Nestled approximately 13 miles north of downtown San Antonio in the far north-central part of the city, Arboretum offers proximity to recreation and historic attractions, along with a peaceful, quiet neighborhood atmosphere. Most of the residences and apartments were built between 1970 and 1999, giving the neighborhood a relatively modern feel with plenty of character.
A low crime rate and excellent schools contribute to the neighborhood's allure. Residents have access to numerous nearby shops, restaurants, and the spacious McAllister Park. This is a fantastic area in which to raise a family, thanks to nearby sports fields, libraries, and stores. Along Arboretum’s eastern border you’ll find popular neighborhood spots like Pepe’s Tacos, which makes it easy to enjoy a night out without venturing into the city. McAllister Freeway is nearby, however, should you need to head into Downtown San Antonio.

Property Ratings at Stratton Park Apartments
I’ve been here less than three months. The unit was not cleaned between tenants and for some reason it smells like a dumpster in here 24/7. The roach problem is completely out of control. They won’t tell you this when you sign the sign the lease, but there is effectively NO AC in these units. Two weeks ago, our mailboxes were vandalized and they still haven’t been fixed, so I’m going to have to pay for a PO BOX. This apartment is way too expensive for what you get, especially considering all of the added costs of having to fix things yourself.
AC broken, they said they’ll come when they can. It’s summer, in Texas. It’s too hot to not have a working AC. They don’t change air filters, do pest control or even pick up trash on the floor but yet you pay for all those amenities every month. So many scorpions and spiders. Trash is everywhere! I can go into more details but I’m hoping they will somehow fix all these problems immediately. I will definitely follow up this review
The townhome part is horrible never come and look at property the landscape company is terrible and the weeds,grass which is City property critters come out.
I just moved in to Stratton and it’s been great so far! Celene made my transition nice and smooth. She was very kind, professional and attentive. When I mentioned a minor problem during my move in, Celene and Robert got right to it! Good to have such a wonderful staff on the property!!
Just started renting, I have had a great experience. Front office is very helpful Brenda and Isabel go the extra mile to help out. Thank you for the great experience and very smooth transition for moving.
I am a current resident and this place is lovely. Quiet, clean, friendly neighbors and management. Isabel the manager is very attentive and friendly. There is plenty of parking. The location is easy to 281 and Wurzbach PKWY. LOTS of storage space in the apartment. The patio also has a very good size storage with shelves. I have lived in other apartments and this is by one far my favorite!
I've been here since August and my AC don't work more than a few weeks and I'm left days or a whole weekend without AC due to they don't work on Weekends but they want the rent on time
The staff and maintenance crews are lazy and do not care about their residents. During my last year living here my apartment started flooding and my ceilings were leaking. It took weeks to get someone to clean up my wet carpet (they didn't even replace the stinky mildew carpet, just dried it)and they never got back in touch with me about the ceilings or any of the other problems the apartment had. They made no effort to contact me or see if everything was going alright, even after I went to the office and called them several times. They just kept putting it off and putting it off. I finally gave up and found another place to live. I really hope they fix that apartment before renting it out to another unfortunate resident.
It's not worth my time complaining about this failed complex, failed investment company who purchased the complex or the incompetent apartment manager. A word of advice, stay away.
I don't typically write reviews online but I couldn't help myself. The units are old and office is not accommodating. The manager on duty should be fired. I condiser myself an excellent no problems tenant who was run off by complete incompetence.
Recently renovated? I don't think so. Don't waste your time.
Words cannot express my disappointment with this apartment complex. . . . . Old units. Dirty. Very loud, high CPS bill and dishonest staff. I am very laid back and accommodating, but this is ridiculous.. Never will I rent with Robbins property again.
To briefly sum up this apartment complex: Very poor management. Dirty. Very loud. Roaches. Great parking. The stove was probably 20 years old. Old old old and no one will help with anything! It's a place to live as a last resort..
This place is absolutley in a perfect spot between my school and work... The staff, especially lauren at the front desk is very helpful and friendly! Just moved in and i feel so welcomed, im about a week in put in a work order form in yesterday and today everything was fixed :) so pleased. Thank you.
The location is ideal to all the fine dining and nightlife and there is an amazing park 5 minutes away , The staff is super friendly and despite the managament changes through the years it has remaine consistent with great service , well kept apartments, and a very fast and efficient maintenance team. The best part is its small and quite , there is hardly any riff raff around if it all and I have only seen the police out here oncd or twice in the five years I have lived here. I think thats mainly due to a police sub station right aroud the corner so they are fast to respond to emergency. All around a fantastic choice , and the airport is less than 5 minutes away as well .
My fiancee and I relocated here from Austin and so far we love it! Office staff is very helpful and friendly. Any maintance problems we have experienced have been handled in a timely and professional manner. Dog friendly and a VERY peaceful complex, few tenants with children no parties or loud music blaring. You forget that it's located on a main street. Great location. Minutes from 410 1604 281 and wurzbach freeways an HEB is less then a mile away and so is McAllister park!
