      Don't say I didn't warn you!

      I've been here for about four years and never had any issues, the staff was always friendly, property well kept and maintenance team is superb, but now its a nightmare! Its incredibly loud and I've made several complaints about the noise. I've even recorded the tenant above me and sent it to my leasing office and they have done absolutely nothing. I have expressed to the leasing office that I am a nurse and my job is very demanding and at times I can't even sleep because the tenant above me is so loud. I have threatened to break my lease and was met with a "do what you gotta do" attitude. The gate is always broken, someone was shot and killed in the building right next to mine, on two occasions someone pulled the fire alarm without cause. The first time was late afternoon and the second time was at about 3am and I had a shift at 6:45a that morning. This past Christmas someone who doesn't even live here was caught stealing packages that most residents never got back. There are a lot more college kids here than there was before with a blatant disregard for their neighbors. I don't know if its the management or the desperate need for tenants but I am beyond disappointed and won't be renewing.

      Ask An Expert: Highest Value Apartments in Jacksonville?

      It has been a pleasure to live here so far (since April 2022). Solid service and stellar responsiveness. You will be very hard-pressed to find comparable Jacksonville rentals for the price. Trust me, I spent days hunting! The front office employees are excellent communicators and will exceed your expectations. For example, Roger was INCREDIBLY responsive and helpful as we moved-in. Another employee, whom I believe was the property manager, Andrea, once showed up to my door personally to check the status of a missing package. (USPS lost it). The above alone would warrant at least 3 or 4 stars, in my opinion, and below are why I added the full allotment: 1. Amenities (particularly love the large dog park and loop around the lake) 2. Location (5 minutes from NOVA campus, as well as many restaurants and stores) 3. Price (one of the highest value apartment complexes in Jacksonville) 4. Unit aesthetics (e.g. second or third floor SCREENED-IN balconies) Just a few examples, so I'd recommend at least scheduling a tour to see for yourself :)

      Love it

      Just moved in with my fiancé. Love it so far, clean, quiet and employees here are really hard workers. The apartments are relatively new. The first thing that I noticed was that the apartments smelt clean ( huge difference from our old place) I’d highly recommend

      Best Place In Jax!

      I was looking for a new place after making the decision to sell my house. I had been looking for an apartment since I am moving in the next 18 months to a new town. I spent months going to different place on my list and Sola was my favorite. 1. They have screened in patio spaces. 2. They allow 3 pets (this is unheard of in an apartment complex) 3. Valet trash, water included, great amenities i.e. 2 dog parks, dog grooming station, pool, massive gym, events, food trucks on site twice a week, and on and on. 4. Management team - friendly, professional, a pleasure to work with. Roger was my leasing agent and he is the greatest along with the entire team managed by Andrea. Everyone is fantastic. 5. 2 bedroom Nolita - spacious, roomie, beautifully designed. I was afraid downsizing from a house I would feel cramped. Nope. Open concept, luxury vinyl flooring, big bathrooms, large bedrooms, washer & dryer in unit, large kitchen island. Everything about this place is awesome. I honestly love it so much I thought about staying in Jax for another year. If you are looking for a gorgeous place to live, Sola is a great place & you should absolutely check it out. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend. Best apartment I have ever rent.

      Best apartment living experience to date!

      Everything about living at Sola has exceeded my expectations. From the beautiful amenities to the helpful and wonderful staff, I can truly say this is the best apartment living experience I’ve ever had. Andrea helped me move into Sola last year and she made the entire process very smooth. It’s great to see her now being the Property manager as it is super deserved. She’s always attentive and communicates with residents like no other manager I’ve experienced before. Alexis has also helped me from day 1 and has always been there to square out any of the concerns I’ve had throughout my lease term. She’s really been a life saver! Roger helped me renew my lease this year and is honestly so thorough and kind! When I had a question in my mind he was already answering the question for me. Erin has helped me on many occasions despite having a busy office full of residents and tours. She’s always been attentive and great energy. The entire maintenance team is phenomenal! They are quick, reliable, and go the extra mile! I couldn’t ask for a better maintenance staff and leasing team honestly. Thank you to all the staff at Sola for keeping us in the loop and being the reason I plan to keep renewing ????

      Very nice :)

      Move in experience so far has been quite nice. Erin and Roger were very helpful during the phone call and move in process. One of the gates being busted does mean that some noisy people have been around, but there are plans to have it fixed. Will adjust this review in the future as needed.

      Noise is Terrible - Do not move here if you like the quiet

      Appliances are nice and new, but too many downfalls. My airpods were stolen right from the kitchen not even a month in, from one of their vendors during an air vent inspection and got no resolution / was never told what happened to my report... also if you like silence this isn’t the place. I can hear my upstairs neighbors every footstep, and their conversations if too loud. Walls are paper thin and they will not help if you have complaints. Sad.

