The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Sonoma Ridge Apartments
While the staff is always friendly the units are in shambles. On tenant changes paint is slapped over the walls and baseboards without cleaning them first leaving the dirt, dust, and grime stuck to the wall without being able to clean it off. The AC units are extremely old and will run 24/7. The windows do not seal at all and have noticeable gaps that let air in and out. When there is monsoon rain the roof will leak. The carpet and pad combo is the cheapest possible, if there is any actual padding under the carpet. Sonoma Ridge, and Thompson Michie the parent company, spend absolute minimum amount to make the apartments presentable on a walk through. Can't recommend not living here enough.

Hi, our team works hard to create five-star homes for all our residents, so it’s disappointing to see your negative perception of our community. We try to fulfill all maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner, regardless of the high volume. We’re sorry this was not your experience. Please bring these concerns to us at the leasing office to reach a resolution.
They are taking away all amenities in the name of “safety” when the state has opened 3 weeks ago. Rent prices have not be adjusted for the lack of services and lack of office open times. They have re-opened the gym between 10am-4pm, when residents are at work. This place used to be great. And don’t get me wrong, the maintenance and parking is still awesome. But they have left little to desire as they try and take away the few amenities they have to offer.
We are actually leaving after our lease is up in March. We have been here for a year and would not recommend it to ANYONE!!! Poor management....management has changed 3 times since we have been here. No follow up on horrible neighbors who are SO loud all throughout the night, children throwing things onto patio, spitting, using foul language, etc......With the amount of money that is charged for this apartment it is not worth it. I would not recommend to anyone. Grounds are riddled with dog poop that no one picks up. Gates are always broken, left open. Vandalism has occurred many of times in the pool with stolen TV, etc. Residents poop in the pool...it is gross!

The new management company Avenue 5 is the worst I have ever seen. They easily took the property back 50 years. They are inefficient and made things difficult. People are leaving and we will soon too.

I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I'm happy to discuss the renovations within the apartments and community with you if you would like to set aside some time. The fitness center, pool, clubhouse and entertaining area have all been renovated while the apartments are continuing to undergo renovations. I would love to discuss your concerns with the renovations and see what improvements you would like to see. Please let me know a day/time Mon-Fri that would work for you. Thank you, Megan Jacobson Property Manager Sonoma Ridge pm.sonomaridge@avenue5apt.com
I have lived here for a little over 6 months now, my family has been very pleased with the community. We absolutely love the gym and using the bikes on the trail located behind us. Our apartment was recently renovated so beautifully. The office staff has been nothing but kind, my children love the play ground and our service requests are always completed within 48 hours if not the same day. We love it here and definitely will be renewing our lease!!
I've lived here for 7 months now and the only time I like this complex was the day before I signed the lease. Once I was moved in I started having problems with everything, with management mostly. I'm a small business owner and work out of my truck which means I have a fair amount of tools in the back and it seemed in no time I tools stolen off my truck. The garages here are too small for my truck so I bought extra cargo boxes with lock on them and started backing in my truck to help prevent theft. After the first day of backing in I received a notice saying my truck was going to be towed for backing, after talking to management they let me know the I cant back in the truck and it would be towed if I continued to do so but wouldn't let me know why and ruddy suggested to read the lease. During the mid summer my electric bill was well over $200 on a 750 sq. ft. apartment and they insisted this is a normal utility bill and wouldn't look at anything when my last apartment was never over $100 a month. The downsides just add up here like, leaky faucets, entrance gates broken for weeks at a time, over priced no communication from office and no mercy when coming to money. In the end I'd just hate for other people to move in with out knowing the true colors of this place. New management doesn't necessarily mean better management.
I moved in almost a month ago and have enjoyed my home so far. The office staff was nice and welcoming at move-in and made me feel at home even though I was relocating from thousands of miles away. My apartment was clean at move-in with bad no surprises!
Super convenient apartments. Not old but a bit dated. Well maintained and clean. Quite. Great staff! Nice pool, gym, office, etc. A little overpriced.
