Wedged between the North Loop and University Hills, Windsor Park offers a terrific neighborhood just north of Downtown Austin. With I-35 and Highway 290 serving as the west and northern borders, getting around the Austin area is easy, and the University of Texas at Austin is a short three miles southwest. As you explore apartments in Windsor Park, you'll notice a variety of ranch-style homes dating to the 1950s, giving the neighborhood an established, family-friendly vibe. With Downtown Austin only about four miles south, this is a terrific option for commuters.
Windsor Park provides a large park, Bartholomew District Park, on its south side. This 57-acre park features a swimming pool, a splash pad, disc golf, picnic areas, a playground, and basketball courts. Just a short distance south of Batholomew Park, Mueller Lake Park has a lake and an amphitheater. Shops, restaurants, and other businesses are scattered throughout the neighborhood.

Property Ratings at Solomon
Living at Solomon Apartments has been a deeply frustrating experience, due primarily to poor property management, compounded by the building’s subpar construction, in my opinion. While the building looks attractive on the surface and the amenities are very appealing, it is easily the worst build quality I’ve encountered in any apartment I’ve lived in, despite the premium price tag. I'm an extremely heavy sleeper, and I’ve never had significant noise issues in any apartment before, until this one. Here, the noise travels through walls and ceilings like paper. I can even hear when my upstairs neighbor is taking a shower or flushing the toilet. I’ve lived in apartments across a wide range of locations, building types, and price points—from broke to high-end—and none have come close to the level of disruption I’ve experienced here. While I believe my upstairs neighbor was uniquely loud (lots of loud banging and stomping at all times of the day and night), I’ve also spoken with other residents who report similar issues, which leads me to believe that this is a widespread problem, not an isolated one. I’ve submitted multiple noise complaints and spoken with both the on-site and regional property managers. Unfortunately, the situation remains unresolved. After months of stress and sleepless nights, a unit transfer was offered—but not for another two months and at a higher rent, which is not, in my opinion, a reasonable solution to a persistent problem. In my experience, the Greystar staff has been consistently dismissive, responding to legitimate concerns with a tone that often felt more like mockery than meaningful customer service. Being talked down to and brushed off repeatedly made me feel frustrated, powerless, and disrespected. I understand and accept that it is unreasonable to expect silence in any shared living environment, but in my opinion, what's happening here goes far beyond normal apartment noise. What was supposed to be my dream apartment has turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare. My mental health, sleep, and quality of life have declined significantly as a result of living here. I truly hope management will eventually take more proactive steps to ensure tenants have the peaceful living environment they deserve and pay for.
Solomon has been a great place to live, lots of great changes made and great location to Mueller and downtown. just wish other residents would be more respectful and mindful that other people live here and they should pick up after themselves and pets, it’s not the property owners responsibility to pick up after people.

The Solomon is advertised as a “luxury” building, but the reality is very disappointing. There are ongoing problems that make living here frustrating and not worth the rent prices: • The package room is a constant mess, and I’ve lost multiple packages due to poor logging or theft. • Cleanliness throughout the property is poor. The pool and outdoor furniture are almost always dirty. • After a major flooding issue inside the apartments, the only response was offering complimentary breakfast. • Humidity inside the units is a serious issue. Even with a dehumidifier, I’ve had clothes develop mold. • The apartments themselves feel cheaply made. The dishwasher never cleans properly no matter the setting, and there is no soundproofing — you can hear every step and TV from your neighbors. • The garage is power washed with little notice, and residents are threatened with towing at their own expense if cars aren’t moved. Inconvenient and stressful if you’re traveling. • The garage door breaks at least once a month, and there has even been a break-in where belongings were stolen from residents’ cars. • The entrance call box almost never works. • Even small things, like the lobby coffee machine rarely having cups, are overlooked. For the high rent, you expect a true luxury experience — but instead you get disorganization, cheap construction, constant maintenance issues, and little accountability from management. This building does not deliver on what it promises.

