Residents are responsible for payment of heat and electricity, and optional cable tv. Management charges a $125, non-refundable, administrative fee that is related to our internal and administrative costs for the establishment of a resident file, and preparation of initial lease paperwork and related addendums. This administrative fee must be paid, in addition to the payment of first months rent, any pro-rated rent, or any deposit that might be required on the day of move-in

Property Ratings at Straight River Apartments, LLC
These apartments are a nightmare, when my fiancé and I first moved in 2 years ago roughly, it was actually not too bad except for the EXTREMELY thin walls/ceilings! You can hear everything from your neighbors through the walls and then if you have people above you, your lights will constantly rattle and shake when they are walking above you. Recently, this place is starting to become infested with Roaches! Management doesn’t care either, all they did was change garbage services and cleaned the garage in hopes of solving the roach issue. These apartments are cheaply constructed and just filthy, they are WAY overpriced for how terribly they were built, especially because our units windows were never caulked when we moved in until we had issues with them and the maintenance guy said they were never even caulked! Our floor boards are starting to come unglued in multiple areas. Our kitchen sink has leaked terribly twice within 4-6 months apart, our dryer eats and rips our clothes, the garage spots are outrageously overpriced at $110/month extra! It’s not even worth that especially cause the garage doors are always breaking and need to be fixed! I could just go on and on about this place and why I would NEVER recommend anyone to this place!
I had an extremely disappointing experience living in this apartment complex. One night, my car windows were broken, and parcels were repeatedly stolen from the lobby. The management does absolutely nothing until things spiral out of control, leaving residents to suffer significant losses. The rent is outrageously high for the quality of the apartment, which feels cheaply constructed and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, they charge an exorbitant fee for garage space. While the garage is an optional add-on and not part of the original lease, they refuse to allow cancellation after opting in, which is unreasonable. Residents should have the flexibility to cancel optional services like garage rental with at least a month's notice. Overall, the apartments are overpriced for the locality, and the management’s lack of accountability is frustrating. I highly recommend avoiding this complex and even this city there are far better options in nearby areas. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere!
Rent is too high, and the apartment quality is very cheap theres always problem with some plumbing. The walls are so thin you can hear all sort of things. Ceilings always move when someone above you walks little bit faster. Avoid this property
