We've had a great experience living at Shadow Ridge Apartments in Simi Valley. The management team, especially Shannon and Sommerville, are fantastic—super friendly, responsive, and always willing to help. They really make the community feel welcoming and well taken care of. The amenities are also a big highlight. The pool and spa are always clean and relaxing.The whole property is quiet, safe, and beautifully maintained. I had a great experience at the Shadow Ridge apartments. Ms. Somerville showed me around the complex and units. She was very helpful and answered all my questions. When I had further questions Somerville followed up promptly. My experience with Somerville and Shadow Ridge apartments was a total contrast from another apartment complex that just gave me keys and a map and sent me solo to look at the apartment and around the complex. Shadow Ridge is managed well and the grounds and amenities are wonderful.

I have been living here for 3 years. I enjoy living here. The grounds are very well kept and the upper pool and hot tub are a very nice amenity here. I am in the process of moving within the complex and Shannon and the office staff are wonderful! Shannon really went to bat for me to help me get access to something and I am soooo appreciative of her help! Somerville has also been extremely nice and pleasant to work with and is helping to make the transfer process smoother. Never had an office staff be accommodating and welcoming and helpful beyond all expectations. Thank you ladies!! ??

Everyone on the Shadowridge team is superb. They are responsive, fantastic communicators, and they follow through with what they say they're going to do. When we moved from the east coast and started looking for an apartment, we often wouldn't hear from people for weeks. We heard from Somerville right away. She even gave us a real time Zoom tour of the apartments and we ended up signing on the spot. Since moving in a month ago, everything has been wonderful. Problems (not that there have been many!) are resolved immediately, the staff remains super responsive, friendly and helpful, and the residents and facilities are top-notch. We couldn't be happier!

From the start, my family and I felt incredibly welcomed by the Shadow Ridge team specifically Erin who guided us through the entire leasing process and went above and beyond to answer any of the questions we had. It was a very quick turnaround time with the apartment we wanted but everything worked out fine. There were a few things in the apartment that could’ve been detailed better so we put in a bunch of maintenance requests upon moving in and they were super helpful with that.

Recently moved into shadowridge apartments. Very good apartments, great location - close to target, habit burger and Starbucks. Love the amenities, and a very responsive and friendly leasing team. I was helped by Somerville in my move in, she was super nice and it was a very quick process.

I recently moved in at Shadowridge. The experience was mostly good as the team answered my questions timely and completely. My hold back is that my experience felt very pressured. I felt like I did a lot of jumping through hoops to move in faster than I wanted and meet management needs but it was not reciprocated. It would have been great if communication were clearer and reasonable expectations maintained. Overall it is a great property and I’m happy with my new apartment.

I have been on the hunt for an apartment for about a week and ShadowRidge really stood out to me. I was welcomed by such polite wonderful and genuine staff. I met with Somerville for a tour and she really took her time to show me around the property we walked through all the great amenities, such as a dog park, gym, theatre and valet trash!!! Other places I had toured didn’t take the time to show me around. I could tell Somerville is proud to work there and she’s very good at her job! Throughout the move in process she kept me updated and was easily reachable. Neighborhood is quiet and I feel safe, I def made the right choice!

I have lived here for nearly 2 years. I’m giving 2 stars due to my experience with management’s handling of policies and how they enforce them. The staff is very friendly which can be misleading. Read your contracts carefully because what they say and what you sign up for will not align. Pros: - Beautiful grounds and excellent landscapers - Maintenance - a lot of stuff is older but they replace and/fix quickly - Management - polite, good at admin, and prompt to respond Cons: - Hidden fees and costs. Add $480/year for trash to start - The contracts have a clause that gives them to freedom to write new rules. - The new rules tend to be expensive inconveniences and they tend to enforce these with an iron fist - No resolution. You can voice a complaint or ask for clarity and they only respond with corporate politeness, point back to contracts, and give you the run around until you just give up.

The office staff and maintenance crew are very responsive and helpful. Ashley was so helpful getting us our new apartment. We had some issues when we first moved in, but Sam came right away to take care of them. We love the location and the complex!

Don’t move here. Upon move out they will put all charges on you, cleaning, painting, and carpet cleaning. All things they have to do anyway. Even if you leave the apartment completely clean. I understand if we left the place a mess, but we cleaned the entire apartment before moving out. It was not dirty and the carpets were not soiled at all. The only thing I can understand is there was a small whole in the wall where a command strip didn’t work as advertised. That I would pay for but I will not pay for cleaning when I spent hours with my husband and mother in law scrubbing the apartment.

I recently moved in to Shadow Ridge apartments these apartments are very nice and clean newly renovated . Quit neighborhood . Very nice staff and helpful. Moises was very helpful from start to finish. Just want to say thank you to all the staff .
The apartment complex is amazing. The maintenance staff fixes any issue within a couple days. The previous complex that I lived in had horrible parking, but here is there is both assigned and unassigned parking for me and my guests. The office staff is always great as well. We just resigned our lease and we’re looking forward to the rest of our stay!
We hadn’t been looking long but we came to this community because of the great reviews. Within a week we knew this is where we wanted to be. Janet was an absolute angel and truly made the whole process easy and smooth.
My wife and I enjoy living at Shadow Ridge. The office and maintenance team are very friendly and always there for you when you need them. The gym is well equipped and parking is never an issue for us. You really feel at home here. Thank you Shadow Ridge! Keep up the good work!
Living at Shadow Ridge was a horrible experience. After moving into an apartment filled with hair and brown splatter marks all over the kitchen, we discovered that the laundry machine, dishwasher and shower did not work properly. We had maintenance come out every single week for the first few months and after they did nothing to fix anything we finally stopped calling. BLACK MOLD in the bathroom. Rude employees and terrible service, it was the worst living experience I have had and my neighbors in close proximity felt the same way. Really shady, bad bad people.
I love living at Shadowridge Apartments. The ground are lovely, beautiful pool and hot tub. My apartment is gorgeous as well.
Ridgegate apartments is in great proximity to all the major locations. A five minute walk will get you to target, sub-zero, the habit, and much more. A 10 minute drive will get you to Westlake, California Lutheran University, and the Oaks mall. The apartment complex is kept clean and in great condition. Monthly activities are put on by the complex that range from bbqs to pool parties. These activities are a great way to meet other people in the complex.
