Property Ratings at Seasons of Cherry Creek
I'm a current tenant and any good review is fake. The Seasons is falling apart and mismanaged. There is NO AC. It's been going on for years. Currently June 2025 and again no AC. Boilers are on their last legs and don't work. Broe put in a Bar rather than replace the failing systems. There is no heat in the winter. Same boiler system breaks down constantly in the winter as well. Hot water - nope we don't get that consistently either. Working elevators. Nope those don't work consistently either. Broe does bare minimum to keep systems functioning and decided to put in a bar that none of the residents go to rather than fix the building systems that are over 40yrs old. So no basics no consistent AC, Heat or hot water or working elevators, or clean functioning laundry rooms. Units are falling apart as well. I'd stay far away from this building.
I have been living at The Seasons for over a year now, and it has been a fantastic experience! The management team is always friendly and responsive. Meghan has been extremely helpful. The amenities are top-notch, with a beautiful pool, a well-equipped gym, and great community spaces for gatherings. The grounds are always well-maintained, and I love how peaceful the environment is.
BROE Mgmt took over this property during the summer of 2023. Broe seems unable to reasonably maintain the apartments and grounds. Broe is also seriously lacking in reasonable communications with the residents. Broe sends out short notice "move your stuff or it will be removed" notices. The pool and hot tub was down for months during the Fall. In a resident hallway, at one point, more than 5 cieling lights were out for an extended period of time. When BROE first took over, they made investments in superficial aesthtetics, yet dont' seem to be focused on maintaining the property for residents.
I renewed my lease because I have loved it here for almost 3 years and trusted new ownership would keep it going. We have had nothing but problems ever since - elevators constantly broken in buildings and garage, hot water issues constant with frequent turn offs, repeated incidents of no heat, the jacuzzi was out of commission for over 3 months and then sporatic at best after that, half the washers and dryers are now broken regularly, the entry doors are broken regularly, the 'free' coffee machines are ALWAYS broken and/or unusable due to needing a rinse or a filter....the list goes on. Its absolutely insane how downhill this place has gone down with the new ownership. I am not a picky person but i wish I hadn't renewed. I stayed bc of the amenities, and now everything is broken and has been regularly for months. Its like whack-a-mole with what works on a daily basis. But hey, they offer free bagels and random things like that -- note to BROE, the residents dont care about cheap bagels and donuts when we can't do our laundry, have to carry things up 5 flights of stairs, and can't the amenities that we are already paying for!!
I seriously don’t think I would live here for free having experienced what I have in the last year and a half. If you want a property that just slaps a bandaid on every issue. And I’m talking a dollar tree non waterproof with no adhesive off brand band aid then yeah; rent here. First things first; when Red Peak owned this property the lobby in building A always had the heat on in the winter. Now, Broe owns this property and of course the heat is on in the winter in the C building where their office is, but no other building. It feels like a walk in cooler when you get off the elevator. Second; my apartment unit is an absolute dump. The AC was broken from August to September with multiple calls to fix it. My garbage disposal broke and took 3 calls to fix it. My microwave broke in September with multiple calls to fix it, and they finally replaced it with an enormous microwave that takes up the very little counter space we have. It’s overlapping into the sink. Upon replacing it I was told that they would be ordering new ones in about a week. But maybe it’s like dog years and 7 months is a week. Who knows. Thirdly; it takes a literal half hour for my shower to get hot in the primary bedroom, and while it’s heating the drain is clogged so it can easily overflow. Which you guessed it, I’ve called multiple times to get fixed. These are a few of the issues I’ve encountered here. If I wrote them all it would be too long to read.
I have been addressing the trash issue with management since moving in six months ago. Their continued neglect has led to a rodent infestation in my apartment.
The application and leasing process were unnecessarily protracted due to poor communication. We had to pay an additional month's rent at our previous apartment because the Seasons couldn't get our apartment ready for move-in. Our apartment flooded due to broken pipes two floors above us. This is a chronic plumbing issue they did not warn us about (even though we asked about any such problems). We were in sub-standard temporary accommodations for months. When we were finally allowed to return to our home, we experienced significant disruptions due to ongoing construction above us, next door, in the hallway. Throughout, management avoided us when they could, lied to us when they couldn't avoid us. Contractors hired by RedPeak damaged our property. Initially, RedPeak promised to compensate us for the damage. While admitting responsibility for the damage, they have since declined to make this right. Overall, the property is poorly maintained. Secure entrances are often broken and either open without a fob or don't open at all. The dog park is in very poor condition, resulting in a number of injuries to dogs. The area around our building is an ongoing construction zone even though it was built a decade ago. We have restricted access to our home, to the parking garage, and to the rest of the property. Nightmare. Avoid.
The Seasons is a nice complex on a surface level, but the older units are in pretty poor shape. We moved in at the height of the lockdown and had many issues with our unit when only emergency maintenance requests were being honored. Some of these issues ended up being used against us to justify outlandish charges after we moved out, and management wasn’t receptive to extending the same courtesy of tolerance that we extended to them during a pandemic. We also received constant emails warning against marijuana smoking. Yes, the occasional smell was annoying, but the constant barrage of warnings and letters on residents’ doors was far more irritating than neighbors imbibing. The fire alarm for the entire building went off more times than I can count during our stay at The Seasons, oftentimes in the middle of the night, rarely with any sort of explanation. The in-unit smoke detectors are also poorly placed and therefore ridiculously sensitive. They would go off almost anytime we opened the oven and we would hear neighbor’s alarms going off through the walls and while walking around the complex on a daily basis. Additionally, none of our light switches controlled any outlets, and we had to screw our cabinet doors back on, on multiple occasions. I would not recommend choosing this complex or any other Redpeak property.
The Seasons of Cherry Creek was a phenomenal place for us to live. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and giving of their time to make your experience there superb. I would highly recommend living here & the only reason we left was to move states to be closer to family. 5 Star place.
My husband and I moved from NYC to Denver this year, and love our 1-br at the Seasons of Cherry Creek. The management (RedPeak), maintenance and cleaning staff are prompt, particular and very easy to contact. The residents here are from all over the country (and the world, in some cases) and have often just moved to Denver--though there's a lot of old-timers too. The apartments are sunny, the amenities are excellent, and there's a lot of leisure options and building events available all the time.
The Seasons of Cherry Creek is in a darling neighborhood. Just two blocks from the Cherry Creek Mall, it is in a great location for people of all ages. The fitness center, pool, sauna, and grills are all cherries on top of a wonderful apartment complex!
Overall, this is a great place to live. It's an older building where things break down a lot, but the issues are addressed. The computer notification system for packages and maintence has glitches, but the staff in general, is nice and helpful. They have regular events and free workout classes for the residents. The neighbors tend to be very polite and the walls are thick, so you rarely hear them. It's very pet freindly and a fantastic location. It might be a little over-priced for the quality but it is cherry creek.
