Property Ratings at Springfield Meadows
Don’t call and expect an answer….they NEVER answer. Maintenance requests take forever but they have time to walk the property and take pictures of peoples patios to say you cannot have bikes or balls for “appearance purposes” but yet the garbage area constantly has trash piled and spilt all over which attracts rats. Then they will continue to charge you $50 a month for a washer that barely works and a dryer that I have to tape shut to dry clothes. Then the best part of that is I put a maintenance request in and no one has even came to look at it and surprise surprise no communication on the status but it was changed to “in progress” the same day I put the request in. Then they will add a $75 late fee on top of it. These apartments were great when I moved in but sadly have just steadily gone downhill. Do not rent from here if possible. This property is income restricted and I believe that is why they do the things they do unfortunately.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. I believe the person I spoke with was named Yohana and he was very polite and professional. And the grounds are kept in immaculate shape. I would definitely recommend this community to family and friends.

I applied at Springfield Meadows for apartment V246 on 4/13/21. I submitted an application via their online website portal. They charged my debit card a total of $245.28 which including the application fee and a $200 “holding fee”. Within an hour of applying online I was called by Ashley from Springfield Meadows and informed the apartment was actually no longer available because the resident living there “changed their mind”. Ashley informed me residents have 72 hours to change their mind which if this is the case why is the apartment listed available until after that time period has passed? So I told Ashley I want my money refunded immediately because the application wasn’t even ran and furthermore the apartment I applied for was not even available. She said I would have to fill out a special form and have it sent to their corporate office and I needed to allow 21 days to receive it. This is unacceptable. The transaction was still in pending status on my bank account and could easily have been cancelled. She said I signed a form agreeing to it taking 21 days which I did not I signed a form contingent upon applying for an apartment that was not actually available. I am requesting an immediate full refund of $245.28 and feel others should be warned of the shady business practices of this company. The main parent company is called HNN Associates LLC and I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as filed a dispute with my bank.
I have lived at this complex for over a year now. Like every other complex’s I’ve lived at from Detroit to Virginia Beach there are not so great neighbors but the office staff is working very hard to get the bar people out. They always have a fun activity each month ranging from a summer bbq to a puzzle contest. There is a monthly newsletter of informative news. The office staff has gone through some changes and there a lot of new faces but they are all awesome and helpful, I recently had a work order and it was completed within 24 hrs, with the old staff it would take 3-5 days sometimes even longer. The ladies in the office are always smiling and laughing, which makes the atmosphere fun. On the weekends the cabana girl is always willing to help and has some good conversations, she prints out coloring sheets and had games out for the kids to play. My daughter and I love it here and would recommend family and friends to live in this community.
Besides the kids doing whatever they want to do and the trash floating around the complex they wasnt any real issues until its time to move out. They have charged every single person unnecessary charges upon move out. I guarantee when its time to move out you will owe them. The price isnt worth the headache
Wasnt a huge fan of this apartment complex, I lived there for 6 months and swat team was there on 3 different occasions. There are kids everywhere running up and down the stairs, walls are thin and as far as management goes, they started off cool but now they sucks. I wouldnt recommend anyone waste their money moving in here because they will rip you off when its time to move out..... They never had one single problem with me I paid on time and still ended up getting the short end of the stick. Youre welcome
This apartment looks good on the outside but lacks all around. It is a income based apartment complex but for the price of what you're paying its definitely not worth it. The management needs improvement, from the time I moved in I felt harassed about everything, especially parking I was towed and had a damaging sticker placed on my window. If they care so much for how people are parked and where they should make it assigned parking, but they don't. The only time I felt this apartment complex actually got a thumbs up is the fast response they had to a complaint where there was a huge lake at the end of my stairs because there was not proper drainage. They fixed it immediately otherwise I would pick these apartments LAST!
ive lived here for 8 years now, ive never had any problems with management and they are always very friendly.
I have lived here almost 2 years. The staff are professional and friendly. The maintenance crew are on top of things and also very professional. I love this place!
These apartments cater to all who are in need of a nice place with all the amenities that reaches a diverse set of culturally and ethinically set of people looking to add some excitement to their life and a great place to get back on track with your health due to there recreation room, swimming pool and tanning bed! It has it all and is designed to make it possible for anyone in need of a very safe and comfortable place to live....great for families and students looking for a place that they can afford on a very small income. It's all around an A living community....take a minute out of your day and come and see what could possibly be your new home. See you there!
The community at Springfield Meadows is very diverse. It caters to the lower-income groups and also to all cultures, whether it be a persons ethnicity or their financial position in society. It also has many ways to save tenants money and by also giving them a way to stay healthy. Tenants have complete access to the recreation rooms and swimming pool . .these are just a couple of the benefits at Springfield Meadows that are included in your lease for free. So with this all taken into consideration, making a decision on where to settle down for yourself or families new home should begin, try a new beginning at Springfield Meadows, it is cost effective and couldn't have more of a true feeling of "Home" than what is offered .....this could be the last time you have to worry about making a decision that has to please all family members, your decision to call Springfield Meadows home is a decision you will never regret..............so come on over and check out what you are missing!
