The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Manager at Schoettler Village, Responded To This Review
We couldn't have asked for a better review! Thank you for supporting Schoettler Village Apartments.
I have been living here for the past one year and have been very satisfied with the overall experience. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful and I have always been able to get all issues resolved promptly. The only one thing that I feel would be nice to know is how utility bills are calculated esp elec of common areas, sewage, garbage etc. They vary each month and some transparency there would help.
Property Manager at Schoettler Village, Responded To This Review
Thanks for sharing your positive experience at Schoettler Village Apartments! We're happy to hear you've had a great year with us and appreciate the feedback on utility bill transparency. We'll definitely look into providing more information about how those charges are calculated. Have a fantastic day!
Any request I have made have been done with in 24 hours. I love how they communicate with you by email as well.
For the location to everything necessary that is close in proximity, relative tranquility, nice neighbors, friendly apartment management and staff, prompt Maintenance staff response on any issues, cleanliness and upkeep of surrounding properties, professionalism, courtesy and positivity when interacting with residents, various fun residential events, other welcomed amenities and relative safety here have overall positively impacted my choice of residence to become a sanctuary away from my daily stressful job.
Im happy living here. For a senior on fixed income, my income stretches thin. Some things I dont like paying for like garbage door pick up. I take my own garbage just like the other renters. The staff is very nice and maintenance workers are trust worthy and thorough in their duties.
1.Administration has never gotten back to me about prior issues 2.Maintenance man stole from me 3.Car was broken into 4.Assigned parking spots constantly taken 5.Tow truck used by apartment only open until 5pm 6.Basements constantly floods 7.Mold in my hallway 8.Plumbing was messed up first day I moved in and had been a constant issue ever since
Schoettler Village is an amazing community. The property is well kept and the staff are superb.
Schoettler Village is a very good community. Management is also very helpful. I never faced any issues here except water and utility charges. Water and utility charges are very high here. Overall good community.
The staff are very nice people... very helpful. Aesthetically, (my apartment at least and the other one I was shown) just isnt worth the money being paid. If my children didnt want to go back to their old school/district, I would have passed on renting but I really had limited options.
This place is horrible at giving out information. As we arrived to move in, the office had no idea we were even moving in. No information was given about how and where to acquire a laundry card. We didn't receive the keys needed for our storage or laundry room. The staff NEVER answers their phones during office hours. If you leave a voicemail asking a question or fill out a service request, the submission or voicemail will be marked as "solved" without them calling you back or actually fixing the problem. The fitness center is said to be open 24/7, yet all the doors are locked and there is no information on how to get in. We pay for pest control every month but they have been here once since we moved in and we still have a bug problem. We've only lived here for 2 months and least to say, this place is not worth the money!
I was very impressed upon arrival to view the units. But after moving in there were many things I found to be not in line with what I expected. No screens on my windows, ceiling fans loose and noisy, a lack of instruction as to how things work and are handled in the unit, a lot of minor repairs to be completed once I moved in and poor response time to my concerns.
Its good community. Just need the maintenance team to be more proactive. And the management to respond timely.
Nice peaceful spacious apartment homes, with the best maintenance crew!
this complex is clean, quiet and well maintained. I am very happy here
I wanted to move to Schoettler Village based on location, appearance, amenities and pet policies. I love my townhome and the amount of space we have. The grounds are immaculate, the pool is amazing and our neighbors are warm and friendly. I am truly home.
The new management that took over in 2018 it trying to make this luxury living. With that said, they are mandating additionals fees/services to residents rather they want them or not. Which then raises the tenets rent when the lease renews. For instance, valet trash, and alarm system. If I wanted to amentities, I would have choosen a place before moving in that already had them. Especially the alarm system, if I ddin't feel safe living here without one, I would not have picked this place to begin with. With that said, these amenties should be added to the unit when the tennets leaves instead of in the middle of their lease if they don't want the upgrade. The valet trash wasn't an option either. I not far from the community trash (That we have to pay for as well) and I can walk my own trash to the dumpster instead of paying someone $25/month to do it on top of paying for community trash. Its not like teh valet trash company hauls it away and dumps it else where. They load it up in the truck or the top of their car and drive up to the community trash and throws it in there. I've seen it for myself.
Management till Dec 2019 was very Good. Since Jan 2020, the attitude of the management has gone very bad and think twice before coming here. They don't care about the residents any more.
Nice price and great location however the apartments are very dated but they are clean.
Buildings and grounds are well maintained
The location is really nice. It's close to work and the floor plan is great for our family. Maintenance requests are answered quickly and efficiently. Administrative staff could take some lessons from the maintenance team.
