The University of Tennessee is undeniably the focal point of Knoxville, and the school’s orange and white motif is everywhere. Largely thanks to the big student population, Knoxville’s nightlife scene is among the best in the region. Traditionally, the bars and restaurants along Cumberland Avenue - or "The Strip" – have been the preferred night spots in town; while The Strip remains popular, redevelopment in downtown and in the Old City has spread out the after-hours revelry. With so many students in the mix, the local rental market is packed with affordable options as well, so it’s easy to find a budget-friendly house, condo, or apartment just about anywhere in town.
But the city is much more than your typical college town, offering a charming environment surrounded by gorgeous hills and forests, with a generous helping of Southern personality. If boating is your thing, join famous Tennessee Vol Navy as they cruise the river behind Neyland Stadium on game days.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Sunrise Ridge
We had to move out of our apartment because of mold spreading throughout the unit, even onto my daughter’s mattress. On top of that, we had several issues with the HVAC system not working properly, which only made the moisture problems worse. The staff on site was rude and unprofessional, and management refused to take real accountability. Instead, they blamed us for “mismanaging” equipment, even though we followed their instructions. To make matters worse, they are not properly fixing the issue, just painting over it. The apartment was unsafe to live in, yet they still charged us rent. This shows how snake-like these companies can be. If you have a family, I would NOT move here. Be careful and think twice before signing a lease.
15 min from UTK campus and it's against traffic. 20 min from Costco. Spacious, cheap, and awesome staff. This looks like a fake review but I'm tryna give out my highlights. If my job location wasn't changing I'd renew today. Club House is sweet, I'll go watch football games down there with a blanket. Gym in a pinch is great (8 min drive from club 4 fitness). Walmart literally a stones throw down the road. All the fast food you could want is right down the road. If you're job is within like 20 min of this place I would go for it. Maddie at the leasing office answered all my spammy calls when I was waiting to get approved it was great dude. A lot of cute dogs here too. Only complaint about this place is that the trash by the compactor piles up over the weekends, and that you can sometimes hear other residents dogs through the walls. Neither are really big deals. Great place highly recommend. Dude the office brought in a hot dog stand one night and I almost ate myself to death.