The staff at Solomon have been wonderful from the day of move in. The ladies at the leasing office were beyond helpful in getting me set up for my move in despite my many questions. I was also very impressed by the community with the recent storm, I have gone through numerous hurricanes back home and never received as much attention as here at the Solomon. The housekeeper is amazing and always helpful and the maintenance team have been wonderful in getting anything in my apartment fixed whenever I submit a request. This is a beautiful community with great staff so I definitely recommend it.

I moved in a couple of weeks ago and have been really loving it. The amenities at Solomon are unmatched- from the details in the study lounge and the common areas, to the gym, to the rooftop pool, everything is top notch. My friends are shocked how nice everything is when they come over. The move in process was super smooth. The leasing team was very helpful and supportive and they are all very nice people. There was a small issue in my unit that I needed to submit a work order for. I received a call literally 30 seconds after pressing the submit button on the form from Jorge (maintenance). I was so impressed by how quickly he called and came to fix my issue. Solomon is an awesome place to live and I am so thankful to live here!

I just wanted to give a huge shout out to Eddie! He made my decision easy to choose Solomon as my new home. From the moment I stepped in the very first time to tour, he made me feel so welcomed and like I was already at home! His energy is great and you can tell just how much he loves Solomon. The attention to detail in every aspect of the community is unmatched. The amenities speak for themselves and the apartments are beautiful. As this was one of the first places I toured, the bar was set SO high and of course nothing compared. They really thought of everything when building the Solomon and have anything you could need to make living here easy. Eddie was so helpful in recommending which floorplans would best suit me based on my furniture and preferences. I was probably not an easy resident to deal with, but Eddie did it with ease and a smile on his face. When it came to my indecisiveness, Eddie was a SAINT. I changed my mind multiple times on which floorplan I wanted and he was always accommodating. I even wanted to switch units 2 days before move in because I realized I picked a floor with the other color scheme (completely my fault) and even on such short notice, Eddie made it happen. I can’t say enough good things about the whole Solomon team in general. They are always there if you need anything and they genuinely mean it. Any questions or concerns I had were handled immediately. Not once have I walked by the leasing office without someone smiling and waving as I pass by. But I have to give all of the credit to Eddie, as he was one of the main reasons I chose to live here. He is one of the nicest, friendliest people I have ever met. When I toured with him, I never once felt like he was trying to “sell” the apartment to me; he shared his love for it so naturally and it showed. I’m so happy I get to call Solomon home. I love it here & I don’t plan on going anywhere! Thanks Eddie & the rest of the team!!

We recently moved into Solomon and have had an AMAZING experience! Simply put the building and decor is absolutely stunning and feels so homey. The amenities are also second to none and certainly far and away the best I’ve ever experienced at an apartment complex. While the building and apartment is beautiful what makes Solomon truly stand out is the people. Erica is an absolute delight to work with and is phenomenal at her job as well as her manager Nirosha. Carlos in maintenance has also been incredible and beyond helpful and we feel like we’re truly the best hands should we ever need maintenance on our apartment. We’re so excited we chose Solomon and if you’re in the apartment hunt would 10/10 recommend!

I've lived in luxury apartments before but Solomon stands apart. The finishes inside the apartments are beautiful, and the same quality aesthetics are found throughout the community. The amenities are amazing. Great staff. It feels luxurious living here.

DO NOT TRY AND LIVE HERE! They will not send you your lease and drag you along and make you believe that they are available to move in and then tell you LAST MINUTE that there is still construction that needs to be done. THEY ARE NOT READY FOR TENANTS, I repeat THEY ARE NOT READY FOR TENANTS. Find another location where the management is transparent and actually cares about your circumstance. I have have my lease moved THREE TIMES in the last month (initially supposed to move in APRIL now moved until PAST JUNE) without any remorse or compensational relief. THEY DO NOT CARE!
