Solana Apartments

The community is very nice. The amenities are amazing. It seems to be very pet friendly. I love how quiet everything is. I can't wait to renew my lease this spring

There has been a lot of changes since I moved in and not changes for the better. We have switched to an app to be able to access the community and get inside the unit so if your phone dies you are locked out. It feels as if the community is looking for ways to increase rent but the "added features" are making the community less desirable. The maintenance crew does a good job at getting to the repairs and are friendly. This review does not reflect maintenance.

Move in was easy. Office staff is responsive. The recent upgrades are a nice touch. Neighbors are quiet. And the food truck events are fantastic.

The complex is fine. Relatively quiet and clean with a few additional amenities. The biggest issue is the changing hands of management every so often. The changes are bit overwhelming and can come at the expense of tenants comfort. While some staff members are knowledgeable and responsive, I more than once have been poorly advised on how to handle concerns and/or have had to personally follow up with higher ups to get tasks completed.

I love this community! I visited my sisters and this is by far nicer and more peaceful! Staff is helpful and genuine here! Sad to see the pool close but excited about fall!

Pretty bad ngl. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to write here, just trying to get these points, you know. But yeah, I'd say it's not a great community; they let anyone in here, huh.

Would be a 5 star but we have had more then a few issues with our initial survey of the unit before move in, many maintenance issues and damage, but Morgan has been there every minute of it and has been a huge help. The process has been easy and informative. Nothing but good so far!

New management continues to make improvements to the community and they are all positive ones that improves the living experience. One change I wish that would be made though is giving us more choice of internet service providers. We are stuck with spectrum and they are overpriced for average service and bad customer service. This was the case under old management so I’m not sure how much they can do to change this.

Really impressed by the incredible job the management is doing to make our living here in Solana joyful and confortable. Hope the tenants will follow through and act accordingly.

It's a friendly and safe environment. Everyone in the community are respectful to others. It's family and kid friendly. I enjoy calling it my home.

The new management is responsive and I appreciate the ongoing improvements. My apartment unit is light filled with high ceilings and ample storage space.

Overall , I think the improvements you are making are great! I lived here several years ago in a town home and it doesn’t feel like the same place. I love that you painted all of the apartment buildings. The communication is so much better. It feels so much safer especially now that we have the butterfly app. We all have our own code. The improvements in the work out room are wonderful. It has really come a long way! Thank you!

I have lived here for four years and have enjoyed the whole experience. The property is beautiful. The rent is affordable based on the amenities that you receive the location is safe.

Excellent property management and facilities. Always plenty of parking and the staff is there when you need them. 10/10 would pay rent again.

I love that I'm 5 minutes to the Keystone mall, 10 minutes to Broad Ripple or Carmel, and 20 from downtown. I get to enjoy everything Indy has to offer but feel tucked away in a safe little spot behind the trees, right by the river. I get to enjoy the pace of life in the city during the day but get to come home to waterside, peaceful evenings. The property and maintenance team is always very kind and helpful. I've been here for 3 years and it's always been a great experience.

I love it here. I can’t imagine living anywhere else! The leasing office is great and accommodating. I highly recommend Solana at the Crossing to everyone I know.

Very nice apartments gated with a lake view. The pool is has lake views the gym is updated and there’s so much room. The apartments are updated and maintenance is always prompt

Our experience at Solana at the Crossing has been very satisfying. The current management inherited a property that needed a lot of TLC and they are diligently working to catch up on many fronts. The package room is one major, visible improvement, and soon the system to enter the gate will be updated. While juggling major improvements the staff is constantly, daily, keeping up with maintenance requests and trying to get ahead on things that were ignored for much too long. Everyone here is to be commended for persevering and doing so with extremely good attitudes.

Great experience. Apartment is in great shape, is spacious and bathed in light. Modern fixtures, reasonable rent and has a dog park. Simple process.

Living at Solana has been great! The views are stunning—sunsets from my balcony never get old. The floor plans are super open and bright, and everything just feels thoughtfully laid out. The dog park is clean and well-kept. The whole place is really pet-friendly. Big shoutout to the staff too—both the office and maintenance teams are always friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. It really feels like home here.

They have A lot going on so understandably things get missed but frustration still brews when things aren’t filled after promises were made countless times. But still a great place to live with beautiful amenities

Morgan was great and the process was so easy! We love our apartment and the gym is so nice! We also love the gate at the front, it makes us feel much safer.

I appreciate the very nice grounds keeping, scenic lakeside walking trail, also the peacefully quiet wood-side setting. I look forward to the pool and bar for summer. thank you!

Overall a good environment and really nice, just had an issue with leaks and appliances not working and such. Those being dryer not drying clothes, sink is leaking and creating water damage in the cabinet and also the a/c doesn’t work entirely.

