Property Ratings at Slate at 901
Lived here for a year. Rooms are nice, electricity works. WiFi went out a dozen times for minimum 5 days on end- namely during midterm and finals weeks. 2 windows in my apartment don’t latch correctly (even after ‘repairs’) and we have had a constant cold draft. Building Manager is painful to interact with, terrible attitude- reviews on other sites never fail to mention this. Listen- just read some reviews before leasing here, I put aside the 2 star rating when I chose to move here and learned my lesson the hard way.
Evolve is a great place to live if your looking for convenience only. The building is brilliantly placed on the Cumberland Avenue strip next to The University of Tennessee's campus. If you're a student you can get to the library in approximately 10 minutes. The building has retail space at the bottom, a movie theater, a gym and each unit is already furnished. However, with a motel feel from the cheap, uncomfortable furniture, and the pure white walls that make you feel like your anywhere but home, you're really only paying a lot of rent, for a lot of convenience.
