The City of Bowie rests eighteen miles east of Washington D.C. This Prince George’s County community focuses its sights on being economically friendly by promoting recycling programs and bike trails to “go green.” Residents of Bowie encourage both the visual and performing arts, and art galleries can be found and viewed at city hall.

Property Ratings at Aspen at Melford Town Center
If you are a young single professional transplant looking for a luxurious living space, this is NOT the place for you. Residents don't respect shared spaces, quiet hours, trash policies, or single residents. Children run around all hours of the day. The shared spaces essentially function as community recreational center style spaces. (Not peaceful or quiet, and families/guests rarely clean up behind themselves) If you are in search of a family friendly resort style living complex with amenities such as recreation center style public pool, apartments where children are allowed to run across the floors 6am - 10pm, and where quiet hours are optional rather than enforced, then you would enjoy living at Aspen. For the price and proximity to major cities you can find town houses or apartments that are single living friendly, quiet, and affordable. Trust me, this isn't that. The maintenance team is EXCEPTIONAL! They are the MVPs of the complex.
The staff was helpful and wonderful!! Also, I was provided with equipment to help me moving in by the staff!! I was definitely impressed of how quick and easy my move in was. It was under an hour!!

Very disappointed with many things. Parking is horrible, water pressure is weak, and the constant smell of marijuana when I step on my balcony is ridiculous.

Move in was quite simple. The front office was very helpful and attentive to my needs. I received a tour and detailed instruction on move-in. Thank you to the team for all the help.
Clean, kind, and lovely across the board! Love having the lake nearby. The garage feels a bit tight to drive through, but spots are spacious.

I just moved in on 8/13, but if I wasn't already impressed with everything when I toured (which I was), I am definitely impressed now! Julia, Erin, and Marlin have been great. I moved from a townhome with lots of stairs and got tired of owning. Now I live in a beautiful apartment with luxury inside and out. And no stairs!

I love living here! I’m soo glad my first experience at Aspen continues a year later. Natalia continues to be the standard bearer of excellence that I received the first time I called to inquire about possible residency. Julia has continued to be best of the best with her ability to walk residents through all aspects of the move in process. The addition of Aaryn and Ashley to the office team has been like extra sunshine on an already beautifully clear day. The maintenance team is second to none. The cleaning staff is pleasant and welcoming. They do a fantastic job keeping Aspen resort level clean. And it all starts from the top with GM Lori. Her leadership is evident based on everything above. Last but certainly not least, the residents are phenomenal. I have met soo many wonderful people and pets that I get to call my neighbors!

The place is great, but the only negative is the amount of noise I can hear from the upstairs neighbor. I guess hearing someone walking around is to be expected, but I shouldn’t be able to hear conversations from the upstairs unit above me.

We haven’t moved in yet, but picked up our keys! The community has been very nice thus far, the staff have been welcoming and accommodating. After our poor experiences with Bell Partners, Bozzuto Properties have been a welcomed change.

Next week will be 1 year at Aspen. I signed my new lease a few ago! The luxury resort feel from everyone in the office, the maintenance team, and the cleaning crew sets a high bar. Natalia welcomed me to he property a year ago and has been the same phenomenal person to this day. Julia walked me through the leasing process with unmatched hospitality. The addition of Aaryn and Ashley makes Aspen the best place to live. Lori’s leadership as GM is evident in the near flawless execution of excellence from the entire Aspen team. I wanted to brag about the convenience to multiple shopping centers in every direction. I could talk about the proximity to DC, Baltimore, and Annapolis. I could even share how there are many parks and walking paths nearby. All of that is true!! The most important review of all is knowing that every time I walk into the building I’m greeted by name. The attention to detail and respect that is shown everyday is the main reason I renewed my lease. And it helps that my dog is even more popular than me. I've been living here for 9 months, and this has been by far the noisiest building I've ever lived in. The walls are very thin. You can hear your neighbor's every footstep, every conversation, constant dog barking, and doors slamming. There is no quiet enjoyment in not one room of your own apartment. If you value quiet and peace of mind, Aspen is not the place for you. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! The rent is too expensive for the quality of the building to be so cheap. If you're going to have bare floors, at least have the decency to soundproof. If you're going to label the building as "luxury", at least have the decency to use better insulation between the units. My experience has been absolutely terrible from day one. I definitely will not be renewing my lease. I'm officially counting the days until I can get out of here.

from tour, through the application process, to getting our keys, the front desk staff made our move stress free. So far the Aspen knocks it out the park with their customer service, luxurious building and amenities. I feel like I live at a resort!

We moved here March 2, 2024. We decided to renewal our lease for another 18 months. This location makes sense for us because it's close to our jobs. The entire staff is always professional and pleasant. They know us by our names . The building is brand new. It's so peaceful and quiet. It's safe to walk around to enjoy the beautiful pond with ducks and nature. The building interior and exterior is always kept up. If we have any issues they are right on it. Top Notch apartments and very much worth every single penny! The building is brand new, facilities are perfect, including the gym which is unusual. I have zero complaints at all.
Aspen so far has been a great place to live. Our move in experience was very easy and all staff is so accommodating. Maintenance staff fixes things day of or next day and are very friendly. The complex is always clean and the gym is great!

It’s only been 4 days but the move-in was easy and the property is beautiful. I most looking forward to using the gym and movie theatre. When summer comes we plan to enjoy the salt water pool. The residents and staff are pleasant. We are enjoying staffing in what feels like a 5 star hotel.

Office staff is amazing. I love my apt. Just the right space for me. You never have to worry if packages are being delivered safely as the staff are available for signatures.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience at this property. The employees have been fantastic and have provided excellent customer service and support. Communication has been top-notch and the property management team is great at responding to any questions or concerns in a timely manner. Aspen at Melford town center is a phenomenal place to call home. The staff is top notch, professional, and very attentive to the needs of the residents. The facilities are clean and 5 star resort like. The views as you walk around the property and the lake are picturesque and peaceful. The neighbors and their furry family members are kind, friendly, and respectful. I truly love it here. If you’re looking for a great community to call home this is it. 30 mins from Baltimore and downtown Washington DC. Too many stores, restaurants, and places of interest in between to name.

We have lived here since August 2024 and we have enjoyed it so much. Having a large parking garage onsite is very convenient. The building is very well maintained and they keep it very clean. My favorite part is living right by some water with a walking trail around it. It’s tucked away in a new and upcoming area. Definitely worth a look inside and consider making this place your home.

The office and maintenance staff are very professional, courteous and responsive. There are monthly activities to give you the opportunities to meet other residence and interact with the staff. I have enjoyed my time at Aspen.

This place gives hotel vibes. It is beautiful, clean and smells amazing. The staff were so helpful. I love that maintenance came to my unit and explained how everything worked (like the water flow censors). The apartment staff were equally amazing and helpful. Wonderful experience.

Beautiful apartments. Staff is courteous and helpful. Loving this luxury living. The lake is a great addition to this beautiful area. The geese can be a little frustrating but overall wonderful area to live in.
