With its emerald landscape and sparkling lake, the picturesque city of Lake Mills provides the ideal blend of lakefront living and quick commutes into nearby Madison, located just 25 miles west. The Glacial Drumlin State Trail extends through Lake Mills. This bike trail extends 52 miles from Waukesha to Cottage Grove. Whether on bike or on foot, this trail provides a fascinating landscape made up of drumlins (hills of rock that resemble teardrops, formed by glaciers as they move).
