Wonderful home but expensive I lived three years here. Very peaceful and quiet. Loved living in the canyon with deer and owls and other wildlife. Loved the access to the hiking trails at end of road.. pool was nice. Access to some shops and restaurants but other neighborhoods are way better. Very expensive including $125/month just to flush the toilet and I lived alone and worked 5 days a week. If you’re comfortable paying around $3000/month rent then this place is really nice.

Beautiful location. Noisy apartments.
I would highly recommend Sofi Belmont for its location. Probably the best place to live in Belmont. Just be aware that the walls are very thin and noise carries.

Good location but terrible management
Management recently turned over with everyone new in the leasing office. You really have to stay on top of them to get anything done. Not to mention the rude attitude.

Terrible customer service
After communicating with the office we agreed that I stop by to check a unit. They confirmed the time, and I took some time off from work to check the unit. Once I arrived, there was no one in the office, and no one picked any of my calls. I made like 10 phone calls which all went to voice mail. Terrible customer service and honestly the location did not seem good anyways. I recommend looking elsewhere since you might run into issues. Other reviews here show that many people are unhappy.

I would recommend because it's a nice complex. And very diverse. People feel safe from the crazies here. Along with a huge dog population living her and trailheads, trails, wildlife, and WaterDog Lake. But the rent is still too high. People a moving in droves to less expensive states. If you can work from home, why live in an expensive Bay Area apartment?

I had a small window of opportunity to decide on a place to call home in this area. When the time to decide came, I honed in on the Sofi Belmont complex and found it to be a quiet and mostly secure area. I enjoy the convenience and security of the package pickup and the laundry area is pretty clean. Having my own parking spot is very important and I like it is not a through street, so that helps with the quiet aspect.

I really like it at SOFI. Very dog friendly, well maintained, nice neighbors, quiet, close to the trails and grocery store, restaurants etc.

I would recommend this apartment community because of the management company. I wouldn?t recommend it due to thin walls. May seem petty but it can affect quality of life.

Great property with excellent management
This place is fabulous. Beautiful property, tons of amenities, reasonably prices. The staff is amazing. Charlie, the property manager is super nice and is a wealth of information. He responds to my zillion questions as soon as I ask them and clearly goes the extra mile to do a good job. I highly recommend this place.

So far, I have enjoyed this neighborhood and the apartment. The neighborhood is clean, and quiet. It's a great perk to live on a closed end street. The apartment upgrades are great! I appreciate the thoughtfulness in the upgrades ie: laundry unit and cabinetry. The staff is kind and knowledgeable and always present to help. The negatives: the walls are very thin. I can hear and smell everything. Some of the neighbors play music loudly at night. The carpet in the hallways are gross, probably due to pets defecting and/or leaking trash dragged down the hallways.

This is a great location and the staff has been consistently providing excellent service - whatever issue or question I have they are SUPER QUICK to respond. I really appreciate that. The negatives are just that the quality of fixtures is strangely inconsistent, like my old studio and the model both have smooth ceiling texture, while my new apartment have popcorn style ceiling. My old apartment had newer, higher quality bathroom sink and tub hardware, but all of the hardware in my new apartment looks ancient and does not really function to my expectation, but the apartment is overall pretty nice and I enjoy having more space, so I'll live with it, but would definitely warn anyone I recommend to live here that what you see it the model may not be exactly what you get in your new apartment. It's just a kind of quirky place, but I'm still mostly glad to call it home. The addition of the package lockers is great, too.... thanks for that!

I would recommend it overall but I would point out that there are people who like to smoke marijuana in the neighborhood and that pool is advertised as heated when it's not. To my question how is it heated, I got an answer that it's "solar heated", come on.
