Stone Creek Ranch is such homey and welcoming environment. The grounds are always so well-kept and it is a quiet community. The office staff are very kind, friendly, and helpful. The units are spacious and I love that a washer and dryer are included in all units. Stone Creek is also in a great central location in town. I’ve been very pleased with my experience here thus far.

The apartments are beautiful and the grounds are kept very well, however: I emailed management regarding other reviews that said the walls are thin and you can hear a lot from other people's apartments. I was told that is absolutely not true, but while living there I could hear normal conversations from my downstairs neighbors. The package system was a pain - I would get no notification that there was a package for me at the office, and thus would have to go in and check just in case. It is a gated community, however the gate was just stuck open for several months at the end of the time I lived there. Even when the gate was working, it was easy for a line of cars to enter after the first car. The worst of my issues, however, was my move out. While updating my future address with office staff, I asked if we should set up a time to walk through the apartment together and was told, "No it should be fine." When I received my deposit check from Stone Creek Ranch, however, there were $110 worth of charges, including $60 for a steam clean of the carpets, $10 for new drip pans, and a $35 charge for "cleaning." I called to ask what all of these charges were about (they were vague on the sheet), and was told that someone would call me back later that day (it was a Saturday) or Monday. It took about 6 days for someone to get back to me (after I called them) and they said I "did a good job cleaning the apartment, but the fees were standard." There is NO mention of such fees in my lease agreement. All it says in the lease is that "if you do not clean adequately, you'll be liable for reasonable cleaning charges - including charges for cleaning carpets, draperies, furniture, walls, etc. that are soiled beyond normal wear..." I then contacted the Robert Seabury Company (the company that owns Stone Creek Ranch) and was told that Elizabeth told me about the charges upon move out and that I was still responsible for the charges. I moved out on a Sunday and was not given a walk through with management, so she lied about that. I am now in the process of contacting the North Texas Rental Properties Association about these issues. I have been very disappointed with how I have been treated regarding these matters, so I would definitely say to potential renters, be aware of the charges you may receive at move out.
