I enjoyed my two stay at Sentral. I had a 1 bedroom condo on the 20th floor and the condo was amazing and the view of Chicago was beautiful. The staff were amazing! They were very welcoming and helpful. Thank you Eurenice and everyone who worked the front desk.

Sleek entrance, computer check in. V spacious apartment, had a good view, loads of natural light. Shower pressure strong (Altho fixture itself is a bit tricky to work), bed comfy, WiFi good. One of windows was faulty and wouldn’t close flush. The doors rattle in their frames cos of draft/wind (had to be blocked with towels etc to stop them so we could sleep) Stylish, simple decor Communal areas nice Altho games room shut at 11pm without notice (no hours of op posted anywhere) Didn’t use pool or gym but they looked good! Walkable from ‘central’ but we used Uber mostly to get about.

We just signed our third lease here at Sentral and have loved every minute living here. The views are unmatchable and stunning. We particularly enjoy watching the fireworks from our apartment at Navy Pier. The amenities are great and are always clean. The staff, management, and other tenants are all respectful and genuinely good people. The management especially is very responsive and goes above and beyond to make sure tenants enjoy their time living here. The neighborhood is safe and has great restaurants nearby. We cannot recommend Sentral more.

I moved to Sentral four months ago and absolutely love it here! The building has 24-hour security, a pool, a gym, and weekly social events. Everyone is super nice. I can't think of a better apartment complex.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay at Sentral Michigan Avenue. As a Sentral resident at another location, I got a 15% discount for my reservation, so I got the premium 2 bedroom apartment, which provides views to both the city and the water. Amenities are also great, they got a beautiful infinity pool, an outdoor hot-tub, a full on gym with Pelotons, yoga room, etc. The apartment comes with cookware, detergents, body wash, shampoo & conditioner, the usual stuff you get at hotels minus the house keeping (which is $150/clean). Location is awesome since it is right in front of Grant Park and Michigan Ave, so if you take the bus, the bus stop that takes you to Magnificent Mile is just across the street (takes about 15 mins walking to Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, and Art Institute). Overall, I would highly recommend Sentral to anyone visiting Chicago for the first time.

Just returned from a stay at Sentral Michigan Avenue and WOW. Right from the start I knew I made the right choice with their communication after I booked and their providing information to make my stay and check-in easy and hassle free. Location was great right in the center of Michigan Ave close to great restaurants, attractions and public transportation. I was able to easily check myself in and even make my own keys for the room. My room was spectacular and had the BEST view I've ever had in a Chicago hotel. I could see all the way down from Millenium park to Soldier Field with the most amazing sunset and sunrises. The Amenities were 5 star caliber from their indoor pool (key in chicago, Game room (arcade, pool, board games), community kitchen that looked like it belonged in a multi million dollar home and access to several grills for barbequing, and Gym that is better looking than most health clubs I've been too. Gym had something for every health enthusiasts whether you're into cardio, weights, cross fit, etc. A collegue also travelled with me but stayed at another property and quickly after seeing the property wished he stayed at Sentral Michigan as well. I'm excited that I was able to find this place and it will now always be where I stay when I come to chicago.
Stayed here with SO for a conference at McCormick Place. Close proximity to food, attractions, and water. Lovely staff. Spacious clean room with a modern design! Would definitely stay again! :)

These apartments are fabulous. They were spotlessly clean. Facilities superb. Views from the swimming pool and hot tub were awesome. Could lie in my bed and see the unique Chicago skyline. Staff super friendly. Apartments were well equipped. I was only there a week so didn’t need use of washing machine tumble drier etc but they were there if having a longer stay. The communal facilities were great too. If I come to Chicago again I will look at Sen+ral first to stay.

Amazing views, check. Beautiful amenities, check. Close to most all of the most beautiful and iconic parts of Chicago, check. This place is amazing, though all things said I would still say it’s made most amazing by the staff. They were some of the best part of coming home. Big shout out to Mael and the crew for all of the conversation, kindness, and taking care of us and the building so well. Never would’ve left but the crime in Chicago is just getting out of control.

