Property Ratings at Sugarloaf Summit
It's ok we have been here a long time. Miss the business and laundry before the upgrade of the leasing office which was ok. We need more community events and food trucks.
Overall, the community is safe, no complaints about feeling secure in your apartment or having items delivered to you. The biggest localized issue for me are the loud inconsiderate neighbors that live above me and stomp on the floor at odd hours of the day for reasons unknown to me. I really loathe being woken up after a long day at midnight. Also, the recent wave of Fines levied at residents in June, including me, for filling up their trash bags beyond the limits of the tiny can that Affinity provides (which is deemed "Excessive") is ridiculous. I take the trash myself to the dumpster instead to avoid such nonsense. The breezeways aren't cleaned as frequently as they used to be and are dirty with dirt and bugs. I question if the stated "once every Thursday" pest control is being performed because insects frequently appeared when they didn't before even in the prior summer seasons, I've resorted to performing my own pest control treatments around my unit.
Overall I would rate it a 6/10. Staff are working on slight problems with the pool. Many people who don’t live there come and dirty/crowd the area. I noticed people who don’t live here come to charge their cars for free. I like the staff though they’ll work on the problems if you come to them about it

My experience with Sugarloaf Summit Apartments is great I enjoy living in this neighbourhood. It’s too good we end up renewing our lease. I recommend Sugarloaf Summit if you like up scale luxury place to live in yet is affordable

I recently requested a repair on my air conditioning unit, and the person that came was amazing! He identified the issue right away and fixed it in matter of minutes. Previously, maintenace was awful, but now it seems to have improved tremendously.

My move in process was smooth. I love my unit and the community is quiet even with Sugarloaf Mills being right behind it. My only complaint is that if you are a taller person, the counters and the refrigerator feel so low to the ground.

Overall, very pleased with my experience living in the community for past two years. I enjoy the relative quiet and peaceful environment, in addition to the amenities. I feel safe, comfortable and secure and neighbors are very respectful. Management is responsive to addressing issues, especially when it comes to issues with the entry gates and trash collection, no problem goes neglected for long. Location next to I-85 and being close to Sugarloaf Mills along with Mall of Georgia is an added bonus.

Great community, easy access to the mall, great staff, on time maintenance, safe, clean and well complex. I myself don't be home a lot due to work but whenever I'm home it's pretty much quiet and peaceful.

My Neighbors like to leave their trash bags on the bare floor of the hallway and face no consequences but I get charged $25 for not tying my trash bags in a knot

Nice community. Has valet trash. Quiet for the most part. Great pool, that is cleaned on a regular basis. Wish they would upgrade the washer and dryers in the units to something that is more efficient.

Property well maintained. Pool is clean and well taken care of. Anytime there are issues with the gates to the community, the office resolves the issue quite quickly. Nice and quiet for the most part.

Management does not respond to emails in a timely fashion. There have been issues with apartments smelling like weed from inconsiderate neighbors smoking inside.

The complex is not like it was when I moved here in 2018. Since ownership changed it seems to be going downhill. The common areas aren't cared for like before. We are charged a monthly amenity fee, which should be be a part of the rent. The new company seems to care very little about the community and it's upkeep.

Sugarloaf Summit is a great place to live! I love our apartment. The complex is very pet friendly and the amenities are great. It is also very secure.
Very nice community excellent service and good apartment leasing staff is corporate and everything is near that apparent food, schools and highway shopping malls
Since moving in, the community has been so nice and people have been welcoming. I love walking around with my dog and seeing the neighbors walking too.
Great place. Shan is wonderful and makes the moving process easy. A couple communication hiccups in the beginning, but was quickly resolved and the whole staff is very polite.
Minor issues so far but it’s way better than my last apartment. I feel like I’m living in luxury compared. Everyone seems friendly and community manger is very responsive

Gated New apartment with new amenities like washer and dryer, breakfast nook, refrigerator, big living room, main bedroom is large, big closet, restroom ceramic, patio with a view, office has big space for relaxing and coffee for residents! Also have a swimming pool with grills if you ever want to grill burgers or hot dogs while dipping in the pool! The best apartment!:)

Nice view from apartment, above the pool. Pool cleaned on a regular basis and it’s a saltwater pool so you don’t smell like chlorine! Pretty landscape, always mowed and well taken care of.

Would not recommend anyone to waste their hard working money on living here. Cannot wait until my lease is up! Staff, don’t respond back to emails, maintenance team don’t know how to fix anything. Walls are thin. If your neighbor breathes loud you’ll hear them. Good luck, if they have kids or dogs!

I've been renting for a long time and have come across many companies but I haven't seen anything like this. Michelle was my agent and she exceeded my expectations by taking me as a walk-in, providing consistent communication, professionalism, and most of all, her humble and humility attitude. From seeing the actual unit, using Updater, move-in day, and the days afterward, I could not be any happier. Finally, get to settle and live comfortably as a long-term resident at my new place! A nice perk is that you can just walk across the street to the mall!

Very pleased with my stay here at Sugarloaf Summit for over a year. It's a quiet and safe community (many dogs bark but you get used to it as it's white noise). There was recently a change in Management six months ago and things have only improved. One perk that could be improved is the coffee machine in the Cafe, it is often empty or has a technical issue.
