The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Silver Oak Apartments
I have yet to see Silver Oak step up to the plate with even the smallest issue of a non- working washing machine, let alone anything else, so I don't feel that I can currently provide a positive, overall review of my new home. I appreciate the clean apartment and the beautiful grounds.
Property Manager at Silver Oak Apartments, Responded To This Review
Hello, I am sorry to hear that our team has not met your expectations. We always strive to provide the best living experience to all of our residents. Please direct any specific concerns to the Leasing Office so we can address them as soon as possible. We appreciate your residency at Silver Oak. Regards, Jason B. Community Manager
When we were searching for a place to live, the tour they gave was around an updated apartment. It looked nice, and we liked the layout. We opted for a "classic" layout, instead, since it was slightly cheaper - this is where the problems began. It was advertised as being the same thing, but with carpet in the bedrooms, different countertops and cabinets. When we got here, though, the apartment looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years, with crust and deposits building up in the bathroom, broken essential appliances (including the fridge and clothes dryer), and what looks like water damage that was painted over in the kitchen. Parking is awful - there are hardly any spots that you don't have to pay an extra $45/month for, and those that you can choose to pay for are all taken. If you have a unit on the back side of the complex, expect to park far and walk home every night. It took a week to get a new fridge, the dryer still doesn't dry clothes on the first cycle (even after two maintenance calls), and someone spat on my car/rubbed dirt around on the hood while it was parked in the complex. The price was enough to get us in the door, but we're not impressed with living here so far.

Please submit a service request online so our team can address them as soon as possible. We encourage you reach out to the Leasing Office if there is anything we can do to improve your living experience. Regards, Jason B. Community Manager
Please think twice before moving into these apartments. They are overpriced and not move in ready. Maintenence of apartments is very poor, management does not care about communicating why it takes 14 days to address issues.

Hidden gem in a great location. Very quiet and updated!
This is the first apartment my wife and I have lived in and we are very happy. We love Jason and his team. Great neighbors and we love our little patch of yard with the trees.
Great community, nice neighbors, good landscaping, updated painting and water repairs and the staff is very helpful, courteous and friendly.
Silver Oak is a great place to live friendly staff and residents. Close to shopping, entertainment, you name it. Car shows, and so much more in the Vancouver mall parking lot.
Management is friendly along with the residents that live here. Location is great along with no big issues in the apartment itself.
The complex is quite, the staff is friendly and approachable. My unit is spacious.
Great community and neighbors/acquaintances are cordial and friendly. Like to see the doggos and their hoomans.
We've lived rurally for the past 20 years, and the decision to move into town happened quickly due to changing circumstances. We weren't sure how we'd like living in town, but so far we love our apartment, the proximity to all the businesses we frequent, and the staff and complex itself. The one caveat is the bedrooms. Because we have a ground floor unit (and we do love that), I had not noticed the ledge that runs along the bedroom walls and in the closets, coupled with the baseboard heaters, it's made furniture placement and figuring out how to maximize closet storage a challenge.
Good place to live, mostly quite. Great office staff, takes care of problems quickly. Everyone is very approachable and cares about your concerns. The garbage bins could be kept closed due to smell and flies.
Maintenance tech at silver oak apartments is top notch! Thanks for all your hard work
Family of 4 and we love living here. Excellent staff as maintenance department. Excellent community to just relax and enjoy life or raise children.
I'd recommend these apartments because the area from my experience has been great. The apartments stay clean, the people working are have always been nice and asking for help has never been a problem.
No parking available, some units have 3 or more cars utilizing parking spaces.
They have rules and enforce them!
Resolved it pretty fast and in a timely manner.
Great location, maintenance and staff were wonderful. Neighbors were loud and disrespectful, dog poop everywhere , residents would leave pool and gym areas dirty.
We loved living at Silver Oak Apartments.
I would recommend this complex to people without children, this complex is set up more for adults and dogs. Children have nothing to do here and the apartments aren't built to mask their noise.
YES
most of the office staff is fairly nice. they are very quick to help when problems arise. the community is well kept and the apartments are very nice. my only big problem, is that the parking situation is awful. unless you get home in the middle of the afternoon, good luck finding parking anywhere within a 1/2 mile of your unit. definitely need a better system! also I don't like that you can only have a garage OR a carport. you cant have 1 of eachif your willing to pay extra!
The maintenance team is always kind and responsive. The apartment itself is comfortable and roomy.
The office staff and all other workers have been so great and helpful
The manager and maintanence guys are very nice and professional.
Very welcoming and friendly team. So far every thing seems firm, fair, and persistent.
The friendly staff, quick maintenance and overall good vibes here.
I would recommend this apartment community because we've had no issues living here. Everyone has been kind and respectful and the only time that we've had to discuss a neighbor with the leasing office, the staff has taken our concerns seriously and the problem ended. The one thing that is frustrating is that we pay a pet rent fee each month for both dogs but don't really know what we're paying for. There were poop bags for a while but it seems like they haven't been refilled in a long time so we had to buy our own (not a huge expense or anything, but I thought the pet rent would go towards this).
The person in the leasing office that helped me was excellent.
The parking situation is tough for myself and when I have guests
I appreciate management and how efficient they are and the well maintain property. The only thing holding me back from recommending silver oak is the quality within the homes. everything feels cheap and flimsy.
Steve, who I assume to be the lead maintenance technician, has gone above and beyond to take care of me and my home. I, unfortunately, do not know the names of the other maintenance guys, but, everyone I have encountered has made me appreciate my community. I really can't thank these guys enough.
Staff and apartments are nice but overpriced. There are few handicap parking spaces and not enough parking for residents
Professional staff is primary to a good experience. I highly recommend Silver Oak
Only negative is parking & the rent plus add on cost.
The inability to control load music and children running , jumping and bouncing a ball. If you live below the running or adjacent to the music. I am not taklng about normal apt. noise.
Maintenance came out on a Sunday to fix a minor issue and did it all with a smile! He also communicated the resolution to help us understand what happened.
As explained above, quality of apartment and living conditions are not worth the price being charged
Very well maintained unit and property, quiet location, pleasant neighbors that we've met and great location near many things we like and/or need.
Hands down, the best part of our apartments is the maintenance crew. These guys are rockstars!!
The amenities need to be fully operable and accessible. There is a lack of operable gym equipment and the indoor/outdoor hot tubs rarely work!
Sometimes one has more interaction with maintenance than office, not because everything breaks but because one can do so much online and I see them everywhere! Steve and the crew are friendly, courteous, humorous, and skilled!
My only reservation is the size of master bedroom and living room floorplan. But the leasing agent was TERRIFIC and Silver Oak seems to be a wonderful community.
Everyone is incredibly friendly and very willing to help us with anything we need assistance with.
I've had nothing but a positive experience while living here. I love that it's so pet friendly.
Super spacious and affordable apartment! We love our neighbors and feel very safe here. The pool is always clean and has been so much fun to have on hot summer days.
Eric is the main reason I?d recommend the apartment. He makes my life easier with his light hearted yet professional banter. He?s the reason I?ve stayed here as long as I have. I?ve yet to have any problems with anything under his leadership. I don?t like paying the rent that I do as the apartment is not up to my expectation for the price I?m paying but Eric makes up for it.
Parking is a nightmare, all spots should be for residents and assigned with street parking for guests and extra vehicles.
1. Bathroom fan on the floor below makes terrible noise, resonating throughout the bedroom on Mondays at 5 am and on Saturdays at 10 pm. 2. The person who designed the apartments never lived in a apartment, otherwise wouldn't put bedroom window to the parking lot and living room to the back yard. 3. Electric oven sucks (oh, well...)
