Evanston is a small city located on the west edge of Wyoming. The area feels suburban and has sunny weather the majority of the year since the elevation is over 6,000 feet above sea level. The Evanston community lives an active, healthy lifestyle and enjoys spending their time outdoors exploring Mother Nature. Go to hometown favorite Bear River State Park, a 324-acre park with breathtaking overlooks and a plethora of activities. This natural area has space for archery, camping, geocaching, boating, fishing, horseback riding, and more. Bear Meadows Park is another popular area featuring sports facilities, exercise stations, and an amphitheater. In the winter, Evanston has a variety of ice ponds for ice skating and fishing as well.
