A decent community to live in. Fairly affordable considering the area. My boyfriend and I have lived here for almost two years and our only complaints are mold growth in all the windows and lots of pests.

Been here a few years. It’s ok. Close to highway. Gate system isn’t worth anything, always broken. Need a better system. They don’t do much for the residents. Better than some places tho.

It’s peaceful most of the time. Maintenance is great and prompt. Residents don’t pick up behind their dogs and some leave trash in the breezeway.

It’s quiet, neighbors are nice. No issues at all. Never bump into neighbors, can’t hear the highway with being next to it. Enough parking in both sides of the building.

Overall great experience. I didn't do 5 starts because the apartment was really gross when I moved in (had to do a deep cleaning and put in several maintenance requests). Didn't put a lower rating because they worked with me on the dates to move in. Maintenance is nice and so is the staff at the office. They're also good about keeping us informed about policies and general reminders of rules (printed and places on a clippy next to the door).

My overall experience here at Savannah Place has been good. I have been here for over nine years total, and I have only had a few issues, which have been primarily with the other tenants. We used to be a pretty nice, safe neighborhood, but we had drug handling in the first building I lived in, and it frightened me enough to make me want to move. Now, I won't be outside my apartment at night for long, and that is a pretty sad situation. Aside from that, the people in the office, need more help, the respond to you, but they could have better timing, and the work that was done to get my apartment 'ready for me to "move in was ridiculous. My bathroom has paint sloshed all around it and chipped in the fiberglass in the tub. One of the doors on the closets had a handle that just fell completey off, and the door to my patio storage wouldn't open at all.

Been here a couple years. Area is good. Getting very congested and over populated in this area. The community here is nice. Wish the company got more involved in doing things with and for the residents. Rent is over priced for what it is. Apartment is outdated. We feel safe here, the gate system isn’t the greatest and not really effective.

Savannah Place staff does not care the about residents. Central appliance covered by lease hasn't worked in months and staff has closed several service orders requesting a new replacement refusing to replace it. Be careful as they try to blame tenants for old and decrepit appliances, fixtures and flimsy structures. Property manager hangs up on tenants with valid lease and community concerns and ignores emails from tenants. Very unprofessional service and appalling experience.

We absolutely love the complex itself. It is located in a perfect spot right off the highway and close to Hanes Mall. The complex is also well kept and the amenities are amazing. We love the fitness center, pool, laundry room, dog park and car wash station so much. It is a beautiful complex. The unit itself is very big which is nice but is very outdated which is why this isn't a full 5-stars. I understand that there are renovated units that have a little higher rent but I do feel the rent is still a little high for the non-renovated units. When we first moved in, the apartment had a very strong smell to it that was left by the tenants before that we also feel should have been addressed before new tenants moved in. Other than that, the place is great and the community is amazing and we love it here.

It doesn’t even matter how tenants feel these days. As long as rent is paid, that’s what matters the most unfortunately. A lot of things can be improved especially with the playground and communication with the leasing office.

For the price of rent, I’d expect more. According to the website they have a putting green and hammock park, however they do not. When I looked at the unit I was supposed to be moving into that day, it was absolutely disgusting. I had to review all my paperwork with a fine tooth comb as fees, deposits, and other rent were not calculated correctly. The entire process seemed a little off.

I loved living at Savannah. I would have still stay if I wasn’t moving with my boyfriend. Definitely needs works on thicker walls and everything because neighbors can be heard very clearly and it can be really bothering. Apartments are spacious. Maintenance is great. Front office, Margaret was amazing. I really liked the firewood place.

Upon moving in there was dust all over the blinds, ceiling, and vents where it wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. The appliances are very dated, the microwave didn’t work and the dishwasher had some rust on the inside. Other than that everything looks great and it is a nice space. There are many amenities and they are in good condition.

I absolutely love it here! Very spacious and safe. I feel comfortable even walking my dog at night. It's in a place that's not too far from stores too. Def renewing my lease!

I have lived at Savannah Place since 2019 and have really enjoyed this community. I love my apartment, especially the beautiful sunroom for my plants and spacious living area. The dog friendly community is wonderful here and I love the convenience to 421 and shopping/restaurants.

DO NOT LIVE HERE FOR YOUR HEALTH
I cannot stress how important it is for you to not live here. The leasing office is run by horrible people. They are rude, dismissive, and will never return your phone calls or emails. The maintenance man is beyond creepy. I refused to have any interaction with him alone. When we first moved in, our apartment was infested with bees, wasps, gnats, flies, and cockroaches. When I complained about this to the office, the leasing office's only solution was "did you keep your windows open?". They provided no help until I relentlessly contacted them. I am allergic to bees, so I was disappointed by their lack of urgency. Turns out, they forgot to close my chimney cap prior to me moving in! How lazy of them. When this finally got fixed, a whole new set of issues began. We developed a horrible cough. We have always had mold around the windows of the apartment, so of course, we suspected mold was the root cause of the coughing, but the leasing office refused to do a mold test and assured us that nothing was wrong. We ended up calling a company and getting an air and mold test done by a professional. He found black mold in the walls and flooring of our apartment. When we showed these results to the leasing office, they were enraged and denied that there was mold. We tried to get out of the lease because the apartment was unlivable. The only reason we were able to get out of the lease is because we threatened to take legal action. We found a new place and guess what? No more coughing! I'm sure the mold is still in Savannah Place, growing away. I can't imagine the state of the other apartment buildings.

The two reviews below were so obviously left by employees of the apt complex ?? The apartments are nice but I came by to tour one of the vacant units the person in the leasing office couldn’t be less enthused to show me. I asked questions about the unit once inside and I could tell she would rather be anywhere else than there. I promptly left and continued my search elsewhere. Rude.

I love living here
When you live in a apartment, you have to remember you can't control your neighbors. I am fortunate that my building is very quiet. I read frequently in the quiet of my apt. I never hear my neighbors except for occasional footsteps above me. The office staff is very friendly & always on top of anything you need. The maintenance staff is always right there for you to fix problems. All you have to do is ask. For a complex this old it is extremely well maintained.

Have Loved Living Here!
I have beautiful apartment. I never hear my neighbors. The management staff is on top of things to make sure their residents are happy! I am not ignorant or obnoxious like the review states below :)