Hi there, I have stayed in Sentral Michigan with my family for a week. The location was super central, it’s just across the park on the Michigan Ave. and almost in the beginning of the “magnificent mile” and is very convenient to reach to the metro/bus stations. Chicago river is 20mins away by wall. I would like to highlight the level of professional service you could expect. The common spaces were always clean and maintained regularly. The staff was always available responding to any of our requests instantly. I personally enjoyed morning coffee served during the morning. I would like to thank to the staff and the property management team for their efforts handling our requests as well as keeping the place up and running. I recently moved to the states and this was my first experience of renting a long-term. My friends warned me that I could face a lot of problems, but Central made my experience absolutely comfortable. This rental has everything for a comfortable stay. I also really like the area.

The location of this property is in a very nice area of Chicago and the apartments have incredible views of the city! The seventh floor community area was truly amazing. Great pool area, game room, gym and outdoor decks! This property has something for everyone to enjoy! The staff was welcoming and very helpful throughout my stay. We stayed at this location for a quick visit to Chicago. The room was stunning with the most incredible views of the water and parts of Chicago! We loved the amenities and enjoyed spending time in the chef's corner area as well as the winter garden. Great walkability to local restaurants and the Navy Pier for lunch. Couldn't have asked for more - great staff, great view, relaxed vibe. Was here for 3 weeks and my pup loved it too, being so close to a dog park, lots of grass and geese to chase by the water. Not a ton of sexy restaurants around but that's a small thing considering all the good stuff. All in all, super satisfied and grateful for responsive management, in particular, Michael.

moved into SENTRAL in August of 2020 so am a long term resident. I can’t speak highly enough of the location but more importantly, the people. I recently had COVID and everyone from our general manager to our wonderful front desk team went above and beyond to help me. The features and location of this building sells itself--incredible, unrivaled views, top-tier amenity spaces, friendly staff and neighbors, fun and frequent resident events, well-maintained and always clean, the list goes on and on. What sets this apartment community apart from all the other buildings of its caliber is the management and leasing staff. You will never find a team that will go above and beyond for you the way the Sentral team does. They will always have your best interest, safety, and your well-being at heart and are quick to accommodate each of our needs (specific shout out to Volkan, the General Manager). They are responsive when you reach out to them, they organize awesome events for the residents to meet and mingle, they resolve any issue you may have (which will be very few and far between), and they make a point to genuinely care, value, and appreciate each resident of this building. You will not find that anywhere else, I am certain. I moved in as soon as it was built and intend to stay as long as I can.

We stayed at Sentral for 2 years and absolutely loved our time here. The building is beautiful, clean, pet-friendly, and well-managed. We had a spectacular view of the lake, the Bean, the downtown area, Buckingham Fountain, and Grant Park. The staff is very warm and friendly and a special shout-out to Volkan for being exceptionally helpful whenever we needed anything! We would love to return to the building if we move back to Chicago.

Wow, what beautiful (clean) property! I was blown away by the incredible hospitality from the team that works there. From the General Manager to the Building Services staff, everyone was a joy to interact with. Even though I was far from home, Sentral Michigan Ave felt like family. Highly recommend!

This building is nothing sort of extraordinary! The team always goes out of their way to make sure we had what we needed and couldn't recommended this place enough.
Sentral Chicago is amazing. The location, amenities, view from apartments, and everyone from management to neighbors and service people are incredible. The management especially goes above and beyond with being extremely friendly and professional, fixing all the issues fast and setting up incredible monthly events. We have only great things to say but words dont do justice in describing the great experience we have living in Sentral Chicago.

I have been in this community for 6 months and loved in other high rise buildings in the city. Sentral tops all of them. Today management office served Turkish breakfast. I have never had this kind of service in any high rise.

This property is incredible! The ideal location and amazing views are unbelievable. It was a quick walk or uber ride to all the best places in Chicago. Being able to look over the lake and city everything morning was a dream. The luxury and level of care provided by the management and building are exceptional. I never had any issues and only positive interactions with staff and the facilities. Look no further you have found the PERFECT Chicago apartment. I feel so lucky to have stayed here.

