Property Ratings at Schooner Cove
The foundation is so poor your homes will be full of mildew, mold, and moisture. The staff is so passive and so does not care to make any effort for their shortcomings. The maintenance team will deny you of emergency maintenance and will leave you with no heat in 45 degree weather. I’ve counted a number of 4 tenants that have allegations of maintenance stealing from their homes. They will serve you papers then when you address it, say “oh you can disregard we don’t know why you got that” .
This apartment is very noisy for one. The front desk assistants and management take days to get back with you over issues. the windows are cheap seeping air through them and the walls are thin.
I love my spacious 2-bdrm apartment. I have a quiet 3rd floor sunny apartment that allows me to enjoy my lake view all year round. I have ample parking space and lots of storage. The grounds of my community, Schooner Cove, is like a park with tennis courts, a swimming pool, and walking paths along Ford Lake. My home has a resort feel to it with resort fees.

I recently moved into Schooner Cove apartments and have been very satisfied so far. The unit, grounds and community areas are all well maintained. My daughter has used the exercise room and pool on several occasions and it is always clean. I love the mature trees and lake views - not to mention the fireworks on the 4th, we were able to watch from our patio! The office staff and maintenance staff is friendly and helpful. When I first moved in there were a few small issues, maintenance took care of all of them within 24 hours. I even got a follow up call from the office to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a convenient location that feels away from the "hustle and bustle" so to speak.
I love this apartment! It is gorgeous inside and out. Private entry, washer and dryer in unit, and a unique floor plan for the area. We have had minimal issues with neighbors, no issues with package delivery. Any time we have a maintenance concern it is resolved within 24-48 hours. I highly recommend this complex.
Here at Scooner Cove you have a beautiful quiet, pet friendly, lake side community. The spacious one and two bedrooms features an enclosed building, central air, large closet space, sunroom with washers and dryers inside every unit. The three bedroom features 2bath with washer and dryer inside the spacious apartment. There's plenty parking spaces for you and your guest. Amenities feature 24/7 fitness center, pool, sand volleyball court and tennis court to fit you and your family's recreational needs. Living here at Schooner Cove, my apartment is not just an apartment, it's home! My spacious two bedroom apartment has an enclosed porch that I can enjoy year round with Michigan weather. Best of all, I have a view of Ford Lake and can enjoy watching the boats and skiers. For maintenance needs, the maintenance guys are quick and professional. I feel like I live in a park due to all the trees, the walking paths, the boat piers, the swimming pool and tennis courts.
