As Wisconsin’s capital and second largest city, Madison is situated in the heart if America’s Dairyland. Aside from the city’s farming history, Madison is also known for its lakeside recreation and relaxation on Lake Mendota, Lake Monona, and Lake Waubesa. Interstates 90 and 94 make commuting as easy as possible in the area, even to major metropolises like Milwaukee, located roughly 80 miles east of town on Lake Michigan.
Home to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Madison draws in many residents for its college sports and top-notch educational opportunities. Between the Badgers basketball and hockey games at the Kohl Center to the Badgers football Games at Camp Randall Coliseum, there’s always a college game to cheer for. The university features all kinds of entertainment options, including the University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum, a major natural attraction in the city.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Seven Oaks Apartments
Since I had know choice but to give them some kind of stars, I gave them 1. If it was up to me I wouldn’t give them any. From the mold growing in my home, from snakes and mice getting in. Management has know sense in urgency. They take forever to fix stuff. Just horrible horrible , did I say mice and snakes getting in already ?
Parking is ridiculous, then they offer garages for 55 dollars a month and if your car gets towed be ready to drive all the way to Sun Prairie and pay $221. Tittle has to be in your name in order to get a parking sticker doesn't matter if your parents gave you a car. Only allowed one key per adult. They charge 50 dollars per extra key. Too much crime going on here, kids&adults fighting, gang rape back in January, drug raids, management in your apartment without proper notices, putting work orders in under your children name. Don't let this place fool you with the small business center and bingo once every month. The hallways smell awful, instead of them cleaning the carpet they put air freshners up.
Property Manager at Seven Oaks Apartments, Responded To This Review
Good Afternoon- We are sorry that you are not enjoying your stay with us here at Seven Oaks. Parking is strict but those are the rules put in place by management, we are here to enforce those rules. All you need is a title or registration in your name and you can get a parking permit OR you will have to park in visitor parking and your vehicle will not get towed. We do have key fobs, they are very expensive. One key per adult should be enough. It's not as easy as taking the key to the hardware store and getting a copy made. Per your lease we always give a 12 hour notice to enter your apartment unless there is an emergency and we need to enter. Work orders automatically come up in the residents name so there is no way for it to get entered under a child's name. We do clean the carpets as they need to be cleaned, which we do several times a year. The air fresheners are just an added bonus. :) Please contact me if you would like to discuss further. Thank you and have a great day!
This was very 1st time and it was a horrible.experience the staff who was there when I left.in 2015 is rude , the landlord is never at work , they don't care about their residents they never fix anything in the apartment , the apartments have a chance to be good but due to the management its a horrible place to live I tried to leave a.month before.my lease end and they refuse to let me.leave on good terms instead they took me to court even after.I told her I need to leave because of.my health issues I could no longer work . Horrible.place Dont rent to them go to Pheasant Ridge/Sycamore woods
The Seven Oaks Apartments could be a great place to live if the owners would take better care of the place and have actual security guards, more then one please. Only reason I moved here was because it was the only place I could afford after my father was diagnosed with cancer. When I first moved in I noticed a bunch of things, like a bullet hole on my window. Lot of things they told me was going to fixed never where fixed. They even changed management and now it even got worse, they have no care for the place and the lady in charge of the front desk is totally rude and is never on time at work and leaves 30 minutes before the closing time. This is sad because the apartment has plenty of potential. It has two pools, three laundry mats, and a playground. If I had the money to be owner I would make some changes and it is in a great location for those who work in the medical field.
newly remodeled, yes, only to cover up leaking pipes leading to the water baseboard heaters. report that you smell mildew, they respond if you can not see it (leaking), they will do nothing about it. as they are newly remodeled to cover. If you have allergies, tough luck. free internet, but not on the week ends, no internet til Monday. only been here a few months and can not wait one year to move.