      Better options in the area....Keep looking

      Moved in about 6 months ago. The grounds are amazing and well kept. The buck stops there. Walls and ceilings are thin. There is a pest issues in a number of the buildings. The interior on the units are less than "Luxurious". Seems like they spent most of their resources making the amenities look good and cut back in the actual living spaces. All of the staff are very incompetent except for Roger who is amazing. For the price, there are much better options in the area...keep looking.

      Poor Service & Quality

      Please be cautious when signing a lease here. Management does not respond to email or phone messages. I have lived here over the last two years and the first year wasn't too bad as the original management was more attentive to resident concerns. The new/current management company is not in the least bit concerned with residents well-being or concern. The apartments and facilities are gorgeous but if you do decide to stay here, make sure you're very aware that the walls are VERY THIN. If you decide to move forward, try to get an apartment on the very top floor and in a corner apartment to avoid the noise issues as I can't emphasize enough how thin the walls are. Currently live under an apartment who has a larger dog who is constantly running around and making an incredible amount of noise. I love dogs but it's unbearable. In addition, the upstairs tenants are always dropping things and I have been woken up numerous times at odd hours (2 am to 4 am). Keep in mind that I am not a light sleeper. Although maintainece requests have never been an issue, once again would like to mention that if you have any complaints about noise issues, they will not get addressed. Even had the courtesy officer tell me at 11 pm that it's still early to be reporting noise. Also you may wonder if noise is an issue why I choose to stay here a second year, well the first year wasn't as bad as it was brand new and the entire first year I did not have upstairs neighbors. I am a nurse and I don't have the most normal hours so with the most recent tenants the last year has been quite a struggle. Management has never once addressed my concerns.

      Okay Property

      The inside of the apartment unit is absolutely beautiful. Can’t say the same for the rest. The staff is very unhelpful, use extreme caution when signing a lease agreement. There’s two gates when trying to get in and out. One that opens like a door, and the other like a toll booth. That means longer wait times. Gates get broken & glitch often, so if you have a nice car use caution. Pick the 4th floor you or, you’ll hear every single step from the person above you on the laminated floors. When the property has lawn work done, they need to get rid of the sandy walkways also fill the empty patches of grass. Be careful with office staff, they will share PII with other residents. The Starbucks machine is a huge plus! Although staff should maintain the machine more. Awesome thing is they do have pest control! Would suggest staying home when pest control comes to put pesticides in your apartment, otherwise you may end up touching it, or brushing something on it that may cause adverse health effects. The property does have valet trash, no option for recycling though. The carbon footprint by the property leaves a big dent. Would suggest buying a water filter the water quality is not the best, has the strong, dense chlorine smell/taste. Parking is a problem when you come in later, you’ll have a decent walk to your unit. Unless you spend 175 for a attached garage. The community parking spaces are pretty tight. So if your purchasing a new car get the scratch protection, or buy a bottle of Scratch eraser. Make sure to read the lease agreement before you sign it, and request a copy ASAP! If you have a dog they have an awesome dog park, beware of sand fleas! Community is open to all breeds, you’ll see bulldogs, pit bulls, German Shepard’s, and the little ones as well! You’ll be rolling the dice when it comes to loud neighbors, and thin walls. Property is by a new management company called South Oxford Management, I will not trash the managing control entity. I will however suggest looking at all the other properties they have and reviews. This is a new constructed property, you can tell it was done in a rush the floors on the upper levels aren’t entirely even so keep an open mind which shoes you’re wearing to avoid wet feet after it rains. If you can live with the sound of NYC, by all means building in the back is perfect for you. You’ll hear cars, trucks, motorcycles, and lots & lots of sirens going to the hospital right next door!

      The Best

      I've been living at Sola for about 9 months and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. As a graduate student, Sola is the perfect place to live; it provides beautiful facilities and apartments, study spaces, a 24 hour coffee/hot chocolate machine, fresh baked cookies, a stunning pool area, excellent gym and ideal location just minutes from the St. John's Town Center. I really couldn't be happier. To top it off, the staff are some of the best - they are always kind, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive making sure that any issues are tended to immediately and that the facilities are always pristine. I just wanted to give some credit where it is absolutely due - thank you Sola!

      Great Apartments

      We just moved in and already I'm impressed by the living conditions and service personnel. As this apartment is still under construction, there was some expected delays with my apartment availability, nonetheless the leasing office staff Lyraine and Mike were the most helpful at meeting our needs. Also, I like the hardwood floors and all other aspects of the apartment are top notch. There is still some construction outside, but the pool area is already complete and a great place to hang out. Overall it seems like a great place to live.
