The main thing that makes Tanner Flats a great place to live is the responsiveness of the office personnel when you have a question, or need some assistance. They have gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The close proximity to public transportation is also a big plus. We love being able to get to places we frequent with such ease! The property is clean, aesthetically pleasing, and secure. We really like it here. A lot.

Tanner flats is a great place to live, I couldn’t think of any other place I could be. I’ve lived here a full year now and my son loves this neighborhood the school nearby is great, the max line, rooftop & community room & the gym wonderful. Wonderful units, staff and amenities. Prime location too!
If you move into Tanner Flats you will be valued and supported as a resident and person. The amenities are nice and the location is even better!
Tanner Flats is the perfect place to live in Portland. The location couldn’t be more convenient, the rent is average for the area, Dallen, Connor & Steve are responsive, friendly and professional. The quiet is nearly otherworldly, I can hear neighbor’s dogs barking in the hallway, I go into my apartment and I don’t hear a thing. The only reason why I wouldn’t recommend Tanner Flats to my friends and relatives is I value my privacy. You can bet though that if they ask me specifically about Tanner Flats I’ll highly recommend this place.
The awesome location and a hardworking staff make the Tanner Flats stand out. The managment and on-site crew are willing to communicate to help make the living experience work for you. Everyone will go out of their way to help the residents to live and learn.

My experience living at Tanner Flats is good so far. Maintenance Staff is quick to respond when contacted, and work request is done as fast as possible. I had problem with heater, the problem was fixed and clear and helpful instructions on how to use it were given to me. Now everything works great! A big thanks to Tanner Flats Management Staff.
Tanner flats is good! Everyone at the front desk goes out of their way to assist in anyway they can. I’ve personally lived here since 2016. I’ve asked the front desk repersentives for favors and help several times and every time they are more than willing to help! Though we still need to fit our car garage issues overall Tanner flats is a great place to live. Affordable. Clean and organized. That’s why i continue to live here!
I love living at Tanner Flats. The staff has a wonderful attention to detail. They are kind, helpful & courteous. I put in a work order and it’s fixed quickly & efficiently. We’ve lived here for 6mos and I seriously only have positive things to say.
This place is almost spookily quiet. My neighbors are all really considerate about keeping the noise down. I don't hear other's TVs or music or conversation. The staff is wonderful and friendly without feeling intrusive. The public areas are sparkling clean at all times. I'm so happy living here.

Tanner Flats is the perfect distance from everything going on in the city, rarely do we hear police sirens or yelling, just the humming of the train. It's right on the edge of it all, making it a lovely walk to any restaurants or events! The amenities are awesome, they offer a lot to the residents. The roof top lounge is our favorite, it has a fantastic view! The walls are very thick and I haven't heard a peep from any of our surrounding neighbors, it is exactly what we wanted. Quiet, relaxed living right next to the bustling city!

If youre looking for a quiet, stable, and clean apartment then Tanner Flats is the way to go! The management team has been so professional and gracious, fast to fix any issues I have to boot! This eco-friendly building is close to Burnside but far enough back to avoid a little more of the active city life and to me, it feels like the perfect blend!

Spring blossoms outside the window herald springtime Our great room IS great. Summer courtyard is green with lovely grass as we watch flicks 'neath the stars. Amazing Staff Great Apartments awesome neighborhood
I love being a tenant here! From day one, its been all open arms. The front staff has been so accommodating, especially during my move-in. Though my apartment is small, it is perfect for me. And I absolutely love the rooftop! It is quiet and safe, and has just the right amount of amenities. Not to mention the fantastic downtown location. Other than an extremely slow service request call on my washer (which did finally get resolved), my experience has been A-Number One!

Tanner Flats is a place that is well maintained, reliable, and supportive of its residents. The location and amenities always offer activities and adventures to go experience.
I have lived here for 3 years. I really enjoy the environment that everything are within walking distance such as soccer stadium, Fred Mayer, 23rd street and downtown and The Reuben in goose hollow inn is awesome !!
I've lived in at Tanner Flats for over a year and I'm very happy with the amenities, community, location and general feel of the building. I appreciate the energy efficient appliances, the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the building.
Honestly if you value the security of your family and want to feel safe in your home do not consider this apartment community. Sadly we were also were victims of this latest break-in at Tanner Flats on 2/2/19. And we are also going to have to spend hundreds of dollars out of pocket for insurance and loss of our items along with the monthly parking we pay here as residents. What makes this so aggravating is the negligence of management regarding the building security. For months now there have been a rash of break-ins by transients who are often intoxicated and aggressive. We have had packages stolen from our front door and been accosted outside the building as we were entering. The community bathrooms are often filled with cigarette butts, drug paraphernalia and broken Bird scooters. Many other residents have had similar experiences as well. It is very sad because the building is very nice and so are the tenants but the property management company and its staff is sadly unwillingly to listen to our pleas to increase security and fix broken locks on many of the entrance doors, which allowed this latest break in to occur. As other tenants have voiced we hope management will change its course, take responsibility for the cost of their negligence, and increase security immediately. Until then we also warn anyone considering this property as a residence to stay away as it is currently unsafe.

Hello, Hello, We value hearing your feedback and do apologize that you had this experience all around. We have been working hard to make improvements as we are committed to providing a comfortable home for all who choose to reside with us. We have made multiple improvements such as adding new cameras, installed key pad locks on the restroom doors, reinforced the rear pedestrian gate with steel plating, installed package lockers and doubled our security patrol all of which have elevated the overall awareness around the property. Again, we apologize that such an incident occurred, however after a collaborated effort between residents and our management team, these measures have proved themselves to be effective over the last several months. Extremely insecure building, unprofessional staff and negligence to keep residents safe. Key fobs do not work and they are closing the main garage door with zip ties. I was impacted by the theft that occurred today and there was no empathy at all from management. If security matters to you, tanner flats is not a good option.

In an effort to show our commitment to all who reside with us we have made many changes here at the Tanner Flats community. I recently needed to relocate to Portland. Jenna in the front office took her time to help me find the perfect apartment. She was helpful, friendly and walked me through the entire process. 10 minute walk from everywhere... Pearl... Downtown... Nob Hill / 21st/23rd NW. The office and maintenance staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make sure the residents are enjoying themselves and have everything they need. Your building neighbors are largely a mix of young professionals and families just starting out and I've found them to be generally good natured and friendly. The Goose Hollow Inn and Hof Coffee Shop across the street are pretty much the perfect neighborhood establishments, and much more isn't a far walk away. The neighborhood feels residential, and is a nice oasis in the city, right at the foot of Washington Park and the Rose Garden, but it's still close enough to make getting around convenient... especially with the MAX stop right outside the front door.

I absolutely love living here. The entire building is beautiful; the neighbors are super friendly; the staff is incredibly kind and professional; and it's a dog-lover's paradise! There are also lots of community events (brunch, "yappy hour", holiday parties, etc.), which are great - especially if you're new to the Portland area and don't know many people. I am so glad I chose Modera Goose Hollow as my home!
