Just outside Austin is the community of Mueller, where residents enjoy a short drive to downtown attractions and a 10-minute commute to the University of Texas at Austin. Its vast parks system is truly spectacular with a lot of comforting amenities. Mueller Lake Park is a sprawling 30-acre green space with paved trails, a scenic lake, and an amphitheater. Southwest Greenway is another peaceful park, encompassed by wildflowers and a giant sculpture.
The Mueller Airport Control Tower is a landmark within the community. The airport was Austin’s main travel hub for years until it was replaced by Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in 1999. The community’s proximity to Interstate 35 is extremely comforting for residents and students. Avid golfers enjoy the Morris Williams Golf Course, and residents find convenience in Muller Retail Center’s plethora of restaurants.

Property Ratings at SYNC at Mueller
Mueller itself is a wonderful place to live, unfortunately Sync @ Mueller is not a safe, secure option. This weekend, several cars were broken into and damaged. All we got from Sync was an email letting us know there is nothing they can do about it and our safety is our responsibility. Well, the gate has been broken for 2 weeks and the cameras in the parking garage do not work. My car got broken into INSIDE the parking garage and there is no evidence of who did it because there are no cameras. Guess where there are working cameras..... IN THE CLUBHOUSE. Of course there are cameras where Sync leaves their property. I would hope they would learn something from this but by reading reviews from months ago, I see they have learned nothing. We pay a lot of money to live at Sync. How about they use some of that for security. If they are unwilling to install cameras, then they should have security driving around at night. They are literally taking no steps to protect us or our belongings.

We appreciate your feedback and understand your frustration and concern over the recent vehicle break-ins in the area, unfortunately including our resident parking garage. We contacted neighboring communities and local authorities after learning of the incidents and learned that our community was not the only one affected that weekend. Crime has no address as they say and does sadly occur even in the nicest of neighborhoods. We do realize that having the gates open can make it easier for criminals to get in which is why we began working to have it repaired immediately upon our realizing it was broken, but gates cannot prevent this completely. Parking garage thefts unfortunately occur even when the gates are fully functioning. Still, we will always do our best to make sure that gates, cameras, and all other community features are working properly at all times. However, things do happen sometimes which cause us to have to make repairs which cannot always be completed immediately. In this case, someone hit the gate from the outside, causing fairly extensive damage, which could not be repaired on site. We hired a third party repair company and gave approval right away for them to pick up the gate and take it to be re-welded so that it can be reinstalled up as soon as possible. We are expecting this as soon as tomorrow. Regarding the cameras, we just became aware that the ones at the gate were not functioning and are working to get this issue resolved as well. We apologize if the email that was sent out came across in a way that was not intended. The purpose of that email was to inform all resident who may not already have been aware of the incident and encourage them to take steps to protect their belongings, such as removing valuables from their vehicles, keeping them locked, etc. While we are always concerned for our residents and their safety, it’s true that we can’t be held responsible for crimes that can and do happen from time to time, in any area. We will also be sending out another update to all residents today, letting them know that we have reached out to the community association for Mueller, which holds the responsibility for contracting security patrol for the neighborhood, to make them aware and ask that they alert all security personnel to ask that they keep an extra close eye on our community.
This is hands down THE BEST place I've lived in Austin! The office staff is so helpful and accommodating and the maintenance staff is very quick to respond to work orders. I feel like this is my home home instead of just an apartment I'm renting out. The residents here are so much fun and very friendly, I will be renewing my lease for as long as I'm living in Austin! I love that my cable and internet is built all into a monthly package, it makes moving in that much easier and one less thing I need to worry about. The property is always so clean and during the week you can see the maintenance team making sure that it's kept up by cleaning the hallways and pools, I even see people replanting flowers along the building. It's nice to live in a complex where the management takes pride in their property!

I love living here! The mainteance team is always very responsive with issues and the management team is the nicest I've ever worked with. The Mueller area is a great place to live and there's multiple dog parks around the area and beautiful walking trails. The monthly events are always so much fun and it's great to see how well everyone who lives here get along. I won't be leaving anytime soon that's for sure!
This place is filthy. Walls are paper thin and you hear people and unattended kids all day and night. Not to mention fire alarms going off for you to evacuate at all hours of the day and night. Beware. Would NOT recommend this place at all. Finishes are cheap for what they're charging per month.

I've been here since they originally opened and I absolutely love it. The mueller area is beautiful. The management team here is great and very timely. Only concern is the common issue of fire alarms going off very often and sometimes in the middle of the night but its usually only about 10 minutes or so, so we survive. We have a pretty noisy schnoodle but our neighbors oddly love her lol. Theres a dog park right behind the apartments, an huge park/pond accross the street. HEB walking distance. Thinkery walking distance and even a Farmers Market on sundays!! I love the up and coming Mueller area, I honestly dont ever want to live in any other area in Austin. Only thing to be concerned with is wear and tear in the apartment, things are kinda easily broken but maintenance is pretty quick so its not a major issue.

Randomly moving across the nation is scary. But my apartment is incredibly beautiful, well priced, and it makes me feel at home. Couldnt be more happy of how things turned out.

What turns out to be described as "free" internet really only means that you are contractually obligated to use Time Warner Cable, who charges you every month. Internet connection not great, seems to time out every night at 2am. Hallways are not kept as clean as they should be. Maintenance crew usually takes their time at addressing issues. Also fire alarm (which is the worst thing you've ever heard) has gone off 5 times since I've moved in. Usually takes at least a half an hour to get the thing turned off. (Only fire dept can turn it off apparently.) There are some doors throughout the building that don't seem to work ~ they just had a construction crew re-do the concrete around the bottom of the frame on one, didn't help that much. The exterior looks nice, and the location is good.
