Only been a week but so far so good. It’s very well maintained. The outside landscape is good. Deja in the office is wonderful and very informative. Can’t wait to check out the pool and fitness room.
Love the place and community. Wish the marketing center was open faster so residents could access all amenities. Also the guest parking situation could be better.

We're paying for amenities like the pool and the clubhouse, and we can't use them. The clubhouse has been under repair since November 2024, and the pool hasn't been open for a month.

We are certainly disappointed that we had to shut down the clubhouse and pool during our renovation project, but are more than excited that we have everything opened back up in time for Summer so that we are all able to utilize the space again! Overall, I feel satisfied but my only complaint would be the lack of availability when I have a request. Often the phone is unanswered. Other than that I feel happy!

Good apartment, yet management team is just fine. They try to make things convenient for them at the cost of their residents. So if you leave here, you have to pay a lot extra. Also, the maintenance is not very responsive. This place has safety issues that last for almost a year, yet the management team do nothing though several residents has asked them.
Steelworks is a great place to live! It feels safe, and it is close to everything needed. The people are friendly and helpful. The property management changeover was a little hairy, but it's all good now.
Great community. Maintenance is pretty reliable. Nice amenities, pool and clubroom are nice and always clean which is nice to have in an apartment.
As a student, I can say that this is a nice location to stay, with Target/Publix/Atlantic Station just a walk away. I had some initial issues with my utilities (eg. valet trash), but Deja at the front office helped me sort them out! She also helped a lot during the whole leasing process, and was quite responsive. Fetch being mandatory feels like a little bit of an inconvenience, since it's not locker-based - packages go to a warehouse from where you decide when to get it home-delivered, which adds time to your delivery timeline. (Will update as applicable)
Living at Steelworks is quite safe and sound. I love the apartment complex, it's quiet, calm, and perfectly located. The location of the apartment is so close to all the convenience stores. Plus, the best part about the apartments here are their huge sizes. Its worth the money!
It is good so far. Havent had any issues. Management are the sweetest people. They have been very helpful to me since my move in date. Helped me with all the issues I had.
Smooth moving in process. Staff assisted me from the beginning making my transition a breeze. Thanks again to the staff for the assistance.
So far so good. But have been busy with moving in, not have fully investigated the building yet. Looking forward to visit club room, gym as well as the pool.
We just moved in this week and got an apartment with lot of cockroach infestation. And by lot I really mean a lot - everywhere from kitchen to bathroom. Also, we are on the top floor and it’s very noisy due to all HVAC compressors on top. Building has a very poor sound barriers. You can hear even the slightest of the noise in the pool area in your apartment.
I have never been more happy to leave a place. I lived at Steelworks for 3 years. Over the last year, under the newest management our dishwasher stopped working and took over a month before they would even order a new one. The garage gates both broke and took at least a month before they functioned again. There was constantly dog poop, and trash in hallways. Also, a surprising amount of cigarette and weed smoke considering it's a "smoke free" community. Avoid this place at all cost.

Living on the 1st floor was terrible because of my upstairs neighbor (literally not a care in the world that they had someone living under them) this would go on ALL day/ ALL night. I put in so many complaints & nothing never changed! Also my apt got flooded (from upstairs) my first week moving in & all my flooring/walls/ceiling got tore up bc of water damage which took 3 months to get fixed. Worst, worstt experience.

So far, so good! Maintenance has been relatively quick to answer requests. Staff is responding to questions in an acceptable time frame. Enjoy the walkable neighborhood & closeness to midtown without crazy traffic.

I’ve been a resident of Steelworks since 2016! I haven’t had any issues or concerns. My only issue is my dishwasher that should have been replaced because it never worked properly!

