Stonepointe University Place

I recently moved in to my apartment at Stone Pointe and I could not have have asked for better help from Taya and Lidiya in the Leasing office. They have gone over and above to make the move -in a positive experience! A big thank you to both of them!

StonePointe is a safe and well-maintained community in a very safe area. It is close to recreational and many business sites. It is pet friendly and sustainability is strong focus. Management is very responsive, and the maintenance team works diligently to resolve tenant issues. Really enjoy living here.

I want to give a big thanks to Jaime and Taya in the office. They are really awesome. I stop in the office regularly just to chat with them to say hello they are truly a ray of sunshine and have helped create a very positive living experience for us here at Stone Point! Thank you so much!

StonePointe Apartments is a great place to live. Wonderful management and maintenance crew; and so far what I can see... good neighbors. It's a place that treats it's residents with dignity and understanding. I love this community!!

As far as I know, the rent price is different between a place with a gate and a place without a gate. There is a gate at Stone Point, but it seems to be always open more than it is closed.

I have been here a little more then a year and it seams like the gate has been broken more then it has worked over that time. It would be nice of they would upgrade the gate to a new system that isn't from the 90's.

WARNING TO ALL WHO WANT TO LIVE HERE. Me and my boyfriend moved in in August. We were not able to see the apartment before moving in. Upon living there once it got more damp outside the truth came out. HORRIBLE MOLD problem. The whole apartment smells musty and now we smell like that. The windows and sliding glass door always have condensation and makes the bottom tray of the windows filled with water that we have to soak up constantly and keep a fan running on them to help. Shoes in our bedroom closet grew a bunch of mold on them, as well as mold growing through the paint in the kitchen. We contacted management about it and they said they would replace the bedroom window but refuse to do anything else unless we pay $400 more for a smaller apartment.We now had to buy two air purifiers and a dehumidifier to constantly run to help even though it doesn’t really. Me and my boyfriend have been to the doctors 3 times for mold allergy problems. We also contacted Graystar who owns StonePointe and they said there’s nothing they can do for us and sent me a “how to prevent mold in your house” sheet. Telling us in winter time that we just need to ventilate our apartment better by opening the windows and doors. It’s very sad to pay so much for a apartment that it’s toxic for you to be In and they don’t care.

StonePointe is a great community. It's centrally located to super markets and other essential businesses. It's super close to Chambers Bay, if you love to go for walks. And, the common areas and grounds are always clean, perfectly landscaped and beautiful. Best of all, we have an indoor pool, which I use a lot. I absolutely love living here.

My children and I, are grateful to live in a community with an excellent team managing and maintaining the property. Thank you for listening to concerns and responding quickly. My family enjoys our home here :)

StonePointe is a wonderful community. I have had only a couple of maintenance requests in my time here and both were dealt with promptly and professionally.

Moving in was easy and I've been in love with my apartment space and the community it's surrounded by. I also love how quick staff are to respond to me and my questions and maintenance requests are done in a very timely manner.

The gronds are well keep, it quite, close to stores with in walking distance also 2 great bus routes!

I have just renewed my lease for another year at StonePointe. My daughter and I love living here. This complex really goes above and beyond for its tenants. They care about our safety and well-being. I'm very happy being a resident.

My daughter and I love living at StonePointe. The grounds are very well cared for, and the rental office and maintenance teams are excellent - very customer service focused, friendly, considerate, and professional. The apartments are safe and in a great community with many amenities. We love the central location, and its nearness to Chambers Creek.

I have lived at Stonepointe since 2016 and it is a very nice community. I havent had any issues of disturbance and the office staff especially Jamie are so helpful and kind even when things have been chaotic on my end they are very understanding and always help as soon as they are able.

Great living everything was made super easy to move in and the people around me cant be any nicer.

This complex is kept clean and regular maintenance done. However, this was our 4th flood in this apartment in 3 1/2 years! Thats excessive. Need to correct old pipes and water issues!!

It's been a pretty poor apartment experience if I am being honest. From contract issues to repairs, wouldn't recommend.

Apartments are very nice & well kept. Sometimes could be better inside the apartment like cabinets needs to be installed the correct way.

I have been a resident of Stone Pointe for just over a month and have loved every second of it.

Overall living environment is good and safe.

I just recently moved in and conducted the initial inspection. After identifying a couple deficiencies, the housing office immediately sent someone over to help fix the issues identified. They notified me beforehand that they would come over when I wasnt home which was perfect since I was taking care of other obligations. When I got back home later in the day, the maintenance team left a note of the issue and what they did to fix it. Thank you all for the timely response and making my move in smooth.

Quiet neighborhood, the staff are very helpful and friendly and the apartment is really nice!

Garbage for management, stay away

Lovely, relaxing place to live. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Location is central to everything in University Place and Tacoma. Really enjoy it here.

Stone Pointe is an attractive place to life but has issues.

The beginning of my move-in process seemed smooth, and I was very excited about the renovated unit I was going to move into. However, after the office not giving me a great opportunity to see the actual unit before moving in, I realized quickly after I did move in that I had been taken advantage of. Now its been two months of requesting my unit be repaired to the condition I expected it. Including a master toilet that actually worked properly, it took two months to get that repair done. I would be very cautious moving here - ask a lot of questions about what condition the move-in units will be compared to the renovated model unit they show you on the tour. Its a big difference, trust me!

Very family friendly!

I have only lived here a short time thus far but I greatly enjoy it. I enjoy the neighborhood and everyone that I have encountered has been great. Tyson is awesome and all of the other personnel have been great too.

If you’re considering moving to an apartment steer clear of StonePointe apartments. The WORST apartments I have ever lived in. And I have lived in some GHETTO apartments. They are upping the rent $400 a month for a four month lease OR OVER DOUBLING FOR A MONTH TO MONTH LEASE. They won’t budge or help me even though I stated I needed to move out 1.5 months after my lease expires. Review: “When I moved in it was great. Now they never answer phones, late opening the office, pool and hot tub not working or closed quite often, send rude letters to the buildings. Some of the maintenance men are cool but one yells at the garbage and cusses. Quite uncomfortable. Sure they threw on new paint and fixed the gutters but the management went downhill and the front office people are lazier than before. UPDATE. They are charging MORE money for LESS service! When I originally signed my lease before the apartments transferring owners I was told as long as I kept my lease I wouldn’t have to pay more because it’s not renovated. Now I have the following notice on my door. Keeping in mind this is TWO MONTHS before I am moving out of state. They also are increasing utilities. The dumpsters are always full they never answer phones and they expect premium pricing. WORST APARTMENTS IVE EVER LIVED IN. BEWARE.”