First of all our apartment is beautiful and the view is amazing. My wife and I recently moved here from California. Both new to Chicago. We toured several nice places that would have been fine to chose. However the real difference here was the staff at Sentral. They are so friendly, helpful and welcoming and made us feel like we were at home. We could not be happier with our choice and highly recommend Sentral to anyone looking for a luxury high rise apartment in Chicago.

This place feels JUST like a hotel. I stayed Here for a week and was gonna switch places just in case i didn’t like it, but ended up extending my stay here at SENTRAL because I loved it too much! Everything is so clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. Access to high quality amenities was a high priority for me. I could Also either walk or take a short Uber to anywhere I wanted to go to. BEST PLACE EVER !!!

Staff here is awesome, and holy smokes the views from the lakeside units are insane! West side (aka the sunset side) would be awesome to live in too! Management reads and responds to emails quickly, and will always listen to concerns, doing what is realistic to address them. Gym: top notch Pool: small but never busy There are more amenities, and they’re all clean, classy, and well-designed. Love it here.

Unit items break down at least once a month, they play music outside on the amenities floor so if you live in a lower unit then kiss the quiet goodbye, you’ll be hearing music all hours of the day and night and they refuse to turn it down or off. They’ve created a culture that doesn’t fit the cost of living here.

Security and safety is a major concern Amenities are overcrowded The dog run is absolutely disgusting with pee indoors and out that isn't cleaned up for hours. On multiple occasions I have walked into elevators with dog urine, spilled drinks/alcohol, and trash Management is extremely rude to residents. Completely unreasonable and inconsiderate With COVID regulations in place, management doesn't care to follow the rules and wear masks. The trash chute is always jammed (I'm talking every weekend) and some residents will then leave their trash in the halls so it smells awful The package hub is occasionally full or out of service so you can't get your packages Windows always seem to break / need maintenance on the amenity floors Lots of complaints of dogs barking throughout the building At times, there will be lines out the door to get on an elevator (when people are moving / hotel rooms are fully booked)

I apologize you feel your security is compromised as we do have all of our entrances securely locked with each key fob labeled in the system for us to review. Our residents are allowed to bring in guests to visit which would not be registered just like any other building. We want all our our residents to be able to enjoy the community and the amenities, but fully expect them to be respectful of others and the amenity spaces. In regards to the dog run as are asking the teams to make more sweeps and monitoring and trying to identify who might be leaving messes behind as there is a fee associated with this. We also have put up signs and ask individuals to wear masks while in the building, but we can't force people or fins them for this. We would be more than happy to discuss over the phone or in person.
We told the General Manager of Sentral Michigan Ave yesterday that we are definitely staying for another year. In truth, we looked at many larger apartments for less money before we made this final decision to renew. However, we didn’t feel these spaces had the community and soul of this place. Not to mention the amenities and location of Sentral Michigan Avenue. Most important, we love our apartment and are grateful for the last 2+ years to wake up every day to the most amazing sunrises over Lake Michigan and city views. Security is a big issue. At least half of the units in this building are short term rentals. People act like they own the place. They harass others, trash the place, and hog all the common areas. Moreover, they book one unit and bring many of their friends to party. Front desk does not check anyone's info. They let everyone walk through the door. There are supposedly key fobs to take the elevator but they're fake. Any key fob can go to any floor. Management is downright deceptive. They will not tell you about any of these issues and when you sign the lease, they'll treat you as if you have no rights.

I regret moving to Essex On The Park. (FYI--a lot of these other reviews here are not legit or at minimum have been due to residents being compensated via a points system for writing reviews) OVERVIEW-- PROS: -The staff (front desk, custodial, maintenance and event staff) -The views -The building looks nice CONS: -Safety -Parking -Noise -Professionalism/”Bait and switch” -Construction -Trash/Recycling Issues -Closures -Poor Value -Hotel Guests -Internet Issues Safety is a huge issue here. There are random hotel guests (via Sonder) that throw parties, disregard COVID guidelines, don't have health/safety checks or background checks, and who are often rude in common spaces. I could go on and on about the issues, but I will exceed the character limit. I highly HIGHLY encourage you to look elsewhere. I don't know any of my neighbors who are actually happy with this building. The general consensus is that it is way overpriced for what you get.