Steelworks is a great place to live. Close to so many great things Atlanta has to offer and affordable. The staff is friendly and responsive.
Great Community and location, lots of maintenance issues though. If you get an apartment on the first floor, the cell phone service is not great at all.
So far my experience at Steelworks has been great. The apartment is beautiful and everything works well. Whenever there have been maintenance issues, management responds very quickly.
I originally had a horrible experience with the previous property management group. The new staff is great! I can feel that they care about the residents, and they are putting in way more effort to building a community in the building. I cannot give it a full 5 starts because, unfortunately, the maintenance staff took a long time to help me with a problem in my apartment, and it ended up not being fully fixed. I do, however, feel that the office staff is willing to listen to me and try their best to help. I work front desk in condominiums, so I know that what you can do is limited, but the ladies I have spoken to are all very kind and great people. I like that the property manager is also much more involved than I usually see - the fact that I have spoken to her multiple times says a lot. As for the value of the building itself, I think it could be improved, but the new management is working well towards that!
Okay service. Been here for 3 years but the new management is not being cordial. So, leaving now. I have been struggling with high utility bills. It's been a headache since a year.
Living here has been a great experience. There’s literally no noise in the building so no disturbing sounds, the residents are nice, I love that the new management is also updating the the look of the building it’s making it so much nicer.
I needed to relocate to Atlanta in a fairly short time. The Steelworks Management team made my process very smooth and did whatever was in their power to get me transitioned. Iesha, Justin, and another guy are all very attentive and will help get requests resolved as soon as possible. My move in was smooth and as soon as I moved in there was a pool party. Iesha did a great job of making sure everyone felt welcomed--even going above and beyond. The apartment complex is super quiet and clean. Most people living are university students or young professionals. The amenities are pretty good and rarely overcrowded. All in all, I have enjoyed my first month here so far and would recommend it over other apartments in the Atlantic Station and mid-town area. Another super plus is how safe and quiet the overall area is. Steelworks is located off the main roads, so honestly if you didn't know where it was you would never come looking for it. If you are looking for city living with a suburban, residential feel, this is the complex for you. The price is also great for what you are getting from the area. - DM

The Steelworks Apartment complex is cumbersome, has aloof management, a bad package delivery system, lacks in some maintenance, and can let residents feel lost in the crowd; however, the residents are friendly and the location is great!

As a resident for 12 months now, I would suggest staying far away from Steelworks. Most (if not all) of the good reviews you'll see are from people who just took a tour and haven't actually lived here - the only true upside to this apartment is its location. As for a few things you'll get with your lease: - Your neighbors will constantly be smoking weed and cigarettes. The vents here are connected so that you are completely at the mercy of your neighbors. In my experience, your apartment will smell like someone is smoking weed inside your room for 3-6 hours per day, not to mention that hallways stink probably 80% of the time. - Poor management. The leasing office rarely answers calls or messages sent through ActiveBuilding (their preferred resident portal, which is often broken anyways). I have brought up the smoking issue many times and they just say that I have to figure out who the smoker is myself, and that they can't do anything. I also had to go to the office in person 3 times over the span of a month to get a rent issue fixed. - Water supply leaves a slimy residue. - Non-negotiable usage of Fetch for package delivery which often delays delivery or loses packages for a $15/month fee. - Valet trash that often isn't collected, even though it costs $25/month. - Other random fees, like a $10 "administrative billing fee" and a $1.5/month pest control fee, even though you'll see tons of cockroaches in the hallways in warmer months. - Thin walls that don't block sound at all. - Cars in the parking are often getting broken into, and gates + elevators are also usually malfunctioning. - High rent prices for this "luxury" apartment despite all of the issues described above.

No place is perfect. The staff do a great deal to ensure everyone is happy and tended to. The move in process was intense and I suffered the first few days. The office staff handled the matter with empathy and are still doing their best to coordinate maintenance. The maintenance director is extremely helpful. The team is understaff and overwhelmed which leads to a slight delay, however they answer swiftly to emergency services

Location is good but garage isnt safe for cars. theres been multiple break in's in which i have been a victim of. When they were notified no one had any concern and I never received a follow up or courtesy call. now im worried to even have my car parked there

So far I have been here for about weeks and I really like it here. The place is nice a quite which is what I was looking for in a community. One of the things I had to do while moving in was fill out a form on the conditions of the unit and I will say I do appreciate the staff placing a maintenance order for my unit as fast as they did even tho one of the issues werent able to be fixed. The only downside here is the lighting in the bed room and living room are really dim I was told I would have to get my own lighting for the rooms to make it brighter which was a downer cause it gives the place more of a hotel feel. I also was told I can only have one car while living here which is also an inconvenience because I was planning on buying a new car in a year so Ill more then likely have to move again. Other then that the place seems to be nice.

Lived here 2 years and havent really had any problems other than occasional noisy neighbors. Great management!
