Property Ratings at Sofi at Topanga Canyon
The quality of new residents and the increase in the use of Marijuana throughought the complex would make me think twice before recommending this community to others. Also the cleanliness of the community has drastically declined.
My place is very spacious and overall so quiet. It has been an awesome place to live.
I love everything about my apartment. The staff keeps the community clean and they're very friendly. The office ladies are always helpful.
Great staff, and the maintenance was taken care of swiftly.

Sofi Topanga now is the cleanest and well-kept since we have lived here. However, tenants must dispose of their own trash. Maybe letters should be sent to all tenants.

The complex is beautiful. The amenities are fantastic! The rental rates are amazing. And the staff is the dopest, most helpful, and professional in the game. I legit almost broke down in tears when I turned in my keys. And think about how much I miss living at Sofi almost daily.
I would recommend this apartment for its location , quiet and safe and competitor price and pool.
The expensive keys are really waste of rennet money especially considering how many days the doors are left unlocked and are available for easy access for outsiders
So far it's been good. Maintenance just need to be mindful of the cleanliness of the environment. Management must be strict with tenants not adhering with the rules specifically disposal of trash and dog owners train their pets not to pee on carpets' hallway. In order to keep SOFI a luxury apartment, penalties must be implemented for frequent offenders.
Requests and responses to questions are always handled so quickly and professionally.

the community is far from my job. There is no parking for guests, and guests have to walk a considerable distance. But the location (surrounding area) The apartment offers good value. And I felt safe and comfortable there.

Great customer service, clean place, lovely apartments but the carpet which I think would be better for any tenant to have wood floors.
I have recommended to a co-worker who has rented and is very pleased with the decision to rent here.
I'd recommend it to young adults without children who wouldn't mind residents smoking outdoors from time to time. Although, a smoke free complex, some residents don't care and smoke along dog path or in courtyard. Also, tough for people with asthma. I just close the doors to avoid smoke.
We would definitely recommend SOFI to friends because it's a good location, the staff has been wonderful, and the price is very reasonable for the area.

The only minor issue for me here is the parking spaces for guests. We don?t have enough spaces to invite our friends and other family members on special occasions.
neighbors are questionable. Hanging around the garage listening to music from their car, open bottles tossed around the dog run, neighbors cat calling when I come home from work.
I would recommend this complex because it is well kept up and very clean. Most of all the office staff and maintenance team are exceptional and go over and above to make sure the move went smoothly.
I would recommend this community for its amenities and size of apartments. However I would not recommend for the tandem parking spots and lack of guest parking.
The office staff and maintenance are terrific! I moved from a house to apartment and was initially concerned I would not be happy, however, the personnel you have here makes this complex really feel like a hotel! Fantastic and great staff.

Many of my friends and family prefer gas stoves over Electric. That would be a deal-breaker for many.
Great place to live but the yearly huge jumps in rent are horrible You need to take into account how long a tenant has lived there and if their rent has been paid on time w not many complaints or issues. Not just a rise in price just because.

I would not recommend this apartment community. Since the change of ownership from Cielo to the current owner. This complex is not nearly as clean as it was when I moved in almost two years ago. For the amount of rent I pay here I do expect more. The property is falling apart.
While Sofi is an upper scale complex, I think their are other places that are a better value.
The flooring in the living areas is Carpet which most places have laminate or vinyl plank that?s the main thing I?d change if I could
The biggest problem we have here is a parking issue . There is not extra parking for guest or other cars.
I?d recommend it because it?s clean, safe, and fairly new. I?d not recommend it due to how crazy Cielo was at raising rents. I assume they jacked us all up so they could show the new owners, Sofi, how much the property is worth. If Sofi keeps rent raises low, I would highly recommend it to others. If not, I wouldn?t at all.