I have lived here for a year and I am quite literally dying to get out. New management came on the scene ~9 months ago and it's only gotten worse. They started new initiatives but do not follow a timeline whatsoever. They repainted and power washed buildings for weeks, blocking off our apartment stairs with NO notice for DAYS at a time, closed the package room and gym suddenly - offering no alternative solution, and do not take resident opinions or concerns seriously. They are a mess! Our A/C unit has been dysfunctional for months, costing us $400+ a month, as well as problems with our washer/dryer. When maintenance came, he basically said 'Sorry - I don't know what this is'?? And nothing was ever fixed! Management sent a complex-wide message saying they'd come to look at everyone's units and guess what - they never did! Just another empty promise. We have also had issues with insects in our apartment. So disgusting. Most recently, management has tried to implement the alleged 'valet trash policy' - but they don't follow the rules THEMSELVES!!!! I have never felt more undervalued at a complex. Not to mention, the police have been here nearly 10 times over the course of my year lease and I have heard/witnessed multiple domestic *issues*. I do not feel welcomed, safe, or heard at this complex. The ONLY positive of Solana is the spacious units for the smaller price tag. But I'd pay triple to live anywhere else.

I Love Solana! The neighborhood is so clean, quiet, and overall nice to live in. I enjoy the quiet environment by the water, and the dog park for my pup! I’ve recommended these apartments to others as well.

Great complex, they are making awesome changes. Great staff and crew, easy to talk to. I feel important and heard about my likes and dislikes.

I have seen big improvements with the new management company. The app makes contacting the office easier and they generally respond pretty quickly.

Pretty place but it has been a horrible experience. I pushed too hard to get into this community because of our friends but the same people that processed us also lied to them and they never stayed. So our friends never got their referral and we got left here alone. Our place defiantly was not ready to move into, and then theres the putting us in two evicted apartments and basically forcing us to have no choice but to sign your paperwork when move week came.... For all that to tun into my gas being syphoned out of my car, crime weekly, gun reports, my apartment reeks of weed often, no one picks up after their pets, no action has been taken on the intruders that come into the exit, the gym has become an area where women cant feel safe, it is actually a joke... I have never been allowed to speak to a manager so my retaliation has been to create a huge photo album of review photos for this place because I expect to be burnt again just like when I signed. I could go one but i'm done

I love it so far! Very quiet, maintenance gets things fixed fast, love the amenities. Great for my second month being here I really enjoy coming home to a quiet community!

This is only my second apartment and already i’m in awe. The apartment itself is stunning with the most amazing kitchen, and the bathtub is so spacious. But honestly the community is what really impressed me. Not only the staff but the residents are so friendly and helpful, I could not have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend these apartments if you’re looking for city, but not too loud/ and safe apartments.

Experience had been great all around except I was paying for a garage and didn’t receive a garage door opener for 6 mos. Even after multiple stops at the rental office and putting in tickets.

The office staff and the grounds staff are so professional! From my move in to my visit to talk about my apartment, they have been so helpful and they listen to me. I love that! Kind and Caring people work here!

My washer hasn’t worked since I moved in a week ago. I was told by three employees it would be fixed asap. I am still waiting.I would like a phone call or something.

I had such an easy experience from start to finish. Everyone is so friendly. I love the location and the move was smooth. Maintenance is attentive too.

Going on our second lease here at Solana and we’ve seen a big improvement with the leasing/management team, the grounds and the appearance of the apartments. We have no complaints and things seem to be going great. Love our space our neighbors are nice as well.

Beautiful place for the money. Leasing office is definitely needs some organizational skills when it comes to the way they communicate with new and potential residents. It's like the blind leading the blind.

I enjoy calling Solana my home. Friendly and clean neighborhood. Office management team are very welcoming and quick to respond to any issues.

My overall experience has been good. I had one minor issue with maintenance and one problem with a neighbor, but overall, it has been a 9/10 experience.

I try to never need maintenance or go to the leasing office - they both end in frustration! They really need to elevate their staff service, particularly management.

I've lived here for 8 years and I feel this is a great place to call home. The management is proactive and does their best to make things the best they can be by listening to their residents and improving the property. The location and amenities are excellent and the place is super safe for new residents. I highly recommend it!!

I love living in here. I would not consider moving anytime soon. Very friendly staff And my home is wonderful. Very spacious. Well maintained property, especially to live on.

It has been good so far, move in went smoothly after a slight problem with the leasing information. But everyone was very helpful through the process, as they knew I had to be moved in quickly.

Since moving in everyone on the leasing team has been very kind and informative. When we first applied and had trouble on applying the property manager took time out of his day to guide us through the application since we are young adults and are new to this . When you walk in you get smiles . Being in a job where you have to give great customer service it’s always refreshing when you receive that back .
