Surrounded by dramatic rimrock cliffs in the Yellowstone Valley, Billings combines city living with outdoor adventure. As Montana's largest city, it serves as the region's economic and medical center. The rental market remains steady, with one-bedroom apartments averaging $1,278, reflecting a 5% annual increase. The Heights neighborhood continues to expand with new residential developments, while downtown features converted loft apartments above local businesses. The South Hills and West End neighborhoods offer apartment communities and residential options.
Montana State University Billings and Rocky Mountain College contribute to the city's educational landscape, while the medical corridor includes St. Vincent Healthcare and Billings Clinic. The 30-mile trail system connects neighborhoods throughout the city, with the Beartooth Mountains visible on the horizon. Downtown's brewery district includes established venues like Uberbrew and Thirsty Street Brewing.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Shiloh Commons
Recently moved from California, by myself! Everyone at the leasing office has been so friendly, helpful, personable, and welcoming. I love the apartment itself; high ceilings, very modern, super clean and quiet buildings. The shops and restaurants, within walking distance, have been especially nice to have as I navigate the new city by myself (the food is delicious!). The neighbors offer to gather for roof top themed meet/greets twice a month (completely optional); I’ve only recently made it to my first one, but it was a blast to meet such friendly new people and feel so welcomed. Whether looking for luxury living or community, this place has both; executed with such ease because everyone is so genuine and happy to be here. Im on my own for the first time in a long time, but I don’t feel alone, thanks to my move to Shiloh Commons…if that makes sense?
My wife and I have lived here for about a year. We are retired and wanted a pet friendly place, on-site management, indoor parking, ability to walk to some amenities, and higher end finishes. We found what we wanted at Shiloh Commons. The residence is very pet friendly and there is also a very nice and well maintained dog park about a mile away. The on-site management is very professional. The parking is in the basement and is heated. There are several walkable amenities—-a very nice yoga studio, a wonderful small shop with lots of local goods including some staples like local greens, local ready to go soups, restaurants, and the apartment itself is very nice. So, there are many pluses. In terms of negatives, there is quite a bit of Road noise on Shiloh Road and it would be great if there was a small shop/bodego type thing that was walkable, but no place is perfect. Overall, we are really happy here and I recommend you take a look.
From the moment you step foot on the property, it is clear that the management team and staff go above and beyond to ensure residents have an enjoyable and comfortable living experience. The apartments themselves are beautifully designed with modern finishes and spacious layouts that are perfect for individuals and families alike. Each unit features large windows that let in natural light and offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The kitchen is fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, and the bathrooms are immaculate with plenty of storage space. I am definitely excited to end my lease and move in!
Have lived here a little over a year. Apartments are spacious, modern and well built. The common areas are well kept. I especially love having a climate controlled garage. Office and maintenance staff are very attentive. The rent is not cheap, but I believe it's one of the best apartment complexes in Billings.
Definitely recommend! We’ve lived here for a little over 2 months and have zero complaints. The apartments are very quiet, management is fantastic, buildings are secure, and buildings (inside and outside grounds) are very clean. We love the heated underground parking!

Thank you for your kind review! We are happy to hear you have had such a great experience here at Shiloh Commons.
Great apartments, they are high end and built like it. I have not heard any neighbors through the walls, not even anyone above us. All stainless steel appliances that work great. We love the rooftop deck, there is a gas grill and a gas fire pit. We enjoy spending evenings up there. Overall a great community.
