Property Ratings at The Apartments at Oak Creek
Price seems good but roaches in all buildings, bad management, maintenance patches up things that will need to be fixed again and again. Kids can’t be outside and no where for them to play. Save yourself the head ache
mold in the apartments bad plumbing roaches also !!! the cost of renting this apartments is not worth it ! save your money and pay elsewhere office people do not cared ! to fix this issues !
I'm giving it 4 stars because I've only lived here for one month so I'll give you some pros. It had EXACTLY what I was looking for in an affordable apartment for me and my adult son. And at a price we could afford and believe me....I looked far and wide for just these accommodations and I am quite happy with them. We have 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a washer and dryer, and an upgraded kitchen. I have mobility issues and so needed a ground floor apartment and happen to get one on the end which I was happy about. The bedrooms are roomier than I expected and the living room is larger than some efficiency apartments I've seen. It even had some unexpected benefits....a dishwasher and a garbage disposal though I have yet to use the dishwasher. Some of the appliances look brand new so they are trying to make things nice here. It was also very clean. In our first few days we saw some roaches, just a few but I had expected them from the reviews I had read previously so we came armed....with roach bait, poison, and spray and now, we see only 1 or 2 a week, mostly dead already. There are children here but they're no bother, I just need to get use to hearing how loud they can play, it's been awhile. But we are satisfied so far and I will come back in a few months with an update, maybe I will give it 5 stars next time.
I've lived here for 8 years and have enjoyed living here very much. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with anything that I need. The location is great and close to everything. I highly recommend Oak Creek
First don't make the mistake to rent here, poor management, poor maintenance. When you report a broken thing on your apartment they take more than a month to come to fix it and last at the time you finish the contract you never get the security deposit back and you have to give them a 30 days notice before your lease expired otherwise they guess you're agree to continue with lease and keep you paying money. Be aware this people are fraud!!!
Been here. over three months. I have children of my own that live with me. And I've had family down to visit the past few weeks with their children. and the kids have been harassed the whole summer not just by other children .by grown adults in a very threatening manner at that. I have been around and I have seen quite a few scary people coming in and out of this place and there are few creepers that I'm concerned about. I've done walkthroughs every since I've moved in in the past couple months and see unusual things in one instance there's a male who goes to pool an watches children in a creepy manner. I have been told by several people who've been here multiple years to be aware of several individuals in all areas of this facility but, there are some specific spots that are not so good so I have decided to not let my children play outside and I have made reports and have asked that an Un marked patrol do drive-thrus as much as they possibly can. One reason being is the month I moved in here ..there was a shooting actually I heard about it after I signed all lease documents. Ive heard by other tenants some individuals who reside here .discuss gun violence as there way to scare folks-children.. so unless you're in law enforcement or able to legally posess or conceal firearms, or even have a husband or a roommate,or a good watch dog.. I would suggest you have one of those on your side you do not want to live alone in this place . As with any place there's going to be troubles but some places are worse than others .the staff I've not had a issue with the girls seem to be nice the maintenance seems to be nice it's the surroundings.
This place has a serious bug problem, as well as nothing gets fixed, unless you fix it yourself. Overpriced for what you get. Noisy neighbors that don't get kicked out. I am so disappointed with the apartment, that I am breaking the lease. Don't move here. It is worse than what you read about in Baypointe Apartments. I know, because I have lived there too, and now regret leaving. I wish that I have never moved here. Also, their plumbing pipes are broken, and leaking all fecal matter into canal behind the complex.
When I FIRST moved in it was bugs EVERYWHERE BUT they quickly fixed that problem.. My car was broken into just only being here for days and was told my the office manager that never happened on there property before YET ALL MY NEIGHBORS tell me different!! Lol cops were called everyday until they kicked out the people who were breaking into cars! It's been peaceful every since!! They are ok with time wise on fixing broken things..
The Apartments at Oakcreek, forgive it's needlessly pretentious name. Lived here for a few years now. Was a good deal when we moved in, offered a helpful special, and a handy washer/dryer that comes in unit, we liked that. Decent amount of space, decent quality construction. Amenities are normal for this type of community, pool, on-site maintenance, small business center with computers/printers for community use. All apartments are 2 bedroom one bath, most include the washer/dryer combo, a handful have recently gotten upgraded kitchens. Best part about this neighborhood to us is subject to change of course, but when we lived here it was beautifully quiet. Neighbors were friendly for the most part, kept to themselves. Few crazies sprinkled in as with any place, never had a major issue in my time here. Sleep doesn't always come easy to me, so not hearing your neighbors often was a huge plus. The cons? Market rate be damned, the place has gotten too expensive. It is a nice place but nowhere close to luxury, it is not worth the price the rent has reached. The maintenance team themselves are solid guys, the company that owns this joint is hit or miss. They seem more interested in selling units and upgrades than spending resources or time on helping current residences. Fixes sometimes take weeks and multiple reminders, sometimes have to skip the middlemen and talk with the maintenance staff directly. The place has a poor electrical system throughout, entire buildings lose power for hours at a time. Has happened at least ten times in my experience here, it's almost guaranteed during a bad storm, but has also gone out for no discernible reason on more than a few occasions. Plumbing is old, toilets back up sometimes, also drains clog more easily than they should. Don't get me wrong, I like it here, but we're right on that turning point. When this lease is up, if the rent goes up again or they don't make steps to increase the value of living here, or even offer us some kind of renewal incentive, it just won't be worth living here. If it was cheaper, this would be a fantastic place to live. Not just tolerable.
