Summitwoods Apartments

I had the pleasure of living here from 04/23 to 04/24. Debbie and Cindy are amazing landlords - they are always reachable via text or email. There's a bus stop on top of the hill for kids, which is super convenient for parents. The maintenance guy, Lenny, has been there for years and runs a basketball league for kids and adults, which is amazing!!! The neighbors were always super friendly, and I highly recommend this place to anyone considering a move to Norwich!

I've been a resident at Summitwoods for just over a year, and I feel it's only fair to give these apartments a well-deserved five-star shoutout. It isn't brand new, but there's a certain charm here that's made my stay quite comfortable. It's refreshing to find somewhere that's affordable, especially given today's housing market. One of the biggest perks for me is the quiet neighborhood, which is great when working remotely. The management team, Debra, Cindy, and Len, really make a difference. They're not just doing a job; they genuinely care. They're always ready to help out and are quick to respond to any issues, making sure everyone's experience here is as good as it can be. In short, Summitwoods is a great find for anyone looking for a cozy, affordable place that's run by people who actually pay attention to their residents.

I lived here for a year and the only reason I’m leaving is due to family issues. Otherwise I would stay here forever. Deborah and Cindy are an amazing team. The property is very well-maintained. Everyone who lives there is respectful of each other’s property. All that they ask’s is you treat it like your own home because it is. One of the best things about summitwoods dr is that everything is 5 to 10 minutes away, great place to for families just starting or with older kids park is walking distance. I would recommend summitwoods dr apartments to anyone.

My family and I lived here for 5 years, these apartments are located in a great neighborhood close to everything you need. also very spacious, and well-maintained. The management team is always responsive and helpful. I never had any problems. The neighbors are friendly and respectful.

Although we were there for a short time we enjoyed our time at Summitwoods. I loved the 2 bathrooms especially with having 2 children. It was a quiet and safe area. They have a small playground that my oldest son enjoyed.

Well maintained apartments with very responsive staff. Nice layout and the option if laundry hook ups or using the laundry room. Has A/C window sleeve/hookup, but A/C is not included. Really nice location near many restaurants and stores.

Lived here for 2 years on 3rd level 1 bedroom apartment and really have no complaints. The place is clean and fairly up to date. Parking is ample and in general the location is quiet and neighbors are respectable. Only moved out to follow an educational path that required living at home. Deb and Cindy in property management were reasonable to work with and responsive to communications.

Deb and Cindy are wonderful to work with. Rules are fair and the apartments are quiet and away from the noise of Norwich. About 10 minutes away from Mohegan, 15 from Foxwoods. Affordable, clean, and spacious - hard to complain about.

I've lived here for 11 years and I love my apartment! There's enough space for everything, storage space is amazing, haven't seen that much space anywhere else. Love the 1.5 bathroom and wachine machine and dryer hook ups. It's quiet, in a perfect location, close to downtown and the most popular basketball court in town ( which my son loves :)). The area is always clean and well maintained.

The location of this complex is perfectly situated, peaceful and quiet. The new washer dryer setup is awesome. Ms Churchill and her team are good people’s. Would stay if I could but retirement calls. R/Victor Enriquez

Beautiful location on top of hill, peaceful living. Apartments are spacious and great layouts. Manager is very accommodating, rules can be tough but easy if you everyone follows them. Love living here!!

Let me start by saying I wasnt going to write this bc i dont typically leave bad reviews. But, I want to save people from a major headache! If I could rate the apartment complex and management separately I would. I have talked to many people there and didn't meet a single one who liked it there. The apartments are nice and maintened well...but at the renters expense. You get charged and fined for EVERYTHING! You want a door mat...sure, but we'll fine you if we think its too dirty. Want a handle tightened due to normal wear and tear...we'll send maintenance and try to charge. Oh...and don't forget, we'll charge on hearsay too. Somebody tells them you left trash or feed cats, we'll add that to your bill too. YES every single one of those things actually happened! I know a lot more as well. You have 1 week to replace blinds. Management goes around at least once a week in her car checking windows and parking lots. They will tow any car not registered or that's there more than an allotted # of days. You have a family...well, you'll be paying extra for a 2nd parking space as you only get 1. All they want is your money... They will charge absurd fees and make you clean everything before leaving so that they can pay cleaners very little because they barely have anything to do. Kids have crappy playgrounds and that's it. ..You can't stand on your balcony, talk within 20 feet of the building. If you want a quiet place where you only go to sleep, then sure. But if you have kids...especially little ones...don't do it. Plus the cost is getting out of hand...rent went up $300 a month ober 2 years! Insane!! Let's just say, when I was moving out, every single renter said...good for you...and all I was doing was renting a different place. I read reviews AFTER moving in. Let's just say that I wish I did it before because the majority of people who have written reviews have similar thoughts than mine and they are 100% true!

Quiet and peaceful apartment living.No thru-traffic.Friendly neighbors. Beautiful grounds and buildings very well maintained-both inside and out. Management staff-Deborah and Cindy are courteous, accommodating and helpful. Couldn't be happier to be a resident of Summitwoods.

Theres no place like Summitwoods dr apartments..love it??. Great management courteous and pleasant.. Modest apartments and. Beautiful plan settings.. Thanks to the manager for keeping the environment safe and clean???. I highly recommend Summitwoods apartaments to everyone.
