Property Ratings at Strathmore Apartments
CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH the property management company is the WORSE..... DTE bill won't be consistent with other tenants, management is doing something fishy. The appliances are not energy star efficient, expect ridiculous bills unless the manager likes you. Oddly the tenants the he prefers have lower energy bills, they do not allow DTE to come out and weatherize your unit. Why not, probably because they are hiding something. The property manager does not want a tenant association formed, they will go out of their way to retaliate & harass anyone that tries to connect with other tenants. I reported a maintenance issue back in May, the building manager refused to allow the employee to come check it out, now there is crazy "environmental growth" in my apartment Oh if you post anything on facebook, they remove the post and then block you The regional manager is no help either, he does not address the problems caused by his employee. So sad that a such historic building is not maintained properly

Our maintenance team works very hard to maintain the property to ensure it is attractive and comfortable for all residents and guests. The building is beautiful but unfortunately your electrical bills will range from $200-$400 a month! Doesn't matter how many things unplug. Additionally the management's attitude towards helping is dismissive at best. I've heard that other tenants have had to email his boss just for him to do anything.
The Strathmore's walls and windows are poorly insulated. My electrical bill went from ~$80.00 in the summer/spring to over $400.00 during the winter months. Efficient heating units add no value if you cannot keep the heat in.
