, and every time someone visits, they mention how nice it is. The location is super convenient too, which is a big plus. It just sucks that the building itself doesn’t feel as well taken care of anymore.

Terrible apartment

DO NOT stay at the battery apartments they are terribly built and terribly managed. My bathroom was leaking down to the apartments below me and I had to live like this pictures shown for 3 MONTHS in these “luxury apartments.” Management was little to no help with occupying me to work things out or just communicating in general when it would be finished. I was only gave a credit of a petty 300 off my rent when I couldn’t even use my own bathroom that I pay every month for. People that were working in my bathroom would literally come in un announced with the battery key to work on the bathroom when I was and was not home without any communication for management. DO NOT. Stay at the battery it is not a home for you and they do not care about their residents

I’ve lived at the Battery for about a month now and have absolutely enjoyed the location the most! I am within walking distance to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, gyms, and grocery stores. It was also the most affordable apartment I could find downtown and the move-in experience was so easy.

I LOVE living here. I had 1 minor maintenance request in my first week, which was fixed within 24 hours. It is always clean and I see the cleaning crew multiple times a week which makes me feel like I live in a very upscale environment. Rooftop pool is lovely. My apartment is great and I have had a fully positive experience here so far :)

The battery is great

I recently moved to the Battery and it was probably the best experience thus far as renting I have had. Aleia-Lauren was very pleasant and spent time showing me the apartment as well as explaining everything in detail. She even would do follow up calls when I would call and she wasn't in and I had to speak with someone else. She went above and beyond to make sure the experience was awesome! The apartment still looks brand new along with the complex and they have one of the best pools in downtown phoenix. The first floor smells amazing! I wish whatever scent they use on the first floor they could pump to the remaining floors too. The battery is the place to be. Nice staff, great location and nice apartment. I absolutely love it here. The amenities are gorgeous, especially the view of the city from the pool and the hot tub. Battery Apartments are phenomenal. Everything is so seamless. If I forget to lock my door I can simply check my Dwelo app to confirm. -They continue to make promises they cannot fulfill. -Communication from management needs major improvement . -Delayed response time from management. -Management notifies of delays with very short notice (days or a few weeks before the move-in date they promised) -The only thing they have succeeded with is making false reassurances. -Feels like management is taking us on a roller-coaster ride. -They are good at making bad first impressions

We share many of your frustrations here and it definitely feels unbelievable. However, dishonesty is not one of our core values. Any notice received from the general contractor is immediately shared with all future community-members within 24-hours as outlined in the signed Pre-Leasing Construction Agreement - so all parties are aware that unforeseen events may result in a delay. Therefore, we must continue to advise that we're not at liberty to move you into a space that's not been cleared for secure occupancy from the city. please be wary - unlikely this property will ever get off the ground

Tried to move in for a December 2021 move in date - I was reassured by management multiple times that my move in date would be honored because they were close to receiving a cert of occupancy at the end of Nov 2021. Felt like dishonesty for as far into the leasing process I got and then my apartment fell through 6 days before I moved 2000 miles - had to scramble and the whole situation was sort of unbelievable.

Don't take them too seriously!

The physical-- onsite management team is nice. Clear and quick communication. I am in property management and can say that their customer service is up to par in most areas. BUT, they are dishonest. We were religiously told pictures of the finished product would be done next week and the next week turned into next week and that turned into next month and that turned into 2-3 months and so on and so forth. HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY, especially with people's living situation. Good luck to them! Seems like it's going to be an amazing project whenever they can find the time to pass inspections!

So when met with unforeseen obstacles, we're deeply disappointed in our inability to carryout ambitions to officially open and understand how that may be perceived as \"dishonest.\" However, I can assure that's never been the circumstance. As an apparent industry professional, you may know that we are at the sole mercy of the city/county inspectors for any associated development demands, and permits to operate. Without these resources and approvals, the general contractor simply cannot progress with delivering a safe space for you to reside in - which is ultimately of utmost importance to us. On behalf of the management team at The Battery, general contractor and developers, I extend our deepest apologies and hope to restore your faith in our brand once the community eventually launches next month. The Battery is laughably pathetic. Really great at making promises, not so great at providing a place to live. Funny how a place that isn’t even half way built yet miraculously has racked up a 4 star rating.

I'm happy to jump in and help! :) Although we're super bummed to hear that you're displeased with our new development progress as we inch towards our new opening date, it's a bit difficult to pinpoint an issue specific to your experience when there's no identity or profile to reference, but I completely understand your frustration here. We totally recognize that excitement for The Battery PHX to open is at an ALL-TIME high, and so are our expectations to deliver a timely product. So, I do apologize if our new opening date in September no longer aligns with your moving needs, but can confirm that we've refunded any and all fees paid to anyone adversely affected by this untimely delay challenge. As you may know, we're completely at the mercy of the City/County to obtain permits to open/operate, and must adhere to all development safety protocols in order to do so. We'd never compromise a future residents safety or experience in exchange for immediate occupancy, and I'm sure most can understand and respect that. We pride ourselves on putting our community first and will continue to keep that as a sole focus as a founding housing leader of The Warehouse District. :) Fortunately, the same review process and platforms that allow you to freely rate an unopened community with 1-star, is the same review process that allows for future community-members to rate otherwise, at their discretion.
