Noisy!

This is the noisiest apartment I’ve ever lived in. Despite claims of improved sound insulation during renovations, you can hear every step from upstairs neighbors, along with constant creaking from the upstairs flooring. Replacing carpet with LVP flooring upstairs only amplifies the noise, causing it to echo and reverberate throughout the unit. While the complex looks nice and is in a great location, it’s vastly overpriced for what you actually get. The “luxury” renovations were clearly done on a budget. For instance, the LVP flooring was installed poorly, with visible gaps between the baseboards and the flooring. Additionally, outlet fixtures behind appliances are not the correct size, further highlighting the shoddy workmanship. On the bright side, the office staff is friendly, maintenance is responsive, and there’s ample parking.

We have been living here for over 5 1/2 months and love it. The newly updated apartments are awesome. They are working to update the whole community and can't wait to see how everything turns out. The maintenance is excellent at getting things done fast. The office staff have been freatvin working with us when we moved in, especially Nick. Don’t live here. It’s like one of those parks that used to be a huge trash dump. It looks pretty and the people are nice, but if you dig down a few feet then you’ll notice how bad it smells.

I had a great experience smooth move in process quick cox connect but they had to come out I have lived in 3 separate apartments here and have nothing but good things to say about the office, neighbors are kind and caring. Sense of community, which starts with the office which are doing great! Maintenance was quick and easy fixed the first time. Validated my concerns and amended them. The staff and management have been great I have lived here for over a year now and any time we have an issue that get things done. When my ac went out I called Nick and let him know the ac people were in the complex and he sent them to check it out. and they said we needed a new one the very next day they were putting a new one on. It is a good community to leave in as per the location. It falls under the Kyrene school district, and the school has a good rating. But, the apartment is very old and it has a low floor height. Most of the units are not renovated. Lots of issues with the maintenance.

The place is old and run down and SUCKS! I hate to see if I had to live in this dump full time. I would have broke my lease with in the first two months. AC is important as well as hot showers. The dish washer took 6 months to fix only after it was leaking and pulling up the flooring was anything done.

Its too early to tell if I will like it. I was promised an updated apartment-and definitely didnt get that. Now I have to wait for stainless steel appliances to be ordered. I didnt get the updated cabinets or flooring. I have seen other Grey Star properties that were kept up a lot better.
