We?re resided in the Thayer and Spring community for just over two years and have immensely enjoyed our stay. The property is absolutely lovely offering generous amenity spaces and modern apartment layouts. Management have been responsive and super helpful in facilitating move-in, apartment transfers etc and the building staff, concierge and maintenance are consistently warm, professional and effective. Pretty disappointed. I scheduled a walk through on my move out date with a Thayer & Spring staff member, no one showed up. They then billed me and took almost all of my security deposit, the note read "...may need to..." do something, as if they're not even sure what's wrong, but that they'll take my money for it. When you tour this place you'll fall in love with it. But, the elevators are often broken. There's high concierge turnover, so sometimes no one at the desk to help. It's SO loud in your apartment at night, especially if you are Georgia ave side (tbh I didn't mind this, since I stay up late and enjoy going out). You pay a premium, but you don't get a premium experience. And to take just about all of my security deposit? Pretty bummed. Won't be recommending to anyone. Hope other guests have a better experience.

Perfect apartment!
I love the location and the style of this community. It matches my personality and everyone is friendly. All the community amenities are beautiful and kept clean!
We had an issue on the first month of our move. Long story short - the leasing office made it right, and then some. My wife and I were scared to ask for help at first - we through our problem was ‘our problem’. We felt like a nobody in a great big building. When I finally asked for help at the leasing office - I was respected, listened to, offered a real and fair solution. Bottom line - My wife and I are a somebody - and you can be a somebody here too! Not everything can go smooth every time when you move - if it had to happen, I’m so thankful it happened to me moving in here. This is EXCELLENT customer service. (I know, I’ve worked in CS for years) Thank you Lauren!!! - Philip, Richard, everyone in the leasing office and front desk there!

Thayer & Spring is a nice place with the amenities they offer however there are bigger concerns that are alarming. For one if you live on the 3rd or 5th floor I would choose otherwise due to the insane smell of dog pee that has been lingering in the hallway for about a year and a half now. Management does not take action with any serious matters, I've advised them of the halls but they never follow up and have not done anything about it. Not to mention if you have a serious matter management goes dead, they will not respond to your request you have to continuously follow up with them.
I have lived in this building since October and it has been a pretty unpleasant experience. If you are in an apartment overlooking Georgia Ave, you hear tons of noise from the bars and it is very disturbing. It is not just the weekends, but almost every night of the week. I understand the apartment building does not have control of these places, but the management has not been helpful with dealing with the noises. I was also given no warning about the noise on Georgia Ave while I was touring and the apartment was grossly misrepresented. Aside from transferring to a much more expensive apartment, management refused to do anything. I have also had issues with loud neighbors within the building and there has been minimal action from management. I can live with the normal sounds as this is an apartment building but what goes on in this building is much more than what should be expected. It is a shame because the building is very nice, and that is why I gave it two stars, but the experience has been awful. There is no way I am renewing my lease.

nice looking building, but they want u to make an appointment and when u do they're not on time my appointment was at 100 and now its 118 and told me dante will be with me; and the frt desk person is not nice nor friendly. staff not professional at all.
