The downtown heart of Escondido, Central Escondido, is an artistic blend of historic and new. It’s the location of the city’s oldest park, Grape Day Park, and the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. The brick-paved sidewalks that line Grand Avenue run past a variety of boutiques, gift shops, and bakeries. Maple Street Plaza, located off Grand Avenue, is an esplanade that hosts events. Other great destinations in Central Escondido include the San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum and the Escondido History Center, which features a historic Victorian farmhouse complete with weathervane.

Property Ratings at Summer Creek Apartments
Save your money and live somewhere else. They are high priced for cheap stuff. Everything is so cheap and breaks. Plus they have ROACHES. We lived in 1 unit, no roaches, moved to another, ROACHES. Plus the lady’s in the office are rude & act like they hate there job & take it out on the residents. Please don’t live here. Parking is a nightmare as well & the laundry room is always filthy.

We take pride in community and tenants are our number one priority. If you would have brought any issue to our attention while you lived here, it would have been taken care of instead of writing this review after you were evicted. We value all the feedback received by tenants so we can make this community a home that you are proud to live in. All apartments are assigned one covered parking spot, and the laundry room is cleaned often.
A resident since last 4 yrs,had moved from a community which had privately owned apts. The landlord never bothered to fix issues in the unit even though I paid my rent in advance.Me being a single mom of my 8yr old son never felt safe there. I was so relieved when I got a call from the apt mngr Dana at Summer Creek informing me of a vacant unit here.I moved in asap even though the rent was high for me.Within couple of months I realized that every penny I paid was so worth it! All my issues were taken care of the same day and it was such a safe,clean community to live in!! Apt mngr Dana & Norma are so courteous,friendly and helpful.And not to forget the magical maintenance guy Abraham who fixes everything with a smile.I wish the management all the best always!!Love,love,love them :)
