At 7,000 feet elevation in the world's largest ponderosa pine forest, Flagstaff combines mountain town living with a rich cultural scene. This high-altitude city, home to Northern Arizona University, features a downtown area where historic Route 66 architecture meets local shops and restaurants. The rental market shows average rents at $1,741, with a slight decrease of about 1% year-over-year. One-bedroom apartments average $1,663, while two-bedroom units typically rent for $2,079.
As the world's first International Dark Sky City, Flagstaff offers exceptional stargazing at the historic Lowell Observatory. The city sits just 80 miles from the Grand Canyon, while the San Francisco Peaks provide opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and skiing at Arizona Snowbowl. Notable areas include the historic downtown district with its preserved architecture, the walkable Southside neighborhood near the university, and the tree-lined streets of east Flagstaff's Continental Country Club area.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Skyline Lofts
The building is from then60s and has not really been updated since the 70s or 80. My fridge has exposed wires sticking out. My bathroom doors don't shut and there is no way to lock the master bed The garage is in horrible shape with drywall goes and all the original doors and stuff from the 60s My furnace build date was 1974 so it's super inefficient and costs alot to run. The floors feel mushy and creek under your feet No air conditioning Stove from the mid 90s Popcorn celings There is absolutely no way to speak to management. Their number is just a voice mail. They don't respond to email. Move here but you've been warned

We appreciate you reaching out regarding your apartment's current condition and are sorry to hear that you have some maintenance concerns that may need to be inspected by our team. In order for us to best assist you, we ask that you contact us directly at 602-474-3555. Thank you, and we look forward to improving your experience.
We've lived here for two years, and truly regret it. The new management company is incompetent, and treats residents as if they don't care to have them live here. Few amenities and constant construction around the complex interfere with a restful quality of life. There is trash around the complex, dogs run off leash, and management uses threatening language in all notices reminding you that you have no power if you choose to live here. Plus side is that the trees are really nice. However, it doesn't make up for the shortfalls. Combine those with increasing rents -- we will not be living here three years.
Cons: My garage flood when it rains, the furnace was built in 1967 so it very expensive to run. You cant have a barbeque Maintence never finished paintng my apartment after 11 months most of the windows are from the 70s letting your heat out bathroom has water damage which they wont fix water heater is from the early 80s washer dryer hookups, but dryer exhaust isnt up to city code. Approximately half of my outlets dont work and have exposed wires in my garage. Maintence wont fix that either garage lights dont work my entry way carpet was nasty with grime and grease, they didnt replace it. they are asking for $100 more per month for rent the parking lot does not have clear marked spaces. Parking is often a free for all. sometimes there is no parking avalible, then they give you a ticket if you park anywhere else. My neighbors sewer exploded and they took 3 weeks to clean it. All heat goes right up the flue, even with it closed the parking lot is on a downgrade, so when it snows heavy, you are stuck there. I cant get cable tv anywhere else but my kitchen. Complex wont fix it and neither will cable company. snow plow guys pllow your car in Pros: good neighborhood safe complex backs the forest.

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback! We appreciate every word we hear. I first, want to apologize for what you are going through and would love the opportunity to amend this situation. We are remodeling the parking lot come summer 2016 and will be doing major exterior and interior renovations! We sadly cannot allow gas or charcoal grills due to the forest being directly behind us and as it would be a fire hazard. If you are having maintenance problems, please call the office and I would love to speak to you directly to solve the concerns! My phone number is (928) 913-0703. Looking forward to talking with you, Anna M. Fort Valley Community Manager
We love our apartment mainly due to the fact that we have no upstairs neighbor. The apartment itself is fairly basic but because we don't have to listen to upstairs neighbors. it's amazing
