The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Stonecliffe
I really enjoyed living at Stonecliffe for the past two years! Super clean, friendly staff, reasonably priced and have a very nice and clean pool! Favorite part of the apartment is the brick wall and my patio, also the pool! I would highly recommend! The whole apartment is very spacious and they have a few different styles you can choose from! Very quite as well but still had friends over for get togethers and it was nice! I’ll miss it very much! Also close to Target, Giant Eagle, all the other shopping centers and restaurants! Close to most of the major roads too like the turnpike and 376! Set back in off the road also plenty of parking
Lived here for 2 full leases, 23 months. Quiet, friendly area. People mind to themselves. Plenty of parking. Convenient location to town. I recommend the property.
Although most of my interactions with the staff at Stonecliffe have been pleasant, their actions demonstrate a lack of professionalism and I would expect much more from such a highly regarded living community. I sent them an email about my deposit, after not being offered an apartment, and they didn’t even bother to respond. They willingly took $600 from my bank account, and once I wasn’t “qualifiable” for them, they ignore you like you are yesterdays trash. As a nurse, and a professional, I find practices such as this very discouraging, and I am thankful that I will be doing business elsewhere.
On move in day we found out that Carpet was filthy, closet was broken, kitchen cabinets have stains and dirt everywhere, nails exposed everywhere in the apartment, sockets not working, bathroom has problems. Do not move here.
I have lived in Stonecliffe Apartments for 6 years, going into the 7th year. The efficiency and response time of the office and maintenance staff has deteriorated over the years to a point where they point blank refused to perform maintenance requests. The apartments are old and when upgrades are requested on appliances that are too old, they are refused. There is pest issue as well in my block which the management did nothing to take care of. I had to pay from my own pocket for pests that came into our apartment from I don't know where. We are definitely moving out of Stonecliffe as soon as this lease term ends.
I usually don't write reviews, but I thought I'd write one for this place. My only hope is that they have hired more front desk personnel, but I realized that there is a personnel shortage. You could tell that the property manager put his heart and soul into this place, even though I never met him. Maintenance requests were always handled quickly and efficiently. I had gotten locked out of my place twice, they did help me, and didn't charge me even though they were supposed to. The only problem I had was that the drive to Pittsburgh was just too much, but if you can live in Monroeville, you won't get anything better for the price. I had gotten my full security deposit back, but there are some residents who stated they got charged a carpet cleaning fee after moving out.
This is the second time I've rented at this property and the reason I came back is simple, I can't find anything else like it in this price range. The staff here takes great care in maintaining the landscaping and they're quick to respond to a service request in a unit. The neighbors are for the most part quiet and always respectful. While I would prefer more modern kitchen and bathroom fixtures, those installed are very neutral and easy to decorate over. The exposed brick wall in the living room really separates this property from others in this price range as do the well cared for swimming pool and tennis courts. My safety and security were big factors when I was looking for a rental property as a single young woman. I have always felt safe here as opposed to other places I've visited. The other residents all appear to be respectable people (I always look at the cars in the lot, if a brand new luxury car lives at a place like this, something shady is usually going on.) I never see any strangers roaming around and, the front door locks tightly with an intercom system for guests. I've lived here a combined total of 6 years and until I can afford a downtown luxury condo, I think I'll stay!
