Property Ratings at Skyrise Luxury Apartments
I am a former tenant of the Skyrise Luxury Apartments. I was on the 21 floor and the only complaints I have would be the flue rattling in mid to high winds and the occasional elevator issues. Other than that, the apartments are spacious and quiet, the other tenants were very nice, the staff(management and maintenance) were great and we had some of the best views of the city. Being downtown is a huge plus, you’re close to everything. I always felt safe in and outside of the building. If you can, spring for parking in the garage. Wood I recommend the Skyrise yes. Would I move back, absolutely!
A few of our favourite things about living at SkyRise: 1) Location! Right on Burdick walking mall. After we had our daughter, I took the stroller on endless walks up and down the heated sidewalks, even when no one's sidewalks were shoveled. Art hop was just a hop away, so we could easily pop by for an evening stroll without having to worry about parking, etc. 2) Beauty and Ease. Every time it snowed, we'd sip our coffees and look out of our 18th-story window, watching people shovel snow and giggle. 3) Community. From the lovely ladies in the office, to the community who congregates in the common room, it was a great place to be with people. Recommend it highly!
Excellent location. The whole downtown area is walk able. They provide underground parking, which is a must in the Winter. Staff is very helpful and respond quickly and effectively to all my inquires. The maintenance group is outstanding. They respond to all requests immediately and are extremely conscientious. The neighbors are friendly and respectful. I strongly suggest Skyrise, if you want the downtown experience with excellent service.
Skyrise is without a doubt one of the best hidden gems in Kalamazoo. There's a reason the apartments are considered "luxury". From the very first interaction of engaging professionalism along with a sense of belonging, how could you not feel at home? Other tenants are welcoming, yet you still have autonomy. City living is captured here at Skyrise. If you are wanting to have the experience of living downtown while also having a retreat, this is the place for you.
